However, the dragon curse indeed can change a person’s disposition.

The will of the evil dragon within the curse can alter a person’s character, gradually aligning them with the dragon. In ancient tis, many kind and just heroes were turned into murderous dragons because of the curse.

"Have you inford your dad of the good news yet?"

"Not yet."

"Then hurry and tell him, and also inform him that the misfortune curse from the black cat statue is gone. He doesn’t need to worry anymore, and ask him to co and take you back."

The black cat statue served as an unusual safe, and once the items within it were removed, the statue lost its purpose as a safe, and the misfortune curse it protected had no reason to exist.

"Ah? Can I go back tomorrow? I want to spend a bit more ti with you." Lin Qingwei said, her cheeks slightly red.

"No way, I have a match tomorrow for the final four, so I need to rest early and conserve my energy."

Li Cunxu rcilessly refused, yawned, and went back to bed to sleep.

Feeling disappointed, Lin Qingwei called Lin Jiusan.

Lin Jiusan sped over to pick up Lin Qingwei.

Seeing Lin Qingwei’s cheeks without the golden dragon scales, Lin Jiusan was thrilled.

"Great! Great! We finally got rid of that damned dragon curse."

"Dad, I also awakened a mutated Hundred Wood Eye [Hundred Dragon Eyes]."

Seeing the ’dragon’ character in Lin Qingwei’s eyes, Lin Jiusan was stunned with great surprise, and monts later, he burst into laughter.

"Good, good, good, our family has produced an extraordinary girl."

As they got closer, Lin Jiusan’s laughter suddenly ceased.

Where’s his daughter’s sea-colored dress with broken floral patterns?

Why had it turned into a man’s T-shirt and shorts?

The clothes looked incredibly familiar. Weren’t these the clothes that dog Li Cunxu wore when he ca to buy fragrant cows from his ranch?

Could it be that his pure and graceful daughter had been ruined...

Lin Jiusan said angrily, "Where’s he?"

Lin Qingwei replied, "He’s tired and went to sleep, there’s a match tomorrow for the final four."

Hearing that, Lin Jiusan regained a little bit of composure. Li Cunxu had transferred the dragon curse from his daughter, becoming her savior; he shouldn’t be mad at him.

But, for so reason, he was still quite upset!

Lin Qingwei softly asked, "Dad, what competition is currently at the final four?"

"The Most Powerful Newcor Cup."

"Then dad, can you help buy a ticket? I want to go and cheer."

Upon hearing this, Lin Jiusan imdiately felt like he had a heart attack.

Most Powerful Newcor Cup, Holy Lotus District, the final four begins.

Across from Li Cunxu was Xiang Bai, a classmate from the awakening day.

"Li Cunxu, go for it!"

Li Cunxu looked toward the source of the voice.

It was Lin Qingwei. How did she get here?

Beside her was her father, Lin Jiusan.

Lin Jiusan felt helpless. He didn’t want to co, but his daughter insisted on coming, and he couldn’t refuse.

His daughter used to be very self-conscious and reluctant to speak. Now that she has improved and beco more outgoing, he couldn’t discourage her. So, he spent a large sum on scalpers to buy two tickets.

Why did he co along? Who knew what the relationship was between his daughter who had changed clothes and Li Cunxu? He needed to keep a close eye.

"Co on! You, my lifelong rival, you can definitely defeat him."

Another cheer resonated loudly, echoing through half of the arena.

Li Cunxu didn’t have to look back to know the cheering was from Lin Fei.

"Hey, Xiaofei, why are you cheering for Li Cunxu too?"

Lin Jiusan’s seat was three rows behind Lin Fei, pretty close.

Lin Fei, holding a loudspeaker, turned around, "Oh, it’s Third Uncle! Li Cunxu is my lifelong rival; of course, I have to cheer for him and enhance his montum."

Lin Jiusan runs a ranch selling milk, supplying fresh, high-quality milk for the Lin Family, so many people in the Lin Family are familiar with him.

Lin Jiusan murmured, "Looks like Li Cunxu is kind of impressive after all."

"Huh? How co Li Cunxu summoned a Water Sli? Is it so pet beast using a transformation skill to disguise?"

The nearby audience clarified, "It’s not a disguise, his pet beast is indeed a Water Sli."

"He used a Water Sli to make it to the final four? Are the Beast Masters this year that weak?" Lin Jiusan asked, puzzled.

"My child is not weak, okay? It’s clearly that his Water Sli is too strong."

This audience mber’s child was defeated by Li Cunxu in the preliminary rounds.

Lin Jiusan further questioned, "How does he have a contract with a Water Sli?"

The audience explained, "I heard his contract position has a rare defect, where he can only contract a Water Sli."

Xiang Bai summoned his pet beast, the Strong Monkey.

"His contract beast is this? It certainly complents his Beast Master’s brute strength talent," Li Cunxu thought.

The Strong Monkey, a martial type pet beast, belongs to a unique race with an unchanging talent: the strong talent [Strength (Green)].

Combined with Xiang Bai’s brute strength talent sharing with the Strong Monkey, it essentially possessed both strength and brute strength talents, making its power terrifying.

"Xiaoruan, you mustn’t let the Strong Monkey get close, or one punch will finish you off."

"The match starts."

Li Cunxu quickly ordered, "Xiaoruan, use Poison Wind."

Xiang Bai was startled at the voice. Poison Wind is a Silver-level skill that can affect the entire arena.

A small sli could actually use a Silver skill?

Could it be that up until now, this sli has been hiding its true strength?

After watching Xiaoruan cast ’Poison Wind,’ Xiang Bai realized it was a false alarm.

This was far from ’Poison Wind’; it was clearly a combo of blowing wind and garbage-level poison gas, though it did sowhat resemble a cheap version of Poison Wind.

"Monkey Steps and Basic Punch, finish it off."

Xiang Bai confidently said, as knocking out opponents with a single punch was routine for him; if one punch wasn’t enough, he’d follow with the second.

The Strong Monkey leapt swiftly using monkey steps, with its powerful fists aid at Xiaoruan. Xiaoruan spat out a jet of poison gas, blinding the Strong Monkey’s eyes, then leapt aside to dodge the punch that dented the ground.

"Slash it with Grass Blade, and after each slash, change positions."

Blinded by the poison gas, the Strong Monkey was defenseless against Xiaoruan’s attacks, unable to retaliate effectively.

Xiang Bai found himself at a loss. The sensation of using absolute strength to defeat opponents was exhilarating, but in doing so, he neglected building his pet beast’s battle experience.

Up until now, Xiang Bai had always fought smoothly, but suddenly facing an issue that couldn’t be solved by strength left him montarily clueless.

"I haven’t lost yet."

Xiang Bai rolled up his sleeves, revealing the Bronze Grade weapon - the Vajra Armguard - on his arm, and charged into the arena, using a basic punch against Xiaoruan.

Xiaoruan repeated its tactic, releasing poison gas in Xiang Bai’s face. Xiang Bai, with eyes closed, still aid his attacks at Xiaoruan.

"Blinding with poison gas, hmph! I’ve practiced martial arts since the age of six, for ten years now. Sound-based positioning is second nature to . Blinding ? Hmph! I can knock you down with my eyes closed."

Several Grass Blades flew in, and Xiang Bai swung his arms, blocking them all with his Vajra Armguard.

Stomping on the ground, Xiang Bai leapt into the air, performing several backflips, and then hamred down his right arm. As Xiaoruan was about to be hit, suddenly, a foot ca flying in to deflect Xiang Bai’s strike.

The foot belonged to Li Cunxu.

"Shall we spar a bit?"

Li Cunxu chuckled lightly, gracefully retracting his right foot.

Ow, it hurts.

His right foot hidden beneath his pants trembled slightly.
