The Waste Queen shook her head.
"I’ve seen garbage sorting robots with hamrs, but never a group of them with hamrs."
Li Cunxu continued to ask, "Have you seen a garbage sorting robot with a hamr for a long ti?"
The Waste Queen carefully recalled and shook her head again.
Li Cunxu frowned, was he too early? Perhaps the hamr-wielding robots hadn’t been created yet.
What about his fourth contract beast?
He couldn’t always leave the fourth contract position vacant for a hamr-wielding robot, could he?
The divine gift grants the potential for infinite growth, which gets stronger over ti.
The earlier the contract for the beast, the better.
The Waste Queen inquired, "Hero, why are you looking for a garbage sorting robot with a hamr?"
"I’ve heard from others that they’re quite special and have huge potential, making them suitable for contracts," Li Cunxu said, finding an excuse.
"Aside from great potential, do you have any other requirents?"
"No. Do you have any recomndations?" Li Cunxu retorted.
"Hmm, hmm!"
The Waste Queen nodded vigorously.
"Indeed, there’s one recomndation."
"Let’s hear it."
"It’s one of my children."
Scrap Kids are mostly born from piles of waste, but exceptions exist; the evolved Waste Queen can nurture a child by eating waste.
Upon hearing this, Li Cunxu was a bit disappointed.
Oh, it’s a Scrap Kid!
There are tons of Scrap Kids, and among this massive number, few are remarkable. Even those that are, none are slightly well-known.
It’s worth noting, despite being known as waste, Sli had so famous counterparts in the past.
Yet Scrap Kids don’t have such fa, showing how wasteful they are.
"Why do you think it has great potential?"
"It can fish yellowfin tuna from small puddles. Hero, believe , its talent is extraordinary,"
The Waste Queen tried hard to pitch her offspring to Li Cunxu.
She could see that Li Cunxu was soone with a very promising future and was especially good at nurturing contract beasts.
Since he could develop the weakest pet, Sli, to beat hers.
The shock and admiration were no less than seeing soone build a lab by hand and craft a nuclear bomb.
Li Cunxu’s eyes lit up, quickly asking, "Where did it fish the yellowfin tuna from?"
"From a small puddle ford by rain."
"Are you sure you saw it right? How could you fish yellowfin tuna, which only exist deep in the ocean, from a puddle? Moreover, chanical City is far from the ocean and can’t have underwater connections to it."
White Spider questioned.
The Waste Queen pointed at the electronic eye and said, "I’m absolutely sure. There’s video evidence."
The Waste Queen played the video, which indeed showed a Scrap Kid using a half-broken fishing rod to catch a yellowfin tuna with a yellow dorsal fin.
Scrap Kid’s diet is tal waste, and yellowfin tuna isn’t on the nu.
Angry Scrap Kid kicked the yellowfin tuna back into the puddle. The tuna didn’t sink but struggled like it was stranded, its tail constantly slapping, emptying the already small puddle.
Seeing his beloved fishing spot disappear, Scrap Kid got even angrier and kicked the yellowfin tuna away again.
Worried that one video wasn’t enough to convince Li Cunxu, the Waste Queen showed another fishing video of this special Scrap Kid.
The video featured the Scrap Kid catching a greenfin tuna from a small puddle as well.
Infuriated, Scrap Kid broke the worn-out fishing rod.
White Spider’s eyes widened, not finding any signs of video editing.
"So there really is a miraculous talent for catching yellowfin tuna in puddles, huh? Master, do you know what this talent is?"
"I do."
The Waste Queen curiously looked over; her database didn’t have any related information, and she was curious about this talent’s na too.
Her knowledge ca from discarded data USB drives, and she couldn’t crack so high-end passwords, which made her database quite limited.
"There are two talents related to fishing in the video: one is Fishing in All Heavens, a golden legendary talent, able to randomly fish items from All Heavens and Myriads of Realms."
After waiting a while and seeing Li Cunxu deep in thought without speaking, White Spider asked.
"What’s the second talent?"
"Useless Fishing, a purple epic talent, which, like Fishing in All Heavens, can randomly fish items from All Heavens and Myriads of Realms. However, the items caught are useless, tasteless to eat, but a pity to discard."
Li Cunxu added, "This Scrap Kid seems to fit the characteristics."
The Waste Queen led Li Cunxu to find the Scrap Kid.
They found the Scrap Kid.
But they were a step too late.
The Scrap Kid had already been contracted by a Beast Master who saw its uniqueness.
The Waste Queen sighed heavily.
"Why did you make a contract already? You missed the Beast Master I was trying to get for you."
Sima Tu displayed his fist as large as a sandbag and angrily said, "You trash picker, how dare you despise ."
Scrap Kid pointed the fishing rod at Sima Tu’s nose, "Don’t speak ill of my mom."
Huh? Your mom?
This Scrap Kid was born from the Waste Queen.
Sima Tu froze for a few seconds, then imdiately apologized to the Scrap Kid.
"I’m sorry, I swore wrongly, but I was really angry. As the champion of chanical City’s strongest newbie cup, being underestimated is frustrating."
Sima Tu turned to the Waste Queen and asked, "Tell , is the Beast Master you tried to get stronger than ?"
The Waste Queen hesitated and didn’t answer.
She wasn’t lacking faith in Li Cunxu but didn’t want to cause him trouble.
Seeing the Waste Queen’s silence, Sima Tu looked at the boy behind her.
"Are you the Beast Master she tried to get?"
"I suppose so."
Li Cunxu rubbed his nose.
"I’m not the type to talk things out; let’s have a battle instead. Let the battle tell everything."
Sima Tu proposed the traditional Godly Beast fight, speaking through combat.
Though it seed fair, there was a malicious intent.
Winning against Sima Tu ant nothing for Li Cunxu; victory wouldn’t change that Scrap Kid had been contracted by Sima Tu. At most, it would only lessen Scrap Kid’s impression of Sima Tu slightly. But if Sima Tu won, Li Cunxu would beco a stepping stone, allowing Sima Tu to establish a mighty image in Scrap Kid’s mind, making it obedient.
Li Cunxu refused, "I don’t fight aningless battles."
Sima Tu was seething with anger.
"People line up from the city center to here, wanting to fight . Are you really a chanical City person? You don’t want to fight ."
"You’re right, I’m not from chanical City."
