After browsing through the other pieces of human skin paper, Vincent Wolf discovered that the content paralleled the first piece but with an extra bit of information revealed.
“Turns out, this Shadow Puppet was much like a carrier pigeon for these Evil Beast Masters, designated for delivering crucial intelligence.”
“So, was this Shadow Puppet not native here, but bred by the Evil Beast Master?”
“Not necessarily, perhaps it was indigenous but got tad by the Evil Beast Master afterward, tasked to carry out the job of a carrier pigeon.”
While thinking, a Flash of Insight struck Vincent Wolf, making him realize why his father had been attacked.
“Maybe, my father was targeted by the Evil Beast Master for his interaction with the Shadow Puppet, who might’ve thought my father had discovered the identity of the Shadow Puppet, and thus, ordered my father’s assassination.”
After figuring this out, Vincent Wolf thought the death of the Shadow Puppet served it right. It was the key factor leading to his father’s demise!
It wasn’t just guiltless; Vincent Wolf felt its death was too easy and should have been punished multiple tis over.
Luckily, its corpse was still around, and he could vent his anger on it during the holidays.
Vincent Wolf scoured the cave once more, only exiting reluctantly after ensuring there was nothing apart from these items. Then, he went to find Aiden Winter.
Upon reaching Aiden, he asked,
“What took you so long, did you not find anything?”
“I did find sothing; I’ve managed to kill the beast too, but there was a slight complication. ”
Vincent Wolf recounted finding the human skin paper in the cave and his speculations about his father’s death. After hearing this, Aiden Winter said,
“Is that so? Let see those.”
Vincent handed over the human skin papers to Aiden Winter, who studied them for a long ti.
“Your theory might just be correct! The Shadow Puppet is indeed the courier of the Evil Beast Master. The events detailed on this paper corroborate an incident from a few years back, adding credibility to your suspicion.”
Then, Aiden Winter laughed and continued,

Vincent Wolf agreed with a nod, but then he suddenly asked another question,
“Grandpa Winter, I’m planning a trip to the Archipelago Alliance, can you advise on how to get there?”
The sudden query caused Aiden Winter to pause. After pondering for half a minute, he replied,
“What are you doing going to that place?”

“The Archipelago Alliance is in a very bad geographical location; it’s closest to the Abyssal Demon Realm, making it the country most affected by the Abyss..”
