In the ssage Bai Tongchen sent him, he only ntioned Bai Qi’s seeming selectiveness towards certain races of beasts, but didn’t provide specific categories. So, after learning this, he left any with decent power behind.
“You could say there’s a pattern.”
Bai Qi scratched his head and explained the Twelve Zodiac Guardian Beasts concept to Bai Heguang. After so rumination, Bai Heguang surprisingly expressed complete agreent.
“Although they’re not particularly rare species, the selection is comprehensive. Good idea.”
Bai Heguang asked, “Do you have any physical examples?”
“Yes, Schuck has collected the Rat, Ox, Tiger, Horse, Sheep, Rooster, and Dog so far. You seem to have the remaining ones here.”
Bai Qi summoned the Husky and the seven Guardians, saying, “However, the materials used to create these Guardians differ, hence, there’s a considerable difference in their power levels.”

Bai Heguang took a careful look at the seven Guardians. Noting their liveliness, he nodded in satisfaction, “Is it troubleso to create these Guardian Beasts?”
“Not really troubleso per se, but since it requires Schuck and Jerry to use Spiritual Awakening and Soul Awakening concurrently, hence it can’t be widely used yet.”
Bai Heguang understood and asked, “Can I see them in real combat?”
“Certainly.”
Bai Qi nodded, then looked at Schuck, who imdiately issued an order to the Zodiac Beasts.

The Zodiac Tiger made of the finest materials was the first to attack, its fiery flas bursting wildly, aiming directly at the weak Ferocious Beasts not far away.
Close behind were the Zodiac Rat and two other creatures made from materials of Emperor Creatures, followed by the rest of the Zodiac Beasts.
Despite the seven Zodiac Beasts’ uncoordinated rhythms, their robustness led to the Ferocious Beasts – already gasping their last breath – to be killed without any resistance.

Bai Heguang nodded slightly. He examined Bai Qi with an increasingly odd gaze.
In the past, Bai Heguang thought Bai Qi was a fickle-minded person, fond of fiddling with trinkets. But now, the variety and formidable strength of Bai Qi’s creations surprised him.
“By the way, I heard that the three consciousnesses of this pet can act independently?”
Bai Heguang shifted his gaze from the Zodiac Guardians back to Husky, inquiring.
“That’s correct. Schuck and Jerry have both gained the ability to temporarily leave Husky to act independently. However, once their energy reserves run out, they have to return.”
Bai Qi nodded. Since gaining Quantum Thinking, Schuck could move freely. To ensure endurance and combat power, Schuck even had a special mini energy generator in his body, which occasionally absorbed external energy through mimicry of a generator.
As for Jerry, consuming the Soul Crystal allowed it to leave its physical form. After acquiring the Night Parade of One Hundred Demons skill, it could stay outside for an extended period, even absorbing souls by killing Ferocious Beasts to extend its endurance.
Except for encountering an intense battle that drained their energy instantly, the two consciousnesses could be considered independent pets.

With that, Bai Heguang pointed at Husky and continued, “Allowing consciousnesses to separate like this, before the soul origin has evolved to the Emperor level limit, only weakens your own soul’s defenses. To the Blood Scythe Wraith, your pet’s combat force after splitting is lesser than when it was a single entity.”

You must revisit your origin and balance it as soon as possible. Until your promotion to Emperor level, minimize independent actions like the current one.”
