Chapter 315: Chapter 311: Sun Secret Realm
Carl evidently hadn’t expected to be defeated once again, but feeling the gaze from behind, he silently accepted the outco and continued towards the next level.

Bai Qi went up for a closer look and realized the wall paintings depicted scenes of ancient people worshipping gods and receiving blessings. The god they worshipped was, of course, the Sun God.
However, Bai Qi was not especially focused on the Sun God, but he beca interested in the human who was being blessed.
“Three eyes… the Sun Secret Realm really does have sothing to do with the Three-eyed Civilization.”
Looking at the third eye on the forehead of the human depicted in the murals, Bai Qi imdiately summoned all his pets.
Ow-w-ow?
(Where is this? Why does it feel so dangerous?)
As soon as Beta appeared, it detected the abnormalities here. It was quickly drawn to the three-eyed human in the mural.

Bai Qi patted Beta’s head, asking.

Beta shook its head, its vertical pupils on the forehead suddenly opening as a burst of icy blue light scanned the surrounding walls without detecting anything unusual.
“I see…”
Bai Qi nodded, took a glance at the identical doors around him, then focused his gaze back on the beetle statue in front of him.
According to the information he had, this secret realm was the inheritance secret realm of the Sun Beetle. Since this statue was the only object here related to a beetle, it was likely to contain the clues.
“Alpha, check out this statue. Gamma, prepare your defenses.”
Bai Qi stepped back, signaling Alpha to approach the statue who, sensing the tension, cautiously approached with the Sword of Death and prodded the statue.
Nothing happened.
“As expected, I was overthinking.”
Seeing this, Bai Qi couldn’t help mocking himself. After all, no one would leave their inheritance lying in the lobby.
“Never mind. Let’s try sowhere else. Since the obelisk has teleported us here, the inheritance must also be here.”
Bai Qi surveyed the surroundings, intending to randomly choose a place to explore, when Beta’s vertical pupils suddenly turned golden. Simultaneously, golden patterns erged around the palace, slowly converging towards the ceiling.
With the illumination of the gold light, Bai Qi finally noticed a golden pyramid suspended upside down above his head. Below it was the Golden Beetle Statue.

Seeing this, Bai Qi beca even more convinced that Yi Yu had planned this all along and grew even more wary.
He didn’t believe that the inheritance secret realm was without danger and was simply waiting for them to collect. If that were the case, the Yixiu family would have already ransacked this place, leaving nothing for them.
Eventually, as the upside-down pyramid was illuminated by the light, a drop of golden liquid dripped from the tip of the pyramid and fell precisely onto the top of the Golden Beetle Statue.
A mont of calm passed, then the sturdy Golden Beetle Statue cracked open, spewing a stream of molten gold straight at Bai Qi and the others below.
“Damn it, such a big show, and they’re using such a primitive trap!”
Bai Qi cursed under his breath and leaped onto Delta. With one swift move, Delta teleported them back to their original stone room. Alpha followed by grabbing Gamma and Wormwood and took flight.

Seeing that Alpha has left him behind, Beta began to grumble. Fortunately, Schuck extended his chanical wings in ti and quickly followed.
Not long after the departure of Bai Qi and his five pets, the Golden Beetle Statue completely lted into gold, inundating the entire square.
“Such a lavish trap made of so much gold, do we call this divine extravagance?”
Gazing down at the golden sea below him, Bai Qi couldn’t help but click his tongue. He then looked at Beta, whose vertical pupils were still radiating golden light, and said, “Beta, what do you feel now?”

Beta tilted its head thoughtfully, its golden vertical pupils scanning the golden sea below but uncertain of what it saw.

Bai Qi’s eyes lit up. “Where?”
Beta extended a paw, pointing at the golden sea below.
“You’re saying it’s beneath this?”
Upon hearing this, Bai Qi hesitated. This was liquefied gold; even a Fifth Stage Beast Master plumting into it would probably result in a barbecue.

Silent at Beta’s words, Bai Qi turned to Schuck, “Schuck, have you analyzed what’s down there?”
“Unable to conduct an analysis due to unidentified energy interference.”
Schuck shook his head, “However, I agree with Beta’s statent.”
Bai Qi nodded. Clearly, Beta’s vertical pupils were related to the Three-eyed Civilization, and the golden sea appeared because of Beta. Maybe, the secret of the mythical secret realm lay here.
“Beta, you lead the way. Alpha, Gamma, Delta, rember to protect .”
After he finished speaking, Bai Qi kicked the Husky into the golden sea below. Then, with Gamma wrapped around him, he rode Delta and plunged into the sea.
As Bai Qi and his five pets entered the golden sea, the calm molten gold began to whirl rapidly, the vortex centering around them. By the ti the whirlpool disappeared, Bai Qi and his pets had vanished without a trace.
Following this, the golden molten liquid, as if alive, flowed together to reform the original beetle. The square darkened again as if nothing had happened at all.
