Snow Woman knew that Luoxue Town was not a simple little town; most of the Spirit Masters there ca from another world.

This was no secret to the higher-ups in Snow Emperor City.

Even the marriage of Snow Woman’s parents could be considered a political alliance.

Of course, her parents were very loving.

After hearing that Chen Mo and Bing Ling’er were from Luoxue Town, Snow Woman beca noticeably more familiar with them.

Under the light of the campfire, the group began chatting and boasting.

After drinking a few glasses of strong liquor, Snow Woman’s cheeks flushed and her speech grew more unrestrained.

She looked like an ice beauty, yet her temperant was unexpectedly lively and free-spirited.

Half-drunk, she began to boast:

"Do you know? Long before Snow Emperor City was established, there were already legends of the First Generation Snow Sea Spirit in the Yulong Mountain Range."

"It is said that in ancient tis, a Totem-level Ice Phoenix perished here. Through the catalyst of Ice Phoenix Blood and Ice Phoenix Soul, the will of the Snow Sea Forest nurtured a spirit, becoming the First Generation Snow Sea Spirit."

"After the First Generation Snow Sea Spirit was born, it silently guarded all the creatures in the Snow Sea Forest, and it was around that ti that the Yulong Mountain Range began to gradually see Spirit Masters."

"My grandfather told that at that ti, Spirit Masters often encountered the Snow Sea Spirit in the Snow Sea Forest and revered it as a deity."

"After a long passage of ti, the Evil God Era arrived. An Evil God nad the Fallen Demon God chose to descend in the Snow Sea Forest. At the mont of its descent, the First Generation Snow Sea Spirit imdiately suppressed and sealed it."

"It is said that the Forbidden Snow deep in the Snow Sea Forest was created by the First Generation Snow Sea Spirit to prevent Commander Rank and higher Spiritual Beasts from breaking the seal."

"Evil God Era..."

Upon hearing these four words, Chen Mo fell into deep thought.

He had previously visited Thundercliff and Qingqiu Secret Realm, where traces of Evil God invasions were left.

Thus, he had speculated that Spirit Realm might have experienced a large-scale invasion by Evil Gods at so point.

Now, hearing the words "Evil God Era" from Snow Woman’s mouth, his speculation was undoubtedly confird.

But what was strange was—neither the official website for Spirit Masters nor the archives in Hongng Company Library had any records of the Evil God Era, as if the higher-ups of Blue Star did not want Spirit Masters to actively explore content related to Evil Gods.

While Chen Mo was pondering, he didn’t notice—the little blue bird on his shoulder was nodding continuously as Snow Woman narrated the legend of the Snow Sea Spirit.

"Lady Snow Woman, may I ask when did the Evil God Era approximately begin?"

Chen Mo thought for a mont, then decided to ask.

Although it might make him seem uninford, being in contact with the higher echelons of the Spirit Realm, he did not want to miss this opportunity.

He had a strong desire to explore the unknown and secrets.

"According to the ancient records preserved, the Evil God Era initially originated more than five thousand years ago in Central State, where a black giant hand covered the entire sky of Central State."

Snow Woman said slowly.

Chen Mo was sowhat startled.

Central State’s land area was even larger than the entirety of Dongxia! If just a palm could cover the entire sky of the Central State World, then the true size of this Evil God might be comparable to a planet!

Of course, the possibility that its true form was just a hand couldn’t be ruled out.

Chen Mo briefly compared its power with that of the Ancient Thunder Dragon and was sowhat horrified to find that this Evil God’s power might even surpass that of legends!

"The Evil God Era lasted for about 50 years, which was also the darkest and most tumultuous ti in all of Spirit Realm. Although the Evil Gods were incredibly powerful, at that ti, the Spirit Realm also had many powerful beings at its peak. Various Deity-level and Totem-level Spiritual Beasts jointly suppressed these invading Evil Gods."

"According to the ancient records of Snow Emperor City, the First Generation Snow Sea Spirit was also one of the Divine Beasts that took action at that ti."

"After suppressing the Fallen Demon God, no one ever saw the First Generation Snow Sea Spirit again, and legends about it gradually faded from people’s mory."

"And now, the ergence of a new generation of Snow Sea Spirit ans that the First Generation Snow Sea Spirit truly existed and is about to die."

The old doesn’t die, the new doesn’t arise.

The birth and death of the Spirit of Nature is often a cycle.

"Before the First Generation Snow Sea Spirit perished, it is highly likely that..."

"Cough cough, Miss, this chicken leg tastes really good."

At this mont, Liu Yan interrupted the Snow Woman.

"Indeed, it tastes quite good."

The Snow Woman quickly reacted. Clearly, the rest of what she was about to say was a secret, not ant for Chen Mo and the others.

"I see."

Chen Mo nodded, having not expected such a story behind the Snow Sea Spirit.

"Of course, you can consider all that I’ve said as just mythological tales. The Evil God Era has passed so many years ago, no one knows whether these legends are true or false."

"Okay."

"By the way, Chen Mo, since our goals align, how about you travel with us? If we really find the Snow Sea Spirit, it’ll be down to skills, and if you capture it first, we won’t try to snatch it from you."

The slightly tipsy Snow Woman extended an invitation.

By the flickering campfire, her delicate face appeared quite captivating.

Damn, using her beauty as a weapon!

This girl definitely had her eyes on his "cooking skills."

Chen Mo thought to himself.

Indeed, the status of a Spirit Chef is welcod everywhere.

Though traveling in a group could be inconvenient, like less freedom in movent, collecting ingredients not as easily accessible, and so on.

However, the advantage was it would be easier to find the Snow Sea Spirit, and as a professional exploration team, the party from Snow Emperor City would definitely have ans to locate it.

Chen Mo was still hesitating when suddenly, a loud tremor was heard from outside the cave.

Thump, thump, thump!

It seed like so large, ferocious beast was running swiftly through the snow not far away.

"Everyone, be on guard!"

Liu Yan shouted.

"I’ll go take a look."

Chen Mo spoke.

As he reached the cave entrance, under the bright silver moonlight, he saw three fierce beasts charging towards the cave.

Leading them was an Ice Plain Lion, with two demon-like ice-blue horns on its head and its body covered in crystal-like mane, emitting the aura of a Third-tier Commander.

Following it were two Commander First Rank snow wolves.

On the back of each Commander Rank Spirit Beast, there sat a Spirit Master.

In the blink of an eye, the three spiritual beasts had already reached the cave entrance.

Sensing Chen Mo’s spirit beast was rely of Transcendent Rank, the man with a scarred face sitting atop the Ice Plain Lion scoffed:

"Kid, we’ve got our eyes on this cave. Get smart and scram!"

He then made the Ice Plain Lion charge towards the cave without any intention to avoid Chen Mo.

If Chen Mo didn’t move aside, he planned to just roll over him.

"Judging from their approach, these three are likely Spirit Hunters."

Chen Mo thought to himself, yet showed no intention of dodging, with Xiao Jiu standing in front of him, its claws containing rising flas and flickering lightning.

However, the Wish-making White Fox did not take the initiative to attack; it planned to wait for the Ice Plain Lion to charge closer before striking it away, which would look cooler.
