At the city gate, there was a sea of people, banners fluttering in the wind!

Led by Ning Ye, the notable representatives of Jiuxing City’s families, along with nurous Beastmasters, stood in a neat formation to welco them.

Further back were countless ordinary folks who ca spontaneously, their faces beaming with enthusiasm and respect, as if welcoming triumphant heroes.

"What’s... what’s going on here?"

Lee Zhen was a bit confused, whispering to Lin Chen.

Lin Chen was equally puzzled; they hadn’t notified anyone ahead of their return.

At this mont, Ning Ye laughed heartily and stepped out from the crowd, approaching the duo with cupped hands, his voice loud and filled with pride:

"Welco back! The heroes of our Jiuxing City!"

"Patriarch Ning, this is a bit too much..."

Lin Chen, facing the overwhelming crowd, felt sowhat overwheld.

Ning Ye, noticing their awkwardness, laughed and explained:

"Don’t be surprised! Nowadays, our southern cities have ford a ’Information Alliance.’ When one side is in trouble, support cos from all around, and information is passed on swiftly."

"You had just arrived in South City, and we got the ssage right away! We’ve been waiting for your return!"

Lin Chen and Lee Zhen suddenly realized.

"But isn’t this a bit... too high-profile?"

Lin Chen smiled wryly.

Ning Ye, upon hearing this, smiled even more broadly, a hint of mischief in his tone:

"You are now the face of our Human Race, the role models that countless young Beastmasters look up to!"

He first pointed at Lee Zhen: "Phoenix Arm... holding its own against the Divine Race without losing ground!"

Then he focused on Lin Chen, raising his voice slightly: "As for you... who doesn’t know by now of your feat with the Divine Bull and Divine Fox, in one strike astounding the world and uplifting the Human Race’s prestige?"

"To tell you the truth, recently, a large number of loose cultivator Beastmasters have flocked to Jiuxing City, many of them experts, and they’re here because of you!"

"You are now a living banner of our Jiuxing City, no, of the South! These people didn’t co because I called them; they ca spontaneously upon hearing of your return."

Lin Chen was stunned, his eyes scanning the crowd, indeed noticing many Beastmasters nodding at him in friendliness, with so displaying spiritual power levels reaching over eighty!

Ning Ye’s face was also full of proud contentnt.

Once upon a ti, Jiuxing City was only known for its production of Divine Fox Spirit Beasts.

But now, thanks to Lin Chen, this city has completely transford into a "Hero City" symbolizing courage.

With Ning Ye and the enthusiastic crowd surrounding them, Lin Chen and Lee Zhen slowly walked into the city.

The Jiuxing City before their eyes had undergone earth-shaking changes compared to when they left.

The streets appeared wider and cleaner, flanked by rows of shops teeming with activity. New buildings sprang up, including so extrely luxurious super-mansions, indicating the city’s transformation from a small town to sothing much larger.

Yet, in the heart of this bustling scene, an area of old-style courtyards stood quietly, incongruous with its surroundings.

With blue bricks and black tiles, the walls worn and weathered by ti, it exuded a sense of age and serenity.

There, in the courtyard, was the forr residence of Qin Shaoshao.

As people passed by, they conscientiously subdued their smiles, walked gently, and cast eyes filled with respect.

The residents of Jiuxing City had not forgotten who had stepped up in tis of crisis to save the city and their lives.

This place had already beco a sacred mory in their hearts.

Upon hearing about Qin Shaoshao’s matters, every single resident of Jiuxing City had once co in front of his residence, silently paying their respects, mourning, and expressing their gratitude to Qin Shaoshao.

Seeing the familiar gate, Lin Chen’s gaze softened, filled with deep nostalgia and a hint of unnoticeable pain.

He had once inquired Chen Ming about the "Celestial Spirit Body" and the "Spiritual Forbidden Area," but no one could get close to investigate the situation within.

Lin Chen also intended to pursue clues to rescue the Celestial Spirit Body with all his efforts after resolving Xiaobai’s matters.

Finally, Lin Chen gathered his thoughts and inford Ning Ye of the purpose of their return.

"Black Mountain City?!" Ning Ye’s expression turned peculiar.

"What happened?"

"Half a month before your return..." Ning Ye swallowed, shocking with his words, "a Secret Realm entrance appeared in the center of Black Mountain City."

"Now the entire Black Mountain City has completely disappeared!"
