Chapter 52: Chapter 52: The Fallen Wolf King, Lost Online

32nd floor, inside a spacious shop that had been tidied up.

Mo Qingchen unrolled the scroll and spread it flat on the ground, forming a square painting one ter in length and width.

Intricate patterns combined to form a terrifying eye, looking incredibly evil.

"As expected, the Abyss is never a good thing."

Looking at the unfolded Tier One Abyss Summoning Scroll, Mo Qingchen tapped on the smart bracelet.

"Hey, dimwit, scan this pattern and record it."

"Happy to serve, master."

A beam of phantom light shot from the smart bracelet, directly illuminating the scroll on the floor.

"Scroll pattern recorded. You can view it anyti, master."

Satisfied, Mo Qingchen nodded, then linked to the Beast Taming Space in the abyss pattern at his brow.

In the next mont, a green-skinned toad, with both its forelimbs and hind limbs bound tightly with rope, appeared beside him.

"Green Hat Bro, I’ve wronged you these past days, but soon you’ll be free, and you won’t have to suffer in my hands anymore."

Since summoning this Green Hat Frog from the Green Grassland using Abyssal Summoning upon awakening, he had kept it in the Beast Taming Space.

Earlier, he almost forgot about it, nearly starving it to death, then he pampered it every day with food and drink, all for the sake of this great endeavor, no?

He stroked the oil-slickened, green head and placed it directly in the center of the scroll.

"Green Hat Brother, if you reincarnate back to the Green Grassland, rember to choose the sheep pen."

With those words, the cone silently pierced into the head of the Green Hat Frog.

As blood flowed down, dripping onto the Abyss Summoning Scroll, a layer of ink-black light rose up.

[Notice: Beastmaster Mo Qingchen has activated the Abyss Summoning Scroll, detected an exotic plane coordinate sacrifice, beginning connection to that exotic plane...]

In an instant, Mo Qingchen felt his divine soul being dragged into chaos by the Abyss.

In a hazy dream-like state, he seed to stand outside the world’s barriers, peering at the boundless Sea of Chaos.

One world after another, like bubbles of light, flashed past him.

With just a glimpse, he saw the scenes of countless worlds.

Giant beasts soared upwards, their roars piercing the nine skies, shattering the earth beneath their feet.

The sky filled with dead energy, vengeful spirits and ghosts howling, the undead ravaging the world;

Gigantic chanical beings transford into spaceships, traversing the stars, unrivaled, destroying planets.

...

Innurable worlds, countless exotic beasts, he stood like a god or demon in the Sea of Chaos, observing the rise and fall of all heavens and myriad realms.

Who knows how long it lasted, but Mo Qingchen’s divine soul, enveloped by the Abyss’s power, plunged into a bright bubble world.

A world with green mountains and clear waters.

In the Green Grassland, herds of cattle and horses moved together.

In mountain rivers and canyons, schools of fish and shrimp road.

On the expansive plains, a Sheep Village appeared, where little sheep walked upright, each doing their own thing.

Past Sheep Village, through the forest, directly arriving at a massive Wolf Castle.

"Grey Wolf! You’re slacking off again, hurry up and catch so sheep! Don’t co back without them!"

In the Wolf Castle, Red Wolf, with one hand pulling Grey Wolf’s ear and the other holding a frying pan, knocked on his head, forming bumps like bubbles.

"┭┮﹏┭┮, wife, stop hitting , I’ll go catch so fat sheep for you to eat now."

Holding his ears and covering his head, Grey Wolf quickly dashed out of Wolf Castle’s door, leaving a wolf-shaped imprint.

Looking at the door panel with a big hole, Red Wolf was speechless with a row of black lines across her forehead.

Grey Wolf, rushing out of the Wolf Castle, crouched under a big tree, poked at an ant nest with a small stick, his face mournful, sighing endlessly.

Life as a wolf was so hard, every day making plans to catch sheep, only to be mocked and toyed with by those fat little sheep.

"Alas, I’m just a useless wolf who can’t catch a lamb, causing my wife to only gnaw on grass roots with

every day, how pathetic."

Thinking of his wife eating bitter, unpalatable grass with him, Grey Wolf’s tears flowed down.

He wasn’t crying for himself, but for not being able to let his wife eat mutton, or live well, only sharing in hardship and grass.

The heartache for his wife far exceeded the pain from the frying pan’s strikes.

He’s just a useless wolf!

Always failing, constantly on the path of failure.

Unable to catch lambs, eat mutton, support his wife, or dare to have kids, if it weren’t for an ancestral Wolf Castle offering shelter, he’d wander the world with his wife.

In his pri, accomplishing nothing, achieving nothing.

His life was a table full of tragedies!

Grey Wolf, face full of negativity and dejection, looked blankly at the blue sky and white clouds, seemingly protesting why fate treated him this way.

"Grey Wolf, do you want to change all of this?"

A hazy voice sounded in his ears, but its aning was clear to Grey Wolf.

"I’m just a useless wolf, my life is ruined, can’t change it."

The indifferent Wolf King didn’t even blink when he responded.

If he weren’t a useless wolf, could he drag his wife to chew grass with him daily?

"Don’t you want to give Red Wolf a happy life, to let her eat mutton every al?"

Mo Qingchen really didn’t expect that the Grey Wolf he wanted to make a contract with was now plunged into a self-doubting daze.

However, getting this great Wolf King back on track wasn’t difficult.

Red Wolf was the best motivator in his heart!

"I’m just a useless wolf that can’t catch lambs, unable to let my wife eat mutton, let alone a happy life (╥╯^╰╥)..."

Two streams of clear tears flowed from the wolf’s eyes.

At this mont, Grey Wolf wasn’t a Wolf King, but a wolf grieving for his wife, unable to give her happiness, overco with self-bla.

"As long as you sign the contract with , I can guarantee that Red Wolf will eat mutton at every al and that she’ll live a happy life!"

What about a depressed wolf?

In Mo Qingchen’s world, getting mutton was easy?

Don’t even bother counting, roast one and toss one, it’s all good, as long as Grey Wolf is happy.

"Really? Can you really let my wife eat mutton every al?"

"Of course, in my world, if there aren’t a hundred kinds of sheep, there are at least dozens. Especially the tender at from lambs, sliced and dipped in hot pot with chili and special spices, that taste, tsk tsk..."

How do you catch a Grey Wolf?

Give him mutton! Give him mutton! And more mutton!

"Cough cough, are there really dozens of sheep breeds? Is hot pot lamb really that tasty?"

His gaze might still be numb, but the tear streaks at the corners of his mouth showed that Grey Wolf was slightly tempted.
