Ray felt shocked, gaining a proper understanding of the tal King Sli’s strength.
"Holy! Its strength is actually 15, comparable to initial stage demonic creatures specializing in strength. It’s considered impossible for Iron Rank Demonic Creatures to possess the sa strength as Bronze Rank Creatures. Did it manage to do it because it’s a King, the rarest type of demonic creatures?"
"In its base state its strength and soul power is comparable to initial Bronze Rank demonic creatures, and its agility, strength, defense, and magic power is comparable to Peak Iron Rank Demonic Creatures. In its transford state, its defense surges to the sa level as a Bronze Rank Demonic Creature specializing in defense. In both states it can command an army using its Kingly Aura and lessen the strength of all beings in its surroundings that are weaker than it. No wonder it managed to survive a 2v1 against Bronze Rank beings despite being at the Peak of the Iron Rank."
"As expected of a King Type monster. It’s truly terrifying."
"If its magic power capacity was 500 units better, the Ash Legion wouldn’t have stood a chance against it. The Devour and Mimic Abilities can be abused in so many ways. It faced danger before it could get to the bronze rank. Otherwise, few below the silver rank could rival it. It’s good that it happened. If not for Shinma and his Leviathan Pup weakening it, I wouldn’t have gained the chance to ta it."
These were Ray’s thoughts about the tal King Sli, his newly tad demonic creature.
"Every effort I put into obtaining the tal King Sli was worth it," Ray thought, feeling giddy, happiness seeping from his every pore. What did it feel like to be rewarded for your hard work? This was exactly what it felt like!
"tal King Sli, let’s escape before Shinma and his Ash Legion notice what has transpired," Ray commanded.
"Muri."
The tal King Sli acknowledged weakly as fighting with Shinma and his Leviathan Pup had left it exhausted.
In an instant, its colossal body dissolved into a brilliant beam of light, sinking into Ray’s forehead, vanishing from sight.
The very next mont, it appeared within his Niwan Palace.
There, it curled into itself like a wounded titan while uttering "Muri" thrice.
All the battles it had endured before being tad had left it injured and greatly exhausted; now it wanted to rest, lick its wounds, and recover.
Settling the Magic King Sli in his Niwan Palace, Ray hurried to get out of the steam-choked valley as Shinma’s enraged voice roared out from within the steam-choked valley.
"Who dares strike at from the shadows?! Levi! Strip the valley of its haze. I wish to see the coward’s face!"
VOOOOOM!
At Shinma’s command, a resonant and deafening whale-like cry thundered out of the Leviathan Pup as it opened its mouth wide and erupted with a monstrous suction force.
A howl like a world collapsing into a black hole was produced, the steam filling the valley ripping away in great swaths, getting sucked into the Leviathan Pup’s gaping maw.
With the valley cleared of its suffocating haze, visibility returned, and Shinma’s scrutinizing, bloodshot eyes swept across his scorched surroundings, searching for the culprit who had ruined his greatest plan yet.
Imdiately, he noticed two things.
