Sheng Kun was instantly infuriated when he heard this.
"Just because the target is a female cultivator, you refuse?"

"Do you even comprehend what you're rejecting?"

Seeing Mo Yu still hesitating, Sheng Kun turned away in disappointnt.
"I'll give you one year to reconsider. Think carefully - if you wish to save your master."
He left the Limitless Immortal Physique behind and vanished into the void. Mo Yu stared at the physique, his thoughts in turmoil.
"The Heavenly Demon Scripture's fourth level allows the first perfect soul usurpation. After usurpation, one retains their original physique, techniques, and spell mastery while gaining the target's innate talents."
"At the fifth level, a second perfect soul usurpation becos possible. I've now reached this stage."
"aning even if I take this Limitless Immortal Physique, it's only temporary. As long as I quickly find another target, I can change back..."
"Never mind. It's just temporary. For my master's sake, what wouldn't I endure?" After internal debate, Mo Yu decided to proceed.
The Limitless Immortal Physique knew no limits. Ordinary cultivators hitting a realm's peak would stagnate until breaking through, but this physique could ignore such bottlenecks. Just as Mo Yu moved to summon Sheng Kun, his Spell Elental and Ice Soul Gu urgently intervened:

"You're suggesting I abandon this body?" Mo Yu asked, confused.
"Exactly! The risk is too great. This woman dominated the Origin Realm before Sheng Kun and Li Tianyi. Who knows what contingencies she prepared? Even with Sheng Kun protecting you, this usurpation would be extrely dangerous."
"Why not discuss making her your second target?"
The Ice Soul Gu explained: "You have two perfect usurpations available. First take a less risky vessel to gain experience, then co back for the Limitless Immortal Physique when better prepared!"
"There's so logic there. But that ans I'd be stuck with this physique until reaching the Heavenly Demon Scripture's sixth level for a third chance?" Mo Yu frowned.
"Great achievents demand flexibility," the Ice Soul Gu suggested. "Leave now to find another immortal physique elsewhere."
The priority was escaping Sheng Kun's surveillance. They couldn't risk changing bodies under his watch.
"Fine." Mo Yu trusted the Ice Soul Gu - a gift from his master - more than Sheng Kun. Without it, he could never have inherited the Eight-Ard Heavenly Demon Sword Path. Decision made, he stepped from the cave, the Ice Soul Gu going dormant.
"Holy Son."
Activating the communication artifact Sheng Kun left, a voice imdiately echoed from the void:
"Decided so quickly? I gave you a full year."
"I've considered carefully," Mo Yu replied. "While I appreciate your offering the Limitless Immortal Physique, I sense extraordinary depth in her. Even with the Heavenly Demon Scripture, I lack complete confidence."
"Now that I've reached the fifth level with two usurpations available, perhaps I should first take a weaker immortal physique to gain experience before attempting this one?"
After a pause, Sheng Kun responded:
"Very well."
"In that case, I'll teach you a thod to enhance demonic bloodline during usurpation."
"May these two usurpations perfect your demonic lineage..."
Later, contemplating the technique, Mo Yu gazed where Sheng Kun had vanished:
"This Demonic Sect's Holy Son exceeds my expectations."
"Other cultivators overestimated Lin Jing for lasting briefly against him."
"A perfected demonic bloodline alone would overwhelm Lin Jing, let alone Sheng Kun's Heavenly Demon Scripture - certainly at the Nascent Soul-corresponding fifth level with two perfect usurpations."

Hearing Mo Yu's muttering, the Ice Soul Gu and Spell Elental exchanged exasperated glances. Their "amnesiac" avatar had truly fixated on opposing his original self.

What rewards might await if they sold rather than usurped her?
