Lucius still didn't understand, as the system's words were too simple now, but he began to read the words more carefully.
Lucius then thought it more carefully after reading it and finally he could conclude sothing as he looked at the word "essence".

Lucius then continued, "They didn't alter their essence, only their behavior or physical capabilities for a limited ti, with a price later on that were their deaths."
He then folded his arms and smirked, "But the permanent hacks, which are the ones that truly shape the beast, are bound by its essence. The soul can only bear so much before it breaks."
Lucius smirked as he tapped his chin. "Really Interesting. It prioritizes preservation of the beast's essence for permanent modifications. A built-in safeguard to maintain my resources."
Lucius then turned back to the system, "You must know it, right? Tell how to strengthen a beast's essence so it can endure more hacks."

Lucius then began to summon another white beast from a second beast ring. The new white beast then appeared and when it looked around, it was surprised to see the one beside it.
It could see that the one that was bigger than him was the sa as him, except it was bigger, stronger, and also had a pair of tiger claws.
Lucius, who looked at the surprised white beast, was amused as he crouched down and said, "Even among your kind, fear is instinctual, huh? Don't you worry, as you won't be left behind."
Lucius then turned to the system and said, "Hack this one as well. Make it eight tis larger, toughen its muscles by five tis, and add a horn to its forehead—sharp enough to pierce steel."

The system soon reduced the required points and began the hacking. The new white beast imdiately let out a panicked cry as it began to feel pain.
Its body then began to grow rapidly into the sa size as the previous white beast and its muscles were also tightened to the sa level.
But there were so differences between the two white beasts, as this one had a horn that power didn't lose to the tiger claws.
Lucius was satisfied after watching the transformation. He then began to scan the new white beast to see if he also had the sa stats as the previous one.

Lucius raised an eyebrow and smirked, "Interesting. The stats had been enhanced too, but to think that I was not aware of these other changes."

Lucius also glanced back at the first modified beast, scanning it as well. Its species had also been changed, as it was now listed as a "Large White Tiger-Clawed Beast."
Lucius then concluded, "Too many hacks can rewrite the essence of the beast that can even change the species. It can be said as an evolution but it is not, as it doesn't raise its star level."
He then looked at both beasts and clasped his hand. "Species nas are irrelevant as they are just nas to identify both of you."
Lucius then suddenly smirked, "What matters is potential and the power that you will have after so hacks, so why don't we continue our experint?" Lucius said as he watched the two trembling beasts.
