Fiona laughed.
"You really want to see what this escaped hybrid looks like, huh?"
She flipped mid-air, landed on a broken pipe.
She then pointed one gloved hand toward the next zone.
"Then let's go et her. Hopefully she has a good cara angle."
Just as she turned a corner—
Her visor flashed red.
"Hostile detected."
Two Chimawren swooped down from the broken towers.
Their mutated wings twitched, claws glowing with blood-red energy.
"Oh," Fiona said, smiling. "We've got so uninvited guests."
The first Chimawren dived straight at her.
Fiona crouched low—then jumped.
Boosters fired from her boots, launching her up and over the beast.
She flipped, summoned a glowing spear from her back, and stabbed it downward.
Boom!
The Chimawren crashed into the ground, wings snapping.
The second one ca fast from behind.
Fiona twisted and fired a quick blinding flash from her shoulder light.
The beast screeched, flying blind.
She spun and threw her spear—direct hit to the chest.
It fell with a heavy thud.
Fiona landed on a tal beam and posed with a wink.
"Alright chat, two down. Who's keeping score?"

Just as Fiona turned to keep walking, a loud screech ca from the far side of the street.
Her visor locked on.
"Flaregul. Four of them."
The mutated firebirds flew overhead.
Their bodies glowed with embers, wings leaving burning trails behind.
"Perfect."
She grinned.
"Let's make it a light show."
She activated Broadcast Domain: Fla Sync Mode.
Music kicked in—fast drums, rising tempo.
Her gloves sparked as two fla-threaded whips ford in her hands.
The first Flaregul dove.
Fiona whipped upward—the lash wrapped around its neck.
With one swing, she spun it midair and smashed it into a tower.
The second and third circled her, launching emberbombs from above.
She danced between the impacts, each step bursting in light. Her visor tracked them all.
"Chat, do you see this rhythm?"
She jumped again, spun her whips, and threw both forward like twin spears.
Boom! Boom!
Two more Flareguls fell.
The last one hesitated.
Fiona looked up and raised a hand.
"Co on."
The beast shrieked and dived.
Fiona waited until the last second—then activated Phoenix Flash Finisher.
Her body lit up with fire and light.
She kicked upward, launching herself like a bullet.
She punched straight through the Flaregul's chest.
Boom.
It fell in flas.
Fiona landed with a smirk.
"Sector E is tough," she said. "But not Luxoria-tough."

Fiona walked through the ruined gate of Sector E.
The air was quiet now.
Broken buildings.

She looked forward.
"Alright chat… we're in."
Her voice dropped slightly.
"Let's go find this hybrid."
She tapped her wrist, and four more drones flew out from behind her shoulders, spreading wide across the area.
"Alright, team," she whispered to the cara, "eyes in every direction."
The drones zipped between ruins alleyways.
They scanned the rooftops, scanned inside buildings, flashing small pulses of light.
All they showed were broken walls, burned streets, and a few scattered piles of ash.
One drone beeped.
Fiona turned toward the feed.
"Another mutated Chimawren. That's the fifth one I've seen here."
She sighed, then looked back at the cara drone following her.
"Chat… no sign of the hybrid yet."

A red overlay appeared across her view.
She scanned the area—nothing moved.

She stepped into the middle of an empty street.
"You saw take out your pets. You saw walk into your ho."
She spread her arms wide.
"Well… I'm here."

She waited.
One second.
Two.
Then a sharp tal sound echoed through the air—like claws on steel.
Fiona spun toward the sound.
From the shadows of a ruined building… sothing stepped out slowly.
It wasn't a Chimawren.
Or a Flaregul.
It wasn't like any beast she'd seen before.
She whispered.
"…Found you."
The hybrid had arrived.
