The heat shimred across the cracked horizon.
From the haze, a line of movent erged.
Dark silhouettes rode fast and low, kicking up bursts of dust as they approached Liora.
Fiona's drone lens zood in automatically.
"Whoa," she whispered.
"Okay, chat… We've got incoming."
One figure rode a massive beast.
Huge, brutish, and boar-shaped, plated in bone-wrapped iron armor, with tusks as thick as tree trunks.
It snorted molten breath as it stomped toward the clearing.
Flanking it from above were four smaller figures on flaming hawk-like beasts.
They circled in swift arcs, leaving trails of smoke and fire behind them.
Fiona swallowed.
"Okay, that… I don't know what it is. But that thing's a walking war cri."
"And those in the air—I also don't know those."
"But they must be so mid-rank Aurelius scouts."
"Damn it. We're looking at a full strike unit."
Liora stood in the open, unmoved.
The lead rider pulled his beast to a halt.
The rider stood tall, clad in dark Aurelius armor.
A cruel sneer stretched across his scarred jaw.
"So," he said, voice projecting like thunder, "you're Liora Luxoria."
Liora said nothing.
He gestured with one gauntlet, tapping a pulse key on his wrist.
The boar stomped forward once, tal bones creaking.
The fla birds above shrieked and tightened formation.
"I'm First Enforcer Dargan," he continued.
"Commander Theron gave one order."
"If any Luxoria is spotted in Aurelius territory—terminate imdiately."
His eyes narrowed. "And you? You walked in alone."
He raised a hand.
"You'll die today."
Liora cracked her neck.
Then smiled.
"Try it."

She turned her drone cam toward Liora.
"And she's not flinching. At all."
The boar let out a slow, grinding snort.
Its tusks sparked against each other, steam rising from its plated shoulders.
Behind Dargan, the four fla bird riders began to split off.
Fiona gritted her teeth.
"They're prepping a pincer dive."
"That's standard Aurelius strike pattern three. She's about to get blitzed."
She hesitated, eyes on Liora's back.
"She told not to fight. Said to stay hidden. Just stream."
She sighed. "Damn it. Fine."
Then, quieter, she added, "You better win, Liora."

Dargan raised one arm and barked,
"Flaregul units—suppress and eliminate! Burn her down!"
The sky responded instantly.
All four Flaregul hawks screeched.
Their ignition-feathered wings flared wide before diving in sharp, coordinated arcs.
Each rider drew impact lances, tips glowing red-hot.
Fiona's drones tracked every movent.
"Oh no. Oh no no no," she muttered.
"Chat, they're going in. Four divebombers."
"Each trained to kill in a single pass."

Liora stood still.
No tension. No panic.
Just silence.
Then her eyes flashed silver-gold.
"Leon," she whispered.
Behind her, a ripple of pressure tore the air apart as Leon appeared.
Not in beast form… but as flowing tal and energy, coating her body.
"Suit configuration," Liora commanded.
"Silver Sun Executioner Mode."
The energy twisted and locked into place.
Plating slid over her limbs. Gauntlets ford around her arms.
A full helm split open around her head and closed with a snap, visor igniting.
She now stood in a full combat suit of solar alloy.
Fiona's jaw dropped.
"Are you kidding ?! She just put on her beast like it's armor?!"

The first Flaregul dove, its rider aiming straight for Liora's head.
Jetflare bursts cracked the air as the beast's talons extended, coated in fla.
Liora raised one hand.
Boom.
A silver cannon ford over her palm and unleashed a beam of compressed solar light.
The Flaregul was vaporized mid-screech, its rider disintegrated in a flash of incineration.
The second and third ca at her from opposite sides.
Liora pivoted on her heel, boosters igniting from her back.
She launched upward, twisted mid-air, and caught both combustion riders by the throat.
They barely had ti to scream before Liora slamd them together.
She detonated their beasts with the collision, hurling the corpses to the dirt below.
The fourth rider panicked.
His Flaregul veered upward, attempting a quick U-turn, trying to gain distance for another strike.
Liora's helt locked on.
"Leon—tether spear."
A javelin ford in her right hand, crackling with radiant solar bands.
She hurled it with absolute force.
It pierced the Flaregul through the wing, ruptured its combustion gland, and exploded mid-air.
It sent the rider's charred body spiraling into the ruins.

The light of her armor pulsed once—then dimd slightly, standing by for the next engagent.
Dargan's face twisted in disbelief.

He gripped the side of his boar's tusk.
"You killed them like insects."
Liora didn't move. Her voice ca cold from the suit's voice modulator.
"I warned you."
Fiona kept low, cara pointed forward. Her face was pale and stunned.
"Chat… We just watched four Aurelius aerial elites die in under ten seconds."
She swallowed.
"She's not fighting."
"She's executing."
