Lucius leaned back, crossing his arms as he looked at Luna, Liora, and Loreia.
"Listen carefully. The cultivation manual for the Beast King stage explains sothing very simple… yet incredibly powerful."
He tapped the book cover lightly.
"Unlike the Beast Fighter stage, where tars rely on fusions to gain strength, the Beast King path allows the master to draw mana directly from their tad beasts, cultivating it within their own bodies to permanently enhance their stats and physique."
The room fell into silence.
Luna, Liora, and Loreia stared at him, absorbing what he just said.
Luna's eyes widened, her ears perking up as she leaned forward. "Wait, wait, wait—are you telling that we can beco stronger without fusing with our beasts?!"
Liora, usually calm, narrowed her eyes. "That ans… even without rging with Leon, I could still grow stronger just by absorbing his mana?"
Loreia frowned slightly. "So we don't have to rely on fusion anymore? We can permanently increase our base strength?"
Lucius nodded, smirking. "Exactly."
He looked at all three of them.
"The Beast King stage is the point where we—the tars—beco the true kings of beasts."
Luna grinned, crossing her arms. "Damn… that changes everything."
Liora clenched her fist. "This ans… even without fusing, we can reach levels of power beyond what normal Beast Fighters can ever achieve."
Loreia tapped her chin. "But if that's the case… wouldn't this an that the strongest Beast Kings don't even need to use fusion? They could reach the level of high-ranked beasts on their own."
Lucius nodded again. "Exactly. A true Beast King could stand equal to their own tad beasts. That's why this stage is so feared… and why it's so difficult to reach."
He then tilted his head slightly, looking at the manuals again.
"Now that I think about it, this seems to be the next stage after 6-Star in our past world."
Luna's ears twitched as she thought back to their old world. "Yeah… once a fighter surpassed 6-Star, they stopped relying on external sources and started refining power within themselves like the patriarch."
Liora nodded. "This feels the sa. Instead of just relying on our beasts, we beco strong enough that we, ourselves, are a force to be reckoned with."
Luna crossed her arms, realizing a problem.
"But what's the difference between the lower manual and the better one?"
Lucius smirked, leaning back. "The difference lies in the beast itself."
Liora raised her eyebrow. "The beast?"

Lucius nodded. "What I just explained is the general concept of the Beast King stage—the ability to cultivate by absorbing the mana of your tad beasts."
He lifted the first manual, tapping its cover.
"However, how you do it depends entirely on the beast."
Loreia nodded. "So, what exactly makes the lower one worse than the better one?"
Lucius chuckled. "It cos down to the bloodline of the beast being used for cultivation."
Luna tilted her head. "Bloodline?"
Lucius nodded. "The lower manual is designed for lower-tier beasts—ones with weak or impure bloodlines. That ans the mana they provide is also lower in quality, making the growth slower and less effective."
Liora's eyes sharpened. "So, the stronger the beast, the more powerful the cultivation results?"
Lucius smirked. "Exactly. But there's a limit. Even the lowest-level Beast King cultivation manual requires at least an S-Rank beast to work properly."
Luna whistled. "So, anyone below that rank can't even start this process?"
Lucius nodded. "Correct. If a tar has only A-Rank or below, they will never reach Beast King. Their beasts simply don't have enough energy to provide."
Loreia, flipping through the second manual, narrowed her eyes. "And the better manual?"
Lucius chuckled, picking up the higher-quality book and tapping it with a smirk.
"The better manual is exactly what it sounds like. It uses beasts with better bloodlines—ones with stronger inherent abilities, allowing for faster and more potent cultivation."
Luna leaned closer. "So, what are we talking about? Like, better S-Rank beasts? Or…"
Lucius's smirk widened.
"Not just better S-Rank beasts... but those with ancient bloodlines. Beasts with royal or divine ancestry. Those with powerful elental affinities or special body constitutions."
Liora grinned. "So, in other words, the stronger and rarer the beast... the more ridiculous the growth speed becos."
Lucius nodded. "Exactly. Different beasts have different thods of cultivation, depending on their elent, species, and unique traits."
Loreia sighed, rubbing her temples. "So, basically, it's all about beast selection. The better your beast, the better your cultivation."
Lucius grinned. "Correct. And guess what?"
Luna smirked, already catching on. "We're in the perfect position to take advantage of this."
Liora crossed her arms. "With Master's ability to easily modify a beast, we can cultivate the best ones for ourselves."
Lucius leaned forward, smirking. "Exactly."
---
Lucius turned to Liora, smirking. "Summon your beast, Leon."
Liora raised her eyebrow. "Oh? You're going to do sothing to him?"
Lucius smirked. "Of course. Let evolve him to his best form before you start cultivating."
Liora grinned, cracking her knuckles. "Heh, I like the sound of that. Alright then."
She took a step back and summoned Leon.
A majestic silver lion with a mane of pure fla appeared beside her.
Lucius looked at the beast, smirking. "Leon, co here."
Leon's sharp eyes snapped toward Lucius, instantly sensing his intent.
The lion growled lowly, ears twitching as if in protest.
Liora laughed, placing her hand on Leon's side. "Hah! He doesn't trust you, Master."
Lucius chuckled darkly. "Oh? Afraid I'll turn you into sothing unrecognizable, Leon?"
The lion rumbled, yet its instincts told it not to disobey.
With a low, almost reluctant growl, Leon finally stepped forward, stopping in front of Lucius.
Lucius smirked, patting the beast's head. "Good boy. Now, let's begin."
He then turned to Liline. "While I absorb the materials and evolve Leon... make sure our pet shop stays hyped."
Liline bowed elegantly. "Understood, Master. I shall ensure that Luxoria Castle remains the center of all attention."
Luna, standing nearby, grinned. "Ohhh, I like where this is going. If we push the hype further, people will start lining up just to buy from us."
Loreia nodded, already formulating ideas. "We can leak information about upcoming beasts. Maybe... spread rumors about exclusive breeds only available through us."
Lucius chuckled, placing his hand on Leon's back. "Do what you must. I'll handle the evolution."
