Loreia was frozen still. Her expression shifted from shock to confusion and then to sothing that was quite close to disgust.
Her eyes darted between Liora and Luna before Lucius. "Who the hell are these two, Lucius?! And why did they just call you Master? Explain it to now!"
Lucius let out a long sigh, rubbing his temple. Of course, she would react like this.
He turned to Liora and Luna, raising his hand. "Calm down. She's my sister. Loreia."
Both won blinked as they were really surprised. Luna asked again for confirmation. "Your sister? The real one?"
Lucius nodded and gestured toward her. "Yes, she is my sister, the real one."
Both Luna and Liora imdiately lowered their guard. They exchanged a glance before stepping back, returning to their usual composed state.
Lucius then shifted his attention back to Loreia, who still looked skeptical, arms crossed tightly.
He t her gaze directly and sighed. "I'll explain it all later, so stop looking at with that disgusted expression of yours."
Loreia let out a sigh, still glaring. "Fine, but I am a bit skeptical. Just looked at them."
She gestured toward Liora and Luna. "They're too beautiful. And they're calling you Master? Lucius, are you…?"
Lucius cut her off with another sigh. "Don't let your mind spiral too much, sis. It's not what you think. Just sit down. I'll explain everything to you."
Loreia hesitated but eventually sat down onto the couch, arms still folded. "Alright, fine. I'll listen. Please explain it to ."
Lucius nodded, then glanced back at Liora and Luna. Like usual, they stood behind him, silent but always protecting him.
Lucius then glanced back at Loreia. With everything settled for now, it was ti to explain to her just who they were.
---
Lucius leaned back slightly in his chair, crossing his arms and exhaling.
He then gestured toward them. "They're just so orphans I t on the road."
Liora and Luna were a bit surprised as they glanced at Lucius in confusion. Orphans? That was not the story they rembered.
Loreia was also surprised as she raised her eyebrow. "Excuse ? Can you repeat what you just said, Lucius?"
Lucius sighed dramatically. "They were holess. I found them, took them in, and helped them get back on their feet."
He gestured to them again lazily. "They only look like this after a proper bath."
Liora and Luna kept their expressions neutral, but internally, they were both thinking the sa thing. "Master, really?"
Loreia narrowed her eyes, as she was still suspicious about them. "Then what about them calling you Master?"
Lucius shrugged. "They must just be grateful for picking them up. Maybe they got a little too formal about it."
Loreia leaned back and crossed her arms as she glanced at both of them again. "That really doesn't make sense, you know."
Lucius fought the urge to sigh again and instead, he played his little brother card at her. "Don't you trust your little brother, sis? I'm serious about this."
Loreia rubbed her forehead, letting out a deep sigh. "Okay, okay. I won't ask about it again."
She glanced at Liora and Luna once more, scanning them carefully. "Looking at them… they don't seem to have any bad intentions toward you. So I'll just believe you... for now."
Lucius smirked. "Thank you, sis but still… why are you here this early?"
At his question, Loreia frowned a bit as she beca serious. "I got a call from your school."
She then sighed as she crossed her arms. "They told you suddenly left in the middle of the ceremony."
Lucius frowned as he heard that. He never thought that they called her because of this.
Before he could reply, Loreia suddenly stepped forward and hugged him. "Don't be too sad. Even though you weren't awakened, I'll still love you."
Lucius smirked slightly, patting her head. "Yeah, I know."
Then, with a slight chuckle, he added, "By the way, I'm hungry. Got anything to eat?"
Loreia pulled back, sighing again. "We don't have any food at ho. I'll go buy sothing outside."
She then turned her gaze to Liora and Luna, who had been silently observing their interaction.
"And you two, I don't know who you really are, but… thank you for looking after my little brother."
Lucius raised an eyebrow slightly, amused at how quickly she had decided to accept their presence.
Loreia stretched before heading toward the door. "Wait here, okay? I'll buy so food."
With that, she left the apartnt, leaving Lucius with both of her maids.
Lucius watched her leave, but he felt sothing strange. He felt that sothing bad could happen to her.
He then turned to Luna and beca serious. "Luna, have your beast, Loxen, follow her."
Luna glanced at Lucius and was curious. "Do you sense sothing, Master?"
Lucius exhaled. "I don't know why, but I have a bad feeling just now. Just in case, keep an eye on her."
Luna nodded. "Yes, Master. Don't worry about her. Loxen will protect her."
Without hesitation, she raised her hand, summoning her beast, Loxen, the Silver Shadow Panther.
Loxen erged from the silver portal. It was a shadow elent beast, so it was a perfect beast for tailing and protecting soone unnoticed.
Lucius was satisfied and turned away, walking toward the bathroom. "Alright, I'll go take a shower."
As he left the room, Luna suddenly smirked. She glanced down at Loxen. "Follow that woman, who was Master's sister and protect her."
Loxen flicked his tail as he understood his mission, but before he could move, Luna suddenly stopped him.
Luna then smirked and added. "However... I have another order for you, which was to follow her, but do not interfere."
Loxen blinked. He didn't understand what Luna ant. Did she want him not to interfere or what?
Luna then explained it more clearly. "Only show yourself if sothing truly dangerous is about to happen. Even if she gets beaten up a little, do nothing."
Loxen's fur tensed slightly. He was thinking that the order was quite a twisted and strange one. Read new adventures at My Virtual Library Empire
This was the master's sister that he needed to protect. He was thinking just what Luna was thinking for ordering this.
Luna's smirk didn't fade as she reassured him. "Don't worry. I will be the one responsible for this. Just do your order. This is a plan that will be good for her too."
Loxen stared at her for a mont, then sighed. Luna was her beast tar, so she could only do what was ordered.
Without another word, Loxen vanished into the darkness, silently tailing Loreia.
anwhile, Lucius was completely unaware of Luna's hidden intentions.
