Lucius followed Loreia out of his small apartnt. He then looked around the familiar environnt.
Everything looked the sa as he rembered. Buildings, roads, and people going about their daily lives. They were all the sa as he rembered.
Yet, sothing was different. As he walked, he could see so beasts that were not supposed to be here.
At first, he dismissed them as normal pets, but a closer look shattered that assumption. These were not the dogs or cats he had once known.
A sleek cat with green, leaf-like fur sat near a flower stand. As it lazily flicked its tail, the flowers around it blood, vibrant and full of life.
A small, fluffy rabbit bounced down the pavent, and with each hop, tiny, shimring bubbles floated into the air, popping softly, releasing fresh air.
Further ahead, a group of children crowded around a chubby, ferret-like beast, its round body squished against a girl's chest as she hugged it tightly.
Instead of resisting, the creature let out a soft purr, completely content in her arms.
Then, his gaze landed on a particularly strange sight. A massive, cloud-like cat, its fur thick and unbelievably fluffy, rolled across the street.
Every ti it rolled, it collected pieces of trash stuck to its coat, then stopped in front of a garbage bin and shook itself clean, dropping the trash inside before continuing on its way.
Lucius paused for a mont as he saw the beasts. They really resembled the ones from that world.
Not just simple animals, but beasts infused with abilities. Powers. Elents. These creatures were no ordinary pets. They were sothing far greater.
His fingers twitched. This isn't just my world. It's sothing else. Sothing altered. A parallel world.
His eyes flickered as he absorbed the realization. If this place had evolved differently from the world he knew… then what else had changed?
Lucius exhaled and started walking again. He promised himself that no matter what, he'll figure this out.

They soon arrived at a school. Lucius rembered this school, as this was the one he had attended when he was in high school.
The structure was exactly as he rembered. Every brick, every window, the dull, uniform design of a standard school.
He had never been the type to socialize or a loner. He spent most of his ti studying, shutting out unnecessary distractions.
Friends? He had none. He had never needed them. His focus had been singular. Mastering knowledge, pushing himself beyond his limits.
Yet, now, here he was again, as a 17-year-old student, standing before the very sa school as if ti had reversed itself.
Beside him, Loreia was glaring at him. Lucius turned to her and didn't know what she wanted.
Loreia then sighed and grabbed both of his shoulders. "Let's see if you have any talent. That would make very happy."
Lucius blinked once. Talent? What was she talking about? He didn't ask. Instead, he simply nodded. "Alright?"
Without another word, he turned and walked into the school and as he thought before, nothing has changed. The corridors and classrooms were all the sa as before.
He imdiately went to the room that he rembered as his classroom. He would like to see just what changed here.
Lucius entered the classroom without a word and scanned around the room. It was already filled with students, most of them chatting among themselves.
He recognized so faces, though he had never bothered to rember their nas. In his past life, he had been a loner, no friends, no connections, just focused on his own path.
Without hesitation, he moved to the side, taking a seat by the window, away from the noise.
He rested his chin on his hand as he watched the class from above. This should have been normal. A typical day in high school, in the world he had left behind but it wasn't.
A few minutes later, the door opened, and the teacher walked in. Lucius straightened slightly, expecting to see the sa teacher from his mories but he didn't.
The man at the front was soone completely unfamiliar. Lucius had no recollection of him. Another difference.
The teacher stood before the class, his gaze sweeping over the students before he spoke. "Today is a special day, which was Awakening Day. I'll remind you all once more what this ans."
Lucius leaned back slightly, listening carefully.
The teacher then continued. "Let's start from the beginning. Fifty years ago, a worldwide calamity changed everything."
"Animals and plants underwent an unprecedented evolution, transforming into beasts."
"These creatures beca stronger, more aggressive, and humanity struggled to defend itself."
"But we as humans also evolved, though not in the sa way as plants and animals."
"Unlike the beasts, our evolution required awakening. Humans needed to awaken their talents to form bonds with beasts and command them in battle."
He paused, glancing at the students. "But not all of us are capable of awakening."
Lucius narrowed his eyes.
"Only 99% of humanity has the ability to awaken a talent and beco Beast Tars. The remaining 1% are talentless, unable to ta beasts and dood to live as ordinary humans."
A murmur spread through the classroom, so students shifting uncomfortably.
The teacher then lifted a crystal orb and held it for all to see. "This is the Awakening Crystal."
He then put it back down. "It was developed through extensive experintation to help awaken talents more efficiently."
"Any seventeen-year-old and above who touches this crystal will unlock their talent and take their first step toward becoming a Beast Tar."
Lucius stared at the orb. This world's rules are a bit similar to the another world that I knew.
The teacher continued. "Talents are categorized into three tiers, determined by the color of the light emitted when you awaken."
He raised a finger. "First, Green Light ans Common-Tier Talent. Those with this can ta one beast."
A second finger. "Second, Blue Light ans Elite-Tier Talent. These individuals can ta up to three beasts."
Then, a final finger. "And lastly, the rarest of them all, which was Red Light, ans Sovereign-Tier Talent."
"It is said that those who awaken this talent can ta up to ten beasts. They are the ones who stand at the peak of this world."
Lucius frowned after hearing what the teacher said, as this world was indeed his original world, but it was different at the sa ti.
But he then smirked as, although it was different, he was used to this system of beast tars.
He was from the world of beast tars after all, and now this world was too and it made this world more interesting than he thought. Discover hidden stories at My Virtual Library Empire
