Ragnar and Liora materialized in the middle of a bustling camp. Around them, a group of tars moved with purpose.
They were now training to prepare for themselves when they went to war with the mysterious group.
Ragnar smirked as he surveyed the crowd. "Hmm, seems they've prepared quite the force."
Liora also looked at the gathered tars. She saw a variety of beasts, but they were still weak compared to Leon. She remained silent but alert.
They began to go to the center of the camp. They were going to the tent where Minister Anselm and Karion, the leader of another allied faction, were waiting.
Karion saw that Ragnar had co. He then gestured at the assembled forces around them. "Ragnar. We've gathered quite a number of people for this operation. "
He then frowned and gestured toward Ragnar. "But to think that you ca with only one person with you."
Ragnar only smirked. He glanced around the tent before glaring back at Karion. "Didn't I tell you before? I might co, or I might not."
He then shrugged nonchalantly. "But after thinking it over, I decided it was worth my ti to show up."
Karion frowned. But before he could respond, Anselm stepped forward and frowned deeply. "This isn't a ga, Ragnar. How dare you co here alone? And worse, you bring... a little girl?"
Liora imdiately glared at Anselm coldly after hearing those words. She didn't speak but Anselm could sense the tension around her.
Ragnar chuckled and raised his hand to stop her. He then glanced back at Anselm and warned him. "Careful, Anselm. You're not in a position to lecture ."
Ragnar leaned forward and smirked. "I've done more for this operation than most of your people combined. I even found the enemy's position."
Ragnar then smirked and shrugged. "So unless you've suddenly beco an expert in reconnaissance, I suggest you hold your tongue."
Anselm's frown deepened. But before he could retort, Ragnar gestured toward Liora. "And as for her... she's my niece, and she's here to gain experience."
Anselm was surprised and angry. "Experience? This is a war, not a playground for girls!"
Ragnar smirked as he stepped closer. "Oh, I'm well aware. And I'm not playing around."
He used his thumb to point at Liora. "She's stronger than half the clowns you've brought with you. Maybe more."
Karion glanced between Ragnar and Anselm, clearly unsure whether to intervene.
Anselm clenched his fists and tightened his jaw. He seed to reconsider whatever harsh words he was about to say.
Liora, who had remained silent until now, decided to speak. "If you doubt my strength, Minister, feel free to test it yourself."
She raised her chin slightly. "Or perhaps... you'd rather send one of your 'experienced' soldiers?"
Before Anselm could respond, a voice erupted from the crowd. "How dare you talk like that!"
The man who had shouted stepped forward. He was tall and broad-shouldered. He was wearing the insignia of a lieutenant on his armor.
He pointed his finger at Liora and disdainfully shouted. You're just a girl! You can't be more than twenty-five, and at best, you're a 4-Star Tar."
He then crossed his arms. "What makes you think you belong here, speaking like that?"
The other soldiers watched the scene. Liora glanced at the man and smirked. She crossed her arms and tilted her head slightly.
"If you're so sure I'm weak, then humor . Just how strong are you?"
The lieutenant puffed out his chest and declared loudly. "Let make this clear. I am Lieutenant Bral, a peak 5-Star Tar."
"I've fought in countless battles and earned my rank through blood and sweat. I'm more than strong enough to be here."
Liora only smirked. "Only a 5-Star, huh?"
She then uncrossed her arms and walked slowly to him and spat out. "Too weak."
Bral frowned. He clenched his fists tightly and shouted. "How dare you..."
But before he could finish, Liora stopped a few paces away. She imdiately unleashed her 6-Star aura at him.
Several soldiersinstinctively stepped back the mont they felt the pressuring aura.
The lieutenant staggered slightly. He was in disbelief as he felt the crushing pressure of her 6-Star aura. He could barely breathe under the weight of it.
Liora looked at the pathetic lieutenant and smirked. "For a peak 5-Star Tar, you're already struggling to stand."
She then stepped closer to him to make her aura press him down even harder. "And yet, you call weak?"
Bral forced himself to stand. He wasn't shocked anymore but instead angry. "H-How? How can soone like you—a little girl—be a 6-Star Tar?!"
Liora smirked as she leaned slightly closer and mocked him. "Who said a little girl can't be a 6-Star Tar?"
Before Bral could react, Liora moved forward. She instantly closed the remaining distance between them.
She shot her leg up and delivered a clean and devastating kick directly to his groin. The impact was imdiate.
Bral's eyes bulged, his mouth opening in a silent scream as he collapsed to the ground in an instant, clutching his midsection.
The crowd winced collectively. A few soldiers also couldn't help but to mutter, "Oof," under their breath.
Bray laid there. He was unconscious and motionless. His pride and superiority have been completely shattered by Liora.
Liora straightened and brushed her hair back casually as though nothing had happened.
She glanced around at the stunned soldiers and smirked. "Anyone else want to question why I'm here?"
No one answered. Even Anselm, who had initially doubted her, remained silent. He was shocked that he could not say anything at all.
anwhile, a young man was leaning against a pillar. He casually folded his arms across his chest.
From his vantage point, he had witnessed the entire exchange between Liora and the lieutenant. Read the latest on My Virtual Library Empire
He smirked as he watched the unconscious Bral being dragged away by a couple of embarrassed soldiers.
He tapped his chin with his hand. "A young 6-Star Tar from the Volcaria family... How intriguing."
He tilted his head slightly and smirked. "I wonder... could I make her mine?"
The thought amused him. He was used to getting what he wanted. Whether it was power, influence, or people. And this ti, it seed he had found sothing or rather, soone worth pursuing.
