Lucius leaned at the nearby chair. He watched Liora, who was still rubbing the Silver Fla Lion.
"Liora. Your beast has reached 4-Star, and now it's your turn. ditate. Focus. It's ti for you to ascend as well."
Liora nodded. She took a deep breath and settled herself on the ground. She crossed her legs and placed her hands on her knees.
Lucius circled around them and smirked. He turned his attention to Silver Fla Lion. He just realized that he had not scanned it.
"How can I forget about it? Let scan you now, then." Lucius activated his system and scanned it.

Lucius chuckled as he analyzed the data. He brushed his chin with his fingers. "Not bad. This beast is as powerful as Luna's Loxen. A perfect match for you, Liora."
He looked at Liora. She was still ditating, trying to advance to 4-Star. "Luna had beco 4-Star and Liora was not far from it. It's ti for to ascend as well. I can't lag behind."
Lucius turned to the system. He already knew what he was going to hack and the cost for it. "Hack my talent and upgrade it into 6-Star. Also add Hidden Aura."

Lucius braced himself. His body tensed as the process began. A searing pain began to spread through every nerve of his body.
He gritted his teeth and clenched his fists. He also kneeled down, trying to endure the pain. "This... is just the beginning."
The pain was unlike anything he had felt before. It was like sothing in his body was being stretched and reforged over and over.
As the process continued, the pain began to subside. Lucius controlled his breath and smirked. Finally it was over.
"Good. My talent had finally been upgraded. I can advance to 4-Star now."
He turned his attention back to Liora, who was still deep in ditation. Her energy had grown stronger and more stable.
Lucius moved to sit beside her. He crossed his legs and rested his hands on his knees.
He glanced at the lion and nodded before focusing his gaze on Liora.
"Liora. Let's rise together. Let's break through to 4-Star. Let's see how far we can go."
The room beca silent once more. The Silver Fla Lion watched over them. It would not hesitate to kill anybody who dared to disturb them.
---
Lucius opened his eyes. He could feel that he had changed. He looked around and saw the Silver Fla Lion sitting beside him.
Lucius could sll the aroma of freshly prepared breakfast. Lucius knew that Liora had woken up and reached 4-Star first.
Lucius stood up and went to the dining room. He could see that Liora was busy preparing the foods.
Lucius smirked and went to Liora. "So, you have reached 4-Star tar, huh?"
Liora turned to him and nodded. "Yes, Master. I broke through last night. And Master, you've reached it too, haven't you?"
Lucius chuckled. He took a seat at the table and gestured for her to join him. "Of course I am. I am your master after all."
But suddenly, new knowledge appeared in his mind. It was about the ability of 4-Star Tar. He smirked after reading the new knowledge.
Liora noticed Lucius' smirk. She was curious about what happened. "Master. Why are you smiling? Did you discover sothing?"
Lucius leaned back in his chair. He tapped his fingers lightly on the table. "It seems that our talents had sothing quite... interesting ability."
Liora frowned and crossed her arms. "What do you an? I don't feel anything new. What's this ability you're talking about?"
Lucius raised an eyebrow. He was surprised that Liora didn't know it. "Have you already forgotten the mark of tars at 4-Star and beyond? The ability to fuse with beasts."
She was surprised. She just realized it. "I just rember it. It's fusion ability, but... it's not like full fusion, right?"
She tried to rember it. "Aren't we only able to fuse a single limb with our beast's traits because we are 4-Star? Isn't it better to let the beasts fight directly?"
Lucius chuckled. He leaned forward. "That's true. But also wrong. Our talents were God-level so it was a bit different from the usual."
Liora furrowed her brow. "How different? What makes it better than relying on our beasts?"

Lucius smirked and stood up. "It seems words won't suffice to convince you. It's better if I show you."
He gestured toward the food on the table. "But first, let's finish breakfast. You'll need your strength."
Liora nodded. She took her seat across from him. As they ate, the Silver Fla Lion lay by Liora's side. It occasionally glanced at her.
Halfway through the al, Liora suddenly looked down at the lion. She rested her chin on her hand. "By the way, Master... I haven't nad him yet, have I?"
Lucius raised an eyebrow. "A na, is it? Sothing simple but fitting, I assu."
Liora nodded and turned to the lion. "Yes, sothing strong but uncomplicated."
She paused for a mont. She studied the lion's posture and thought of a na. "How about Leon?"
The Silver Fla Lion blinked. It let out a low growl. It seems that it was satisfied with the new na.
Liora smiled and stroked its mane. "Leon it is. You like it, don't you?"
Leon responded with a deep purr. Its tail swayed around. Lucius watched the scene with amusent. He then finished the last bite of his and rose from his chair.
"Well then. Now that we're properly fed and ready, let's head to the training area. It's ti for your lesson, Liora."
Liora stood as well. "Yes, Master." Leon rose up and stood beside Liora.
Together, the three of them left the dining room. Lucius was ready to show Liora the real ability of the user of God-level talent.
