Lucius then began to enter the grand hall and was surprised by how luxurious it was. But although it was luxurious, Lucius didn't like it here because of one reason.

There were so transparent glass panels lining the far side of the hall and through them, Lucius could see so rivers of lava.

He then imdiately knew where the Volcaria's main estate was located. "To think that they put their main estate inside the heart of a volcano. No wonder the family exudes such fiery power as it's practically bred into them."

The heat from the volcano had also begun to affect Lucius as he began to furiously sweat and weaken, as it was hard for him to stand right anymore but still he could only endure this.

Lucius then looked at two people that were sitting on top of the two thrones that were located at the end of the grand hall. From looking at their fierce faces, Lucius could tell that they were the parents of Magnus.

Lucius also imdiately felt their auras that were hundred tis stronger than Magnus. Because of it, Lucius imdiately knew that he needed to be careful around them or else.

Soon the patriarch, who was glaring at Lucius, imdiately shouted, "I am Ragnar, the patriarch of the Volcaria family. Are you Lucius, the one who was brought by my son here as his special guest?"

Lucius didn't know about this special guest thing but he could see that he was one, seeing the treatnt Magnus gave to him.

Lucius could also feel pressure when he faced Ragnar, so he imdiately tried to calm down and answer, "Yes, sir. I am the one who Magnus brought here as a special guest."

Ragnar imdiately scanned Lucius and said, "I see, you are quite young to be brought here by my son. But before we waste ti talking, let's see what you're truly capable of."

Lucius, who heard it, imdiately beca worried and imdiately shouted, "Wait a minute, Patriarch. I must clarify that I am not yet a beast tar. Testing now would-"

But Ragnar already began and could not hear what Lucius said. Ragnar then imdiately unleashed his aura, which imdiately attacked Lucius.

The pressure of his aura imdiately pressed on Lucius, which made him imdiately kneel down. Thankfully, he was different than other newly awakened tar so he could hold on a bit but still he was a bit angry toward Ragnar.

Ragnar, who watched Lucius only kneel down imdiately, smirked, "Not too bad. Most would collapse outright under this pressure. Yet you... you only kneel. Interesting."

Lucius, who heard Ragnar's praises, imdiately smiled as he said, "Thank you... for your praise, Patriarch. I strive to et expectations." But the mont he said that, he imdiately passed out, as he could not endure the pressure and heat anymore.

Savra, who was Magnus' mother, could only sigh when he saw the current situation. She imdiately stood up and went toward Ragnar. At first she was smiling and asking him, "Ragnar, what are you doing now?"

Ragnar, who looked at Savra, who was smiling, only said, "I am just testing him. He was our son's special guest after all, so I need to know his power."

Savra, who heard it, imdiately beca angry and smacked the back of Ragnar's head, which shocked him. Ragnar, who was shocked, imdiately turned to Savra, "What was that for?"

Savra, who was still angry, imdiately glared at him and said, "Don't you really know what you have done just now to him?"

Ragnar, who still didn't know his mistake, imdiately answered, "I am just testing him. What is wrong with it? I just want to see how powerful our son's guest is."

Savra could only sighed after hearing him say, "Don't you rember what Magnus says to us when he talks about his special guest?"

Ragnar, who heard her, imdiately felt confused. "Doesn't he say that he has invited a special guest and ask us to test him?"

Savra then sighed again, "Yes, indeed. Magnus has asked us to test him but he also says that his special guest is just a boy who has just fled from a beast tide and also he is a newly awakened boy so he was not strong at all."

Ragnar could only frown after being scolded by his wife. "But... this is what we have always done when we have a special guest, aren't we?"

Savra then beca even more angry after hearing Ragnar's answer, "We indeed have tested our special guests this way but they were usually powerful people but this ti the special guest was only a newly awakened boy so don't you think that using the sa test was appropriate?"

Ragnar could only frown after hearing it and taking in defeat. "Fine. It seems that I am a bit too harsh with him."

Savra only gave a sigh and imdiately said, "Let's bring him to our guest chamber to rest first. We will test him again "my way" when he wakes up."

Ragnar could only nod after hearing it and Savra imdiately instructed the maids that were standing near the door, "Prepare a new comfortable room for him to rest first."

The maids imdiately nodded, "At once, Madam." The maids then imdiately lifted up Lucius and brought him to his new room.

Ragnar, who saw the maids who were leaving, began to follow them with Savra. Ragnar also said with a small voice, "I still think that a little strength wouldn't hurt."

As Ragnar carefully picked up Lucius and followed Savra and the maid out of the hall, he couldn't help but murmur, "I still think a little strength wouldn't hurt…"

Savra, who heard it, imdiately glared at him and said, "Do you want to get smack again, Ragnar? Does my smack earlier is too weak for you so you want it again?"

Ragnar, who heard it, could only shake his head as he followed Savra silently from behind. Although he was a patriarch, his wife was way stronger than him, and it made him a bit afraid of her.
