Kana was slowly sneaking her way out of the city, using the night as a cover. Her senses were on high alert, scanning everything that crossed her vision. Jolly was still knocked out her shoulder drooling like an idiot.
'I wonder if Jay is alright....no, I am sure he is, he is a smart guy, he will find a way. As for , i need sothing to escape from here-' Her eyes landed on sothing that made her smirk mischievously.
She cautiously approached the vehicle, noticing that the door was left unlocked. She looked up at the building beside the car and even though she was outside, she could sll it, a disgusting sll.
'argh, why do people do such things? its so nasty. I was going to feel bad stealing this car but now not so much.'
She threw Jolly on the other seat, her limp body slamming against the dashboard. Kana didn't even bat an eye, she simple sat on the worn seats and began looking for the keys but they were nowhere inside the car.
'guess i will use the old fashion way.'
She hot wired it and drove off, not showing any rcy to the gas pedal. The night air hit from the window but she did not react, her eyes stared in front but she looked out of it, as if thinking about sothing that is weighing on her. Her eyes glanced at Jolly, her limp body still leaning against the dashboard...she didn't bother helping her.
'I let my emotions go out of control....what was i thinking?...but hearing her talk so badly about him like that, i just couldn't stand it, not after everything he went through. I am sorry Jay, i hope you will move on from all this.'
The city was slowly disappearing from view, there was not turning back now, only going forward.

Back in the forest, Yenna lay on the ground, sweaty and out of breath while Wren looked perfectly fine, staring at her with a smug expression. Yenna took this as a challenge and jumped towards Wren, trying to catch her but all that t her was a tail to the face.
'dammit, was she always this strong? or is it because i lost my power...no, I can't tell, she is definitely growing stronger...... This is not working, at this rate, he might leave behind.'
Wren seeing her sulking face wanted to be happy but there was sothing more important than that, this girl was soone that helped her master so there was a part of her that was happy she was around.
"prr prr prr prr...prr...prr..prr"
Yenna looked up, seeing Wren doing a pattern of poses and looking at her to try. "What are you doing, are you feeling itchy?"
"PRRR!!"
"S-Sorry, i don't understand-" The more she looked at the patterns, the more she began to understand. It was like a dance, each move flowed into the next with a deliberate rhythm. Yenna furrowed her brow, struggling to make sense of what Wren was trying to convey. The poses weren't random; there was a deliberate cadence, almost a silent language, behind them
"W-Wait, could this be?" She got on all fours and attempted the moves, although it was hard for her stiff body to keep up, she tried her best and she could tell just a few minutes, this was an incredible training thod.
'Amazing, my muscles and joints are screaming in pain but every ti i hit the pattern correctly, i can feel sothing aligning in . With each pattern, I am beginning to look less stupid and almost feline.'
This continued on for a while and Yenna was finally seeing so improvents, enough to give her hope that she won't be abandoned.

Deeper into the forest was Vell, seating on top of a tree, observing a group of little monsters that look like they are made for cuddling instead of fighting. He stared at them for a while, thinking about taming one but he also didn't want to waste a slot.

He jumped down, scaring the slis but they didn't run away, they are species that is know to be friendly so they approached him, rubbing against his skin and at first he was smiling, squishing their soft bodies. But then he felt sothing entering his body, it was the sa corrupted mana as the figure.
"shit!"
He jumped back up the tree and began ditating, thinking his mana was about to go on a rampage but that was not the case this ti around. The mana entered his body like water flowing in a river.
"Huh, I am not hurting? this....it feels good, what is going on?" He touched his chest, feeling the mana gather around the core, steady and calm.
"Maybe i should-" He cut himself off, letting the mana enter his core and he was nervous but nothing happened. "Haha....guess the core is working fine...." the thought off him being called non human and played his mind. "whatever, let's try that one more ti."
He leaped back down but before he could touch the ground, a massive snake grabbed him and threw him away into the trees.
