"Can I expect so help in the experint today from our genius student?" Aiden nudged , and I glared at him, knowing all too well he was teasing just like Henry.
Ha, this situation was too funny for them because they didn’t know what I was going through. I bet if they would have this kind of funny reaction when they find out the teacher they keep teasing about is soone who can rip my head just because a rogue like was studying in the human University.
Without replying to him, I turned to face the podium of the laboratory where Shadow stood with his back to us as he wrote the nas of so of the experints that we needed to perform.
Look at him acting like a professional teacher. I swear if it was an acting platform, he would’ve earned himself a role or sothing kind of trophy already.
"Since most of you don’t like to experint that much and would probably try to seek ’help’ from your friends, you will do experints in this order," Shadow said, his gaze landing straight on Aiden.
I didn’t need a genius to tell what exactly happened just now.

Wouldn’t it be considered an illegal use of his powers if he is using them to eavesdrop on humans’ conversations? Why was it when I do it, it’s a sin, but when he does it, it’s alright? This was unfair treatnt at its peak, I swear.

Don’t get wrong. I wasn’t actually looking forward to having him look at or sothing. It was just a little strange. I an, from all the interactions we had so far, his actions were a little questionable.
What if sothing was brewing in that cunning head of his? I can’t take any risk with this man for sure.
Though he looks all harmless when he isn’t glaring, I swear there is a beast inside him that’s just waiting to prey on .
’He looks hot even in a lab coat. Don’t you think?’ Aurora asked .
’Yeah, he is indeed -’ I paused before glaring at Aurora who chuckled at as she caught ogling at him once again.
’Sotis I really wonder what kind of joy you feel in annoying ,’ I whispered before looking at the experint that I was supposed to perform according to my roll number.
"We got different experints," Aiden scowled.
I looked at him helplessly.
Poor guy. Probably if he hadn’t ntioned taking my help earlier, all of us wouldn’t be suffering like this.
Then again, was it really our fault?
"So, are you coming?" Aiden asked after so ti.
"Coming to where?" I whispered while swirling the solution in the beaker as I placed it over the Bunsen burner.
"To the party," Aiden looked at with confusion.
But seriously, I don’t rember what kind of party he was really talking about.
"Girl, don’t tell you forgot about the party. Didn’t I tell you that my dad was organizing a party and calling the elite group of the state to expand his business? I told you I would feel alone at a party like that and you said you would be there to accompany . Rember?" Aiden said.
"Oh, that... how could I forget about it?" I chuckled awkwardly even when I had really forgotten.
This thing with Alpha Maverick and his beta was taking too much of my thoughts these days.
"I will be there. Just text the date and ti," I said but Aiden shook his head.
He looked like he was about to say sothing, but stopped at the last minute, and I was about to ask him what it was when I felt Shadow’s presence behind us.
"Don’t hold the beaker like this. It will burn your hand in the long run," Shadow said before he tapped the slab to tell he wanted to put the beaker down.
I placed the beaker on the slab, and he showed how to do it properly.
Wow, what a professional. Look at him acting like he knew it all. I am sure he was just trying to interrupt my conversation with Aiden because how can I, a she-wolf, talk to a human male?
Not wanting to extend the matter too much, I nodded in understanding, pretending to be an obeying diligent student before copying his stance.
But my pupils dilated when I realized he was indeed right.
"Thank you," I turned to face him and he nodded at with a soft genuine smile, the smile beautiful enough to take your breath away, and I quickly looked away.
Now I feel guilty for questioning his knowledge. What the hell? Who asked him to smile at like that? I scowled.
"Also, next ti all the girls are supposed to tie their hair. We don’t want any accidents to happen, do we?" Shadow said, his gaze landed on my long hair that though tied in a ponytail was still landing on my hand.
"Hey, can you help out then up in a bun?" I asked as I saw Shadow leaving.
Seeing Aiden lost in his experints, I was about to speak again when I felt Shadow’s presence behind .
"How should I do it exactly?" Shadow asked, and I froze in my place when his fingers touched the nape of my neck to collect all the hair in his hand.
I am sure the way my heart skipped a beat before starting to beat at the pace of a bullet train, he was able to hear it all.
"I...uh, just hold the base and twist them," I said, cursing my luck.
Why do my hands have to be full at this ti only? And why the hell did I ask Aiden to do it in the first place? I could’ve just waited till the titration was done.
Sotis I feel Dylan is right. I indeed invite problems my way.
After hearing my instructions, he stepped forward, his chest almost touching my back, and I didn’t miss the way his abdon touched my lower back either.
Heat crept up my neck when I realized what kind of position we were standing in and my hands turned sweaty.
At this point, I was really thankful that Aiden and I were standing in the last row with standing in the corner because I don’t think I would’ve been able to face everyone if they had seen like this.
"How do I secure them there?" Shadow asked, bringing out of my obscene thoughts.
Yes. I was having so obscene thoughts. And don’t bla for that. It was all because I was bestowed with a lusty fake wolf.
’Hey!’ Aurora complained, and I rolled my eyes at her.
"There is a hair clutch in my pocket," I said, and he humd in my ears before stepping even closer to to place his hand inside my lab coat’s pocket.
"I don’t find any," he whispered in my ears, and I swear his lips touched my earlobe.
Was he taking advantage of the situation? I wanted to ask but controlled my emotions.
"Check the other one," I whispered, feeling sensual myself for so unknown reason.
"I found it," He said when he checked my left pocket and placed the clutch on my hair.
"Thank you," I said before adding another salt to the liquid.
"Be careful with nitrates," He said, and I humd, sighing in relief when I noticed that he was actually quite respectful about doing the task when he could’ve clearly used that opportunity to press himself into and feel more.
Maybe he wasn’t as much of a bad guy as I make him to be.
’Then again, are we really satisfied that he wasn’t as much of a bad guy? Maybe deep down, we wanted him to press hard against our back, probably feel our back with his front, our skin, lift us and have us wrap our legs around his torso before kissing the hell out of our -’ Aurora started speaking, making widen my eyes as I started to feel a little aroused because of all the images she was portraying in my head.
Damn it! Shadow was standing just a couple of inches away from ! He would sll my arousal for sure. And did I have any explanation for why I was getting aroused in the middle of a practical?
’Aurora, you -’ I started, but before I could complete my sentence, I widened my eyes when I slt it.

I looked up at Shadow and judging from his reaction, I knew he could sll it too.
The sll was coming from the storage room!
"Everyone, run out of the laboratory imdiately!" Shadow shouted, and I looked around hurriedly.
Who the hell would try sothing like this?
