VALENCIA’S POV
I couldn’t believe it.
My hand instinctively reached for my abdon, the thought of having another life inside both exciting and scaring .
I was pregnant. There was a baby inside . How big was it already? Was I straining my baby when I was training so much? What if the baby tried to communicate with , and I couldn’t understand?
Wait. What if I screw up as a mother? With everything going on around ... no... I shouldn’t think negatively.
’Congratulations, Valencia,’ Aurora smiled at , jumping around inside my head space on her paws, and I chuckled inwardly.
"Congratulations to you too, Aurora," Tears brimd my eyes as a sob left my mouth.
"I will try to beco the best mom. I promise you," I said to my baby, wiping the rogue tears.
Wait. Soone else deserves to know this news more than anyone in this world.
I pulled out my phone to call Maverick.
I was about to dial the number when a thought struck ...
No. I shouldn’t tell him sothing so big over the phone. I can’t miss his first reaction to hearing he would beco a father.
Just a couple of days ago, he was joking about wanting at least three kids with .
I still couldn’t believe it.
"What is wrong with our Luna? Why is no one answering us? Do you know whose woman she is?" I heard Liam’s enraged voice from outside the cabin, and a chuckle left my mouth as the doctor looked at helplessly.
"Sorry, Miss. I didn’t know you were Luna. My apologies for not showing my respect earlier," The doctor said, and I waved my hand at him.
I asked the doctor to let those people inside, and the trio, along with the security chief, looked at with anticipatory eyes.
"I am fine. There is nothing to worry about," I said.
The security chief left shortly after ensuring everything with the doctor.
I had specifically asked the doctor not to reveal the good news to anyone because I wanted to do it myself.
"If everything is fine, why did you faint, Luna? This doesn’t make sense. Earlier, when you used to faint earlier, at least the doctor had a good reason for it. How can they say nothing is wrong? They are not qualified to treat you. Let’s go to a different hospital," Liam said one after the other, not even giving the chance to explain anything to him.
I shook my head at him.
"Can you calm down? There is indeed sothing happening, but I want you guys to promise not to tell Alpha Maverick. I want to be the one to tell him first," I said.
Liam looked at Lovely and Charlotte before nodding.
"But you have to promise that you will tell him today itself. We can’t hide the truth from him for long," Liam said.
I chuckled.
"I will tell him the first thing I et him, stupid," I said.
They sighed in relief before looking at with concerned eyes, and I bit my lower lip.
A wave of nervousness spread across . Then again, I will have to practice it, or how will I tell this to my man?
I gulped before taking a deep breath.
"I... I am pregnant," I whispered.
I looked up when no one reacted. Did they not hear it?
I licked my bottom lip and was about to speak again when Liam widened his eyes and pulled in for a hug.
"You are pregnant! Oh my god, our alpha will be a father, you will be a mother, and our pack will have an heir soon. Our alpha kid will walk around with his tiny limbs and order us around. I am so happy!" Liam hugged tightly, his hug throwing utterly off-guard because I didn’t expect his reaction to be this strong.
"Hey, Liam. She is our Luna," Lovely reminded him, and the guy left awkwardly before scratching the back of his head.
"I am sorry. I was just so happy that I couldn’t contain it. Please don’t tell Alpha that I nearly squeezed you, or the protective guy will make train harder for a week," Liam said.
I shook my head at him before looking at Lovely and Charlotte, who had beaming smiles on their faces.
They hugged one by one while Lovely placed her hand on my abdon.
"Baby, I am your mumma’s caretaker. Co out soon, and I will take care of you. We will have loads of fun," Lovely said, and everyone chuckled.
"We just found out she is pregnant. How can you expect the baby to co out already," Charlotte said.
I was about to stand when Charlotte quickly held my hand.
"You have got to be careful now," She said, and I felt my heart skip.
Do I need to be this careful? What about the training? Will it affect the baby? I won’t do anything that would put my baby’s life at risk, but...
Many thoughts started to swirl inside my head.
"Stop it, Charlotte. You are scaring our Luna. It’s not that severe. You just need to be cautious of your als and take frequent rests. Don’t patrol won go into labor? You know how our Luna is. Your words will only make her more anxious." Lovely’s words provided with so comfort, and I looked at her gratefully.
’Are you excited?’ Aurora asked , her expression a little more serious than before.

I was about to ask what she was trying to say when Lovely held my hand.
"Is it okay to go to the royal palace directly?" She asked.
I nodded at her.
Though I have only t Axile a couple of tis, for so reason, my gut feeling told that the guy was believable, and that is what I was going to do.
"Let’s go to the royal palace. Maverick will co there straight, no?" I asked.
I wasn’t in a hurry earlier, but now I was seriously hoping for him to complete his work soon so I could et him and tell him this amazing news.
