VALENCIA’S POV
"Are you ready to blow off so steam?" Tracy shouted as we parked our vehicles in the parking area.
Henry shook his head at her before swinging his hand around her shoulders, leading her and Leen inside.
I followed them but stopped when soone held my hand, making wince with the sudden impact.
"What is it?" I asked.
Aiden imdiately removed his hand from mine before looking at my abdon.
"What’s wrong with you? It’s been three weeks since I’ve observed you. Did you get hurt sowhere?" he asked .
I sighed.
It was true. I was hurt, but no, it wasn’t because of that accident that took place long ago. I healed long ago. This sourness was due to the extra training I was doing these days to participate in the werewolf yearly assessnt.
Yes. I was still serious about it. And since Dylan was here, he wasn’t cutting any slack.
Even today, after we had a hearty talk about my past and the questions I wanted to ask, we went into training mode, and it almost felt like he was taking out so kind of anger in .

His moves were sharp and slick. I could barely dodge them, resulting in him beating up quite a few tis.
Luckily, he followed my no-face rule, where he wasn’t allowed to do anything to my face, or I am sure the black and blue bruises would’ve been visible on my face, too.
I shuddered at the re mory.
Thanks for reminding of the pain, Aiden. I wanted to say to him but just chuckled in return.
"Rember how I knocked one of your n in the ring?" I asked Aiden, who nodded his head at .
"How do you think that happens? My guardian is a little rough on when it cos to self-defense training. Because of exams, I have been feeling low, and he didn’t cut any slack," I answered.
I could see relief wash over his face, and I was sure he was worried that I might get hurt over sothing or another.
"Don’t worry. I am not involved with any illegal activities if that’s what you are worried about," I said, and the guy rolled his eyes.
"Is that so? Why does it appear so hard to believe?" He smirked, and I pushed him away jokingly as we followed the rest of the group inside the club.
The music was blaring in my ears loudly, and just like all the ti, I pulled out two cotton earbuds and placed them in my ears to drown the sounds a bit. So people might wonder why even bother to go to a club if I have to do things like this, but what can I say? I want to enjoy myself with my human friends without blasting my ears or my wolf going deaf. This was really a negative aspect of sharp werewolf hearing.
Aiden looked at what I was doing and chuckled. He saw doing this earlier, too, and I swear it took my entire night to explain to him that I had sensitive ears and wasn’t so kind of weirdo.
"You do know you are one of a kind, right?" He asked, and I flared my tongue at him.
"Hey, what are you guys doing over there? Join us for the dance," Henry shouted over the loud music, and I was about to move to the dance floor when my phone vibrated.
With a sigh, I excused myself and walked out of the back door, smiling when I saw who was calling.
I had sent them a ssage to call back for a new mission around two hours ago because I knew they would be busy with work, and I didn’t want to disturb them. It looks like they finally got the ti to address their boss’s new needs.
"Hello?" I picked up the call, and the man sighed.
"So you have finally decided you want Tyler out of your way?" Tory asked, and a chuckle left my mouth.
Don’t my people know too well? This wasn’t exactly a good thing, but what can we say?
"Why do you always assu that I want to get Tyler out of my way and that it’s my ultimate goal?" I asked, amused, and Tory humd.
So clinking sounds ca from his background, and I couldn’t help but chuckle. It has always been like this. Whenever Theo does any work, he ensures the entire world can hear him do that.
"Don’t tell Theo is washing dishes," I asked.
I could feel Tory’s amusent through the call and a sigh left my mouth.
"I have two tasks for you this ti," I sobered.
Tory imdiately called Theo, but I heard so shuffling sounds again.
"We are ready," Theo said.
I smiled at their eagerness. I bagged a lottery ticket when I found them.
"First, I want to know how many people we have recruited so far," I asked them, leaning on the railings.
Clubbing wasn’t exactly my kind of thing. The only reason I do that is to mingle between my friends without disappointing them. Now, people call it peer pressure, but I call it socializing. Why? Because I don’t stop inside the club for long. I just show my face to them to let them know I ca to enjoy it with them.
"You don’t need to worry about the number of mbers we have with us. We are ready for all kinds of missions. Tell us what we need to do," Tory said, and I explained to them how Tyler threatened by exposing my identity to the most potent alpha and making things hard for . And since he was on it, I wanted them to ensure he stays busy at his pack-with-pack business and doesn’t have ti to co to this Alpha’s et.
Or better, spread so kind of ugly rumors about Alpha Tyler. They used to love spreading rumors about how I loved sleeping with n and had opened my legs for everyone, and those bodies used to love exaggerating and supporting Matilda, no? I wanted to see how they would like the taste of their own dicine.
I wanted to see them suffer little by little.
Killing Alpha Tyler was easy. There was no doubt about it. Though he was an alpha, it wasn’t exactly that hard. The kind of pack security Hazel Moon pack had, I could do it alone, but there was no fun in killing them. I was hesitating earlier in the na of kinship, but now that I know they were never my birth parents in the first place, the little sympathy I would have felt for them was all gone, and now I was full of pure rage for them.
"Let’s say we are going with the rumors option too. Can you tell us to what level you want us to humiliate him?" Tory asked, and I humd, unsure.
I didn’t know how to do it. And for them to be alphas and still asking this, I couldn’t help but chuckle awkwardly.
’Shouldn’t you at least feel a little sympathy for him? You guys are alphas, too," I said, and Theo chuckled.
"It’s a nice way of saying you have no idea and want to leave matters in our hands," He said, and I nervously bit the inside of my cheeks.
I just didn’t want the things to backfire and for them to get into trouble. Earlier, I used to care about the council only because Dylan and Jonathan always had so tab on on what I was doing all the ti, but these days, I have this weird feeling that sobody else is watching too, which was unsettling. And if we keep these two aside, how can we forget the royals who strangely want to hire again.
"Well, you can say that. And while you are at it. Can you guys look into all the packs destroyed around 18-19 years ago? I an the packs who went under attack and nearly had all their people either flee away or killed," I asked.
There was a mont of silence on the other side, and I wondered if they could hear . However, what they asked next caught completely off-guard.
"So you don’t belong to the Hazel moon pack?" Theo asked, and I scratched my forehead. Was I making it that obvious? Damn, their alpha intelligence.
"Why would you say that? It’s about a girl who is living with . I want to find out a little about her birth. She says she was orphaned right at birth, and the only thing she was told at the orphanage was that her pack was under attack," I lied fluently.
I could hear Tory and Theo sigh on the other side, which confused .
’What is with this sighing? Why are you guys so relaxed that I am not soone else’s daughter or pack mber?" I asked.
"Well, that would’ve given us indirect permission to go against your parents. But guess we have to control our anger again," Tory said, and I chuckled at them.
They surely know how to act naughty.
After talking to them for so more ti, I ended the call with a sigh and went inside the club.
