"These souls are truly delicious! These souls are excellent! You've done well. I want more souls. Tell , what reward do you desire? Love, longevity, or dreams?" The massive, grotesque demon whispered, seducing the ignorant wizards to continue offering souls.
In the eyes of the demon, humans were nothing more than reptiles, albeit delicious ones. Otherwise, demons and humans would have no interaction at all.
"We want to learn more powerful dark magic!" One wizard stepped forward and spoke.
"Very well, but while mastering this dark magic, your bodies are too fragile to withstand the power. You won't be able to unleash the true potential of the magic, and if you want to learn higher-level dark magic, you need to beco stronger or possess a strong body!" The hideous demon explained with its hoarse voice, cunningly deceiving them.
"Sir, what should we do then?" a wizard respectfully asked, seemingly unaware that the demons they summoned were deceitful and constantly looking to exploit their remaining value.
Chris used the hidden magic gem and hid himself, observing from a distance.
He felt a bit disdainful towards the wizards of this world. What kind of bullshit wizards were they? They were being manipulated. How could they even be called wizards? It's laughable.
Watching the gathered wizards in the distance, it was clear that their combat abilities were not strong. So wizards excelled at summoning small demons for battles, while others specialized in dark magic, mostly leaning towards curses.
Adding unfavorable states to opponents, reducing their movent speed, making them feel nauseous, and so on. Compared to mages, the tactics of wizards were a bit underhanded!

The demons demanded a large number of souls that had endured suffering and tornt, which happened to be the expertise of the wizards. They would capture commoners, torture them, and kill them at their most painful monts to obtain decent souls.
This may sound heartless, but in chaotic tis, human lives were worthless. Amidst the chaos of war and turmoil, who would bother investigating an individual's fate?
