Chapter 80: Violent Raid
Boom!
The closed door burst open. A group of brutish Black-tiger Gang mbers rushed inside.
anwhile, hundreds of gangster blockaded around Courtyard 49. Even a fly could not get out, let alone a human.
Seeing this, Tiger Lyu couldn’t help nodding his head in satisfaction. They were all elites in the gang, experienced and sharp-witted.
Tiger Lyu did not rush inside. Although their target was just a boy, he knew it clearly that this boy was by no ans easy to deal with. Otherwise the employer wouldn’t pay such a strikingly high price of a spiritual tool and a thousand silver coins.

Tiger Lyu suddenly frowned. All of his subordinates had already rushed into the courtyard, but there was not a single sound of fighting.

Tiger Lyu’s face turned sullen and asked, “Have you searched all the places?”
The subordinate said indignantly, “All have been searched. Not a single copper coin has been found, let alone a man! I think the boy had already heard the news and fled early before the situation got worse!”
At this point, all the people who had rushed into Courtyard 49 returned, look extrely disappointed.
Seeing this, Tiger Lyu suddenly sensed sothing ominous. He reprimanded them coldly, “You, a bunch of useless trash! useless Go kill all the scouts surveilling here. How dare they impede my great course!”
“Yes, Gang Master!”
More than a dozen overmatches took the order and left imdiately.
“Gang Master, it seems the target has run away. We wasted all day on a wild-goose chase.” Soone sighed.
Tiger Lyu’s face was overcast with rage. He ferociously brought a group of subordinates here, only to find an empty house. He felt very sulky.
So this was it? Mission failed? Tiger Lyu felt extrely unwilling to admit it.

Tiger Lyu was so raged that he wanted to split this useless guy into two pieces. He gnashed the teeth in anger, “You damn it! Tell what the hell happens, now! What are you waiting for? For to kill you?”
The scout drew a long face and quavered, “Our…our base is raided!”
“What!”
Tiger Lyu got so thunderstruck that his face changed dramatically.
The other gang mbers all looked extrely sullen with the sa idea in their minds, “How dare anyone attack while we are all out!”
Who was so audacious and dared to raid Black Tiger Gang in the civilian area!
“Fuck, soone is courting death! He intends to raid our base when we went out in full force!”
“Could it be Savage Hu from the Bamboo Gang? He is always hostile to us. He is very likely the culprit!”
“Fuck, Savage Hu is courting death!”
All were cursing nonstop in rage. It was such a ss, which indicated that all the gang mbers, after all, were just bandits, an untrained rabbled that could never be compared to well-disciplined armies.
“Shut up!”
A shouting like the thunder burst out all of a sudden and soon one could hear a pin drop.
Tiger Lyu’s face distorted out of extre wrath, ferocious with killing intent. He shouted, “Hurry up! What the fuck are you waiting for? Go back to kill the enemy! Are you waiting for our base to be completely destroyed?”
Everyone suddenly realized the seriousness of the matter, as if wakening from a dream.

Back to the point when Tiger Lyu led his n to Courtyard 49.
In a spacious area in the southwest of the civilian area, there stood a magnificent building like a castle that rose straight from the ground. Compared with the cramped and shabby houses nearby, it stood out like a triton among minnows.
This was the Black Tiger Gang’s base where the ordinary people usually did not dare to approach.
It was dark outside. However, the base of Black Tiger Gang was ablaze with lights as if in broad daylight. Tiger Lyu had led away five hundred gang mbers for the mission; however, there were still several hundred gangsters guarding the base.
Lin Xun hid carefully on the roof of a house on the opposite side of the towering base. While watching the Black Tiger Gang’s nest that was several hundred ters away, he whispered, “Is everything valuable hidden well at ho?”

Shia Zhi’s voice sounded erratic and ethereal in the darkness. Even with his soul power, Lin Xun could not perceive her specific position!

The majority of Black Tiger Gang mbers were ordinary people except for a small number of practitioners. In addition, Tiger Lyu led all elites of the gang out so that their base was too fragile to resist such an attack.
It was just a round of arrow shooting that made most of mbers panic and flee disconcertingly. By contrast, a little part of practitioners remained calm, realizing that it was apparently an enemy attack.
These practitioners were hiding and ready to fight back.
They knew it clearly that as long as they resisted for a while, the Gang Master Tiger Lyu would inevitably co back when he heard the news. Then, no matter how many enemies ca, they would suffer the most brutal counterattack!
“Listen! Hide yourself carefully. Kill everyone who intrudes!” A tall and burly middle-aged man with whiskers shouted in a suppressed tone.
He was muscular and extrely powerful, holding a pair of axes and standing behind a huge stone pillar like an iron tower.
From this position, he could watch the main entrance.
At the main entrance, the fire was raging. Before long, a little, delicate black figure paced out of the flas.
She held a white bone spear in hand, and wore a black wind coat. The brim of her hood covered most part of her face, revealing only a small part of her white and delicate chin. She looked very mysterious in the night with the flas burning around.
A little girl?
The burly man frowned. He never expected the enemy would be a little girl.
But soon he woke up from a trance. His eyes looked savage. No matter who she was, she must die as long as she dared to break in!
Shia Zhi seed to be indifferent to everything around her. She went straight ahead and soon entered the hall although her paces seed to be slow.
When she walked beside a stone pillar, there ca a sudden loud roar—
“Go to hell!”
A pair of huge axes that looked extrely sharp ca right to Shia Zhi’s head. However, when the axes shot down, Shia Zhi had long disappeared.
The burly big man’s pupils contracted sharply out of surprise and fear. And he just got a sinking and dangerous feeling, but it was too late.
Pu!
A white bone spear penetrated right into his chest from the back, causing a great hole in his body and shattering his heart.
Imdiately, the burly man crashed to the ground, his eyes bulging violently, and he died with extre grievances.
Then Shia Zhi disappeared again. “Lord Liu is dead!”
“Who is that little girl? Why is she so horrifying?”
“Where is she? Why did she disappear?”
At this ti, the practitioners hiding in different places in the hall all felt shocked and chilled when they saw the burly man was killed by just one blow!
That was so terrifying!
They might think it was an illusion if they hadn’t seen it with their own eyes.
They didn’t dare to move anymore and all sharpened their vigilance. They prayed the Gang Master to hurry back, otherwise they were afraid that they couldn’t resist long.
“Ah!”
There ca a sudden scream. A practitioner hiding in the beam of the house fell to the ground, and a bloody hole appeared in his throat, blood spurting appallingly from it.
This scene stupefied the other practitioners so much that they all trembled involuntarily. One of their fellows had been killed before they could even notice!
Was that little girl a supernatural being?

Soon, the wall on one side of the hall collapsed with dust spattering. A corpse lay in the debris, its bones broken and its flesh mangled.
Seeing this, the practitioners who had been hiding in other places could no longer bear this horror. They jumped out in roars. Daring not to hide separately, they began to gather together.
It was so ultimately horrible. The enemy was invisible and undetectable without a trace. However, as ti went by, their fellows were killed one by one quickly.
No one could bear it.
About a dozen of practitioners all got together and guarded against all directions with vigilance and fear. The distant firelight flickered erratically on their ferocious face.
Where the hell did the enemy hide?
