Tyson looked at a strange kind of robot that had just slid out from under the bed. It had a round head, a square body, and small limbs. A green symbol glowed softly on its chest.

The robot automatically scanned his injuries and began treating him using what looked like either magic—or so form of advanced science. Tyson wasn't sure what he was witnessing, nor did he care in that mont. He could feel sleep overtaking him.

"I'll co back to... you," he murmured as he drifted off.

When he woke up, seven hours had already passed. He was no longer injured—as if the robot had perford so kind of miracle.

He looked at his hand, where a bruise had been earlier. It was completely gone.

"How the hell is this possible? There's not even a scratch," he whispered in disbelief. "only if we get this guy inside the map"

"Hmm, that would be aweso," Edward murmured as he read a newspaper, sitting on the couch beside Tyson's bed.

"Where did you get that?" Tyson asked, confused.

It was a newspaper from Earth—and as far as he knew, they had left everything behind. Even the thing Tyson was holding had been left on the streets… God knows if Nancy had seen it or not.

The Ring...

"I asked a favor from Ryuk," Edward chuckled. "I told Steve to slip a few newspapers inside the books he was transporting."

"We can do that too?" Tyson sat up.

"Yeah, but it's one request per round," Edward replied, looking up at his son. "Next ti, kid. For now, you better get ready—we have to head out."

Edward stood up, leaving the newspaper on Tyson's couch, and headed out of the room.

Tyson watched his father leave, then walked over to the couch to take a look at the newspaper.

There it was—the horror people felt after the blip...

The so-called phenonon where 100 people had gone missing, and their loved ones were now frantically searching for them.

With taglines like "Start of the Disaster" and others even calling it a glorified event:"Tournants of Planets" a.k.a....

Battle of Planets

Tyson headed out of his room just as he saw Captain Elena waiting for him, leaning of the hard tal wall. She smiled the mont she saw him.

"Hi there, Sergeant," she said, taking a step forward. "Feeling well?"

Tyson nodded briefly, looking at her. "Yeah... I'm fine. Totally fine."

She placed her hand under his chin, gently tilting his face to the side to check his jaw—where she had previously seen bruises. "You're pretty healed up, I see."

"We are," Lara said suddenly, appearing beside Tyson and grabbing his hand in hers."Thanks for your concern, Captain."

Lara gave a forced smile.

Elena looked at Lara without stepping back, holding her ground.

As if an invisible battle was unfolding between them—one Tyson was completely unaware of.

"Cadet Lara," Elena said with a small smile, taking a step back. "Are you perhaps the Sergeant's girlfriend?"

Lara's cheeks turned pink as she stuttered, "N-No..."

"No, we're friends," Tyson added with a smile. "I do have a girlfriend back ho, though."

Elena raised a brow at that. "You do?" she asked, then smiled. "Is she a civilian?"

"Yeah," Tyson replied. "Does it matter?"

"Oh honey, it does," Elena said with a smirk, winking at Lara before turning to walk off. Her blonde hair waved behind her as she headed toward the hall chamber.

"What does she an?" Tyson asked, puzzled.

"Forget her," Lara said, tightening her grip on his hand. "The work wife position is already taken."

"Huh?" Tyson looked at her, more confused than ever.

Lara smiled sweetly. "Let's go, Senior. We should get moving."

Two big groups had ford—the Rogues and the Rangers. Both sides stood eager, ready to step into the next challenge. The reward of power points had lit a spark in their hearts.

They had seen the so-called "newbies" gain power without casualties. Maybe the terrifying rumors about the tournant were exaggerated after all.

Lara joined her team, slipping into the crowd, while Tyson made his way to the front—where he found Alex being scolded by Edward.

"You're not a kid, Alex," Edward said sharply. "You can't just run off doing whatever you want. Whether you like it or not, you're part of a team. Even if you don't know how to work with them—just stay with them."

Alex lowered his head, silently absorbing the reprimand. The mont he saw Tyson approaching, he rolled his eyes.

Edward's gaze shifted to Tyson imdiately.

"And you too, kid," he said, turning toward him. "You need to understand what it ans to be a leader."

Tyson froze mid-step, regretting his decision to co over. He'd only ant to check on his brother—and maybe Luagh but now he was getting scolded alongside him.

Alex smirked, clearly enjoying the shared misery. As if to say, Finally, its your turn...

"What does that an?" Tyson asked, brows furrowed. "Did I do sothing wrong?"

Edward paused for a long mont before responding, his eyes steady on his son.

"No..." he said finally. "And that's what's stopping you from being a leader."

Tyson looked puzzled, unsure where he went wrong.

"You see, Tyson," Edward continued, "a leader doesn't need to be right all the ti. He needs to have the courage to make decisions—for the good of the team—even when it conflicts with his own moral compass."

Julien remained quiet nearby, his eyes fixed on the screen showing the countdown—just a few minutes left before the next round began.

Edward placed a firm hand on Tyson's shoulder.

"When you step into that arena again, rember this: You're not just fighting for yourself... or your friends. You're fighting for the entire world."

Tyson straightened, his jaw clenched.

"Yes, Dad," he said.

"Yes, Dad," Alex echoed beside him.

For a mont, the two brothers stood side by side—unified in purpose, ready for what was to co.

Then, as Edward turned away, Alex stomped on Tyson's foot, casually.

"Oops, my foot slipped," Alex said with a smug grin.

"Ow!" Tyson jumped. "Asshole!"

Alex only laughed as Tyson limped off, heading back to his team.

Tyson found them gathered and ready. Their previous victory had lit a fire in their hearts, and it showed in their eyes.

"All good?" Tyson asked.

"Yes, boss. I'm ready," Bee said, nodding firmly—as if it was his turn to step up beside Tyson this ti.

Tyson smiled. "Good. Let's beat another level."

Across the room, Mark and Ryuk stood by the tall glass window. Ryuk sat lazily in the window fra, a thick book in hand, while Mark lingered nearby, fidgeting.

"So… you're really not going in again?" Mark asked, lowering his voice.

"Nope," Ryuk replied without looking up. "I got what I wanted. I'm done."

He turned another page."If death's gonna get , it can find right here—reading a book."

"That's one hell of a way to go," Black muttered, voice buzzing from his tallic form.

Mark rolled his eyes. "You two are hopeless."

"Hope?" Black echoed with a snort. "There's no hope in ta-bots. Just destruction, chaos, love, and a few other kings."

Mark raised a brow. "Kings?"

"ta-bot Kings," Black clarified. "I'm Destruction, by the way. Told you that already."

"Yeah, but I still don't get it," Mark muttered. "Forget it. I'm going in. Soone's gotta protect the people back on Earth—unlike you guys."

"Hmm," Ryuk murmured, not even glancing up as he flipped another page.

"Ha! That guy's focused," Black chuckled. "If you had half that focus, we'd be past 100 points by now."

"I am focused," Ryuk replied. "On books."

"I can't argue with that," Black said. Then light lit up. "Hey, let read the last page! I missed it while I was talking to the kid!"

"No. You missed it, you deal with it," Ryuk said calmly.

"Hey! Not fair! Let's go back!" Black protested, but Ryuk remained unmoved, flipping calmly to the next chapter.
