"Hm, so this is the guy Raven fought in the first contest, huh? That’s quite the flashy outfit he’s got on," Aster thought to himself, as he stepped onto the arena, the countdown beginning as he and his opponent took their places.
He was up against Paragon, Raven’s first opponent during the team battle in the forest. Paragon was eyeing Aster warily...after his experience fighting Raven, he was feeling less than confident against another opponent from the sa team.
"It doesn’t look like this guy’s as strong as the scaly one, but I can’t be too careful," He frowned warily.
As the countdown ended, Paragon flew up and got so distance, before his eyes widened in alarm as Aster launched himself straight up towards him with a pressurized telekinetic burst, drawing out his blades and swinging them across.
Paragon zipped across to evade the attack, before charging in towards Aster from the left and driving his knee forward, which slamd against the Telekinetic Zone.
Paragon flew back before veering across as Aster fired out a piercing beam of telekinesis, grazing Paragon’s right bicep and drawing out a trickle of blood, before Paragon zipped up and swooped down at full speed with his fists balled together.
He slamd his fists down onto the top of Aster’s Telekinetic Zone, a sharp burst of force erupting as his fists collided against the force field, Aster barely even budging upon impact.
Aster swung his blades across in Paragon’s direction, firing out a pair of slashing telekinetic waves towards him.
Paragon flew back to evade the slashes, one of them grazing his left side, before lunging forward through the air and driving his right fist towards Aster with all his strength.
He grimaced as his fist collided against Aster’s Telekinetic Zone and failed to break through once again, a shockwave erupting upon impact, before he got blasted away as Aster unleashed an intense telekinetic burst around himself.
As Paragon regained his balance and ca to a stop, Aster raised his right hand towards him, exerting a powerful telekinetic pulling force and dragging Paragon towards him.
Paragon managed to muster enough strength to break free of the pulling force, flying across as Aster flew back down and landed in the middle of the arena, sheathing his blades and stretching his arms up.
"Looks like this guy isn’t strong enough for to use my blades either...well, if I keep proceeding through this tournant, there are definitely opponents against whom that’s bound to change," Aster thought to himself.
"Man, what’s with this world? This guy isn’t as much of a monster as the scaly young man I fought in the forest was, but this telekinetic power of his, I’ve never co across such a powerful form of telekinesis.
One hit made it clear, and every subsequent strike all but confird it...I can’t possibly break through, not even if I struck it with every ounce of strength I’ve got. I doubt he even regards as a threat...and the worst part is that I can’t even say that he’s underestimating , because he’d be right.
This ain’t a good match-up for , there’s nothing I can do to defeat him. He’s waiting for to make the next move...he could likely end this fight in nearly an instant if he wanted to, but he’s opting to take it easy instead. I suppose I have no choice but to keep attacking until he incapacitates ," Thought Paragon, letting out a sigh as he flew out towards the ceiling of the barrier.
He swooped down towards Aster at full speed, drawing back his right fist before letting out a roar of exertion as he closed in and drove his fist down with all his strength.
A deafening crash rang out as his fist collided against the top of Aster’s Telekinetic Zone, a shockwave erupting upon impact, cracks spreading out across the arena around Aster.
As Paragon began to fly back with a grimace, the impact having jarred his hands, his eyes widened as he felt a powerful vice-grip wrap around his hand, holding him in place.
He tried to break free of the grasp, but it was no use, as Aster began steadily dragging him into his Telekinetic Zone, getting his entire body within the force field.
"D-Damn it...," Uttered Paragon through gritted teeth, as Aster applied increasing pressure around his neck, choking him out steadily.
It wasn’t long before he lost consciousness, his body going limp against the grasp of the Telekinetic Zone.
Aster let go of him and stepped back as he set Paragon down onto the floor of the arena, eyeing him closely to make sure he was unconscious, while waiting for Kilzachs to announce the end of the fight.
"Looks like that’s the second match of round two done and dusted, the winner is Aster Stark!"
Aster let out a slow, quiet exhale as he deactivated his Telekinetic Zone, before reappearing by his team, taking a seat and stretching his arms out.
"Nicely done, your opponent seed quite strong," Jules greeted him, taking a seat next to him.
"Yeah, he packed a decent punch, though not quite enough force to break through my Telekinetic Zone. The mont that beca clear, all I had to do was wait for a chance to drag him into my Telekinetic Zone. He seed to be pretty durable too, so it would’ve taken a while to knock him out with regular attacks," Replied Aster, as Raven hopped onto his feet and began warming up, getting ready for the next match.
"Just two matches left in this round, then it’s the semi-finals, and then the final. So, five matches left in total," Surmised Rione, as Raven glanced across towards Ariodred’s team, eyeing his next opponent.
"You fought that guy in the first contest, right, Commander?" Raven asked Jules.
"Yes, I did. He possesses incredible speed, but not much else," She inford him.
"Got it. Alright, looks like I’m up," He replied, as Kilzachs made the announcent...
