Raven let out a deafening, bone-chilling roar before he shot forward with imnse speed, extending out several tendrils from his back and sending them shooting towards the Monster Queen.
The Monster quickly flew up and zipped away to evade the tendrils, before stiffening as one of the tendrils wrapped around its left leg, yanking it back down and slamming it against the ground, a loud crash ringing out upon impact.
It let out a furious roar as it clawed the tendril off its leg and got back onto its feet, before firing out a piercing blast of water towards Raven from its jaws as he closed in on it, inflicting a gash across his left bicep as he tilted his body across to evade a direct hit.
The wound closed up in the blink of an eye, before the Monster Queen quickly rolled out of the way as Raven drove his fist down with imnse force, unleashing a blast of flas from his elbow to propel his arm, which collided against the ground with a devastating impact.
The ground rumbled violently upon impact, deep cracks spreading out as he smashed a small crater into the ground, before turning his gaze around and raising his arm towards the Monster, detaching his forearm and blasting it towards it with a pressurized eruption of flas from his elbow.
His rocket punch slamd onto the middle of the Monster’s stomach before it could react, knocking the wind out of it before Raven shot towards it rapidly, his wings nothing more than a blur as he he zipped forward at full speed.
The Monster Queen quickly veered across to its left as fast as it could, roaring in pain as he gouged out a chunk of its flesh from its right side with his claws as he shot past it, before swinging his arm across to get the blood off his claws and flying up as a streaky bolt of lightning ca shooting towards him, evading it.
He then extended out the claws on his right arm and extended his arm too, whipping it across with imnse force, its claws slicing through the air and shooting towards the Monster, who quickly ducked down and narrowly evaded the slash.
Raven then shot towards it with imnse speed, lightning coating his left fist before he drove it forward as he closed in on the Monster Queen.
He slamd his fist square onto the middle of its torso, eliciting an agonized wheeze from the Monster, blood pouring out of its mouth before it gritted its teeth and grabbed hold of Raven’s arm, digging its claws in before snapping its jaws at his throat.
Raven quickly tilted his head back, the Monster tearing off a layer of skin off the front of his neck before he swung his mouth open and fired out a devastating wave of flas at the Monster, who raised its right foot and whipped it across.
The flas slamd onto the Monster and sent it hurtling back as the hooked claw on its right foot sliced open his stomach, blood pouring out and streaming down his waist, right as the Monster Queen’s back slamd against the barrier.
It growled in anger as it healed itself and shakily got back onto its feet, before quickly racing away as Raven unleashed a massive beam of purple energy towards it, which slamd against the barrier as the Monster narrowly evaded the attack, before turning across as Raven shot towards it again.
Lightning erupted and wrapped around his entire body, crackling intensely, before he snapped his jaws as the Monster swung its arms across at him, his fangs clamping around its forearm and sinking it, before Raven ripped its arm right with a violent jerk and twist of his head, blood spraying out of the stump left around the Monster’s elbow before it roared furiously and slamd its left foot against Raven’s stomach, his feet skidding back several ters across the ground.
"Looks like we made the right call with this barrier, every exchange of blows results in a mini earthquake," Remarked Aster, the area surrounding the barrier shaking and rumbling as the battle continued fiercely, deep cracks all over the ground.
"Yeah, they’d end up tearing the entire city apart if we hadn’t put up the barrier," Nodded Tacitus.
"So, this is Raven’s full power, huh? He’s so powerful, he’s actually overwhelming that Monster," Chid in Rione in awe.
"But he can’t maintain it for long, so he needs to hurry up and finish it off," Responded Jules anxiously.
The Monster then unleashed a blast of flas at Raven, who flew right through it and slamd his fist onto its face, sending it flying back before it twisted its body across to regain its balance, before driving its claws into the ground to bring itself to a halt, blood pouring out of its mouth as several teeth fell out and hit the ground with a clatter.
It then quickly flew up into the air as Raven unleashed a devastating blast of purple energy from his eyes, the Monster Queen narrowly evading the blast before shooting out a bolt of lightning, which Raven batted away with a swing of his arm.
"I see, flas and lightning do not affect you. What are you? You cannot be human, you are far too formidable," Growled the Monster.
"Who can say? Why don’t you get closer and find out for yourself?" Responded Raven, as he cracked his neck with a tilt of his head.
"I am not so foolish as to fall for such an obvious provocation."
"No matter. If you think you’re safe up there, you’re sorely mistaken," Replied Raven, spreading out his wings before he shot up towards the Monster Queen with imnse speed.
The Monster’s eyes widened in alarm as Raven closed in on it in the blink of an eye as he fired out jets of flas from his feet to propel himself, before grabbing its tail as it began to fly out of the way, tightening his grip.
He then twisted his body across sharply, spinning the Monster around before flinging it down towards the ground with imnse force, a deafening crash ringing out as it slamd onto the dirt with a devastating impact, deep cracks spreading out around it as a cloud of dust rose up, a sharp gasp of pain ringing out before Raven ca swooping down at full speed.
He bent his knees as he closed in before driving his feet down with all the power he could generate, the Monster frantically rolling out of the way and just barely evading the stomp, Raven’s feet slamming against the ground with incredible force.
The ground caved in upon impact, forming a deep crater as the entire surrounding area shook and rumbled violently, the sound of glass shattering ringing out as a devastating shockwave burst out, destroying the windows of the buildings in the vicinity.
The Monster dug its claws into the ground to withstand the shockwave, before it leapt towards Raven at full force, clawing at the side of his face and snapping its jaws around his right side before letting go and springing back as Raven drove his elbow down towards it, narrowly evading the strike.
As Raven’s wounds closed up, he extended out several snaking tendrils from his back and sent them zipping out towards the Monster Queen, chasing after it as it flew up into the air and zipped away, swerving and weaving across to try and evade the tendrils, before Raven grew eyes at the ends of the tendrils, which began glowing intensely.
A barrage of powerful beams burst out of the eyes and shot towards the Monster Queen, several of them grazing its body and scorching its scales, before it unleashed a roaring blast of water towards Raven.
Raven swiftly unleashed a swirling fireball from his mouth, a cloud of steam bursting out as the attacks collided, before the Monster ca charging through the cloud and shot towards Raven, forming an ice spike in its right hand and driving it towards his head as it closed in on him.
He grabbed its forearm before it could strike, driving his claws towards its throat as it snapped its jaws around his right shoulder, its fangs sinking in as it tilted its body back, Raven’s claws plunging into the middle of its chest.
It then stiffened up as Raven generated lightning around his claws, electrocuting the Monster before slamming his foot onto its stomach as it began to chomp down harder on his shoulder, tearing his skin and flesh around that spot apart as he kicked it away, sending it hurtling back before it spread out its wings sharply to bring itself to a halt.
"I’ve only got about a minute left before my tranformation wears off. I have the advantage right now, but I just can’t seem to land a finishing blow," Raven thought to himself with a grimace, as he and Monster healed their injuries, eyeing each other warily...
