"K-kill them! Kill them all!" Exclaid Reiss, as he desperately and repeatedly ran his Mana through a Teleport Spell, but to no avail, as he thought to himself frantically, "Damn it, why the hell isn’t it working!? Don’t tell ...Tilda, that treacherous bitch, she must have done sothing to the Spell Cards! That day, when she suggested getting a count of how many Spells we had left, it must have been then!"
As the other mbers of Exalt charged towards the Knights, Celia swiftly stepped forward and raised her hands in their direction, before chanting...
"[Exploding Spear Scattershot]!"
Several rapid explosive projectiles ca shooting out towards the mbers of Exalt, so of them quickly scattering away in alarm before nurous cries of pain rang out, before getting drowned out as the projectiles exploded deafeningly, the area rumbling as several of the Exalt mbers got blown apart to pieces, severed limbs and chunks of flesh flying out as clouds of dust rose up.
The ones who managed to avoid the explosions then took aim and unleashed a barrage of Spells towards the Knights, before Tacitus quickly activated his Nullification Zone Spell, the incoming attacks dissipating as they entered the range of his Spell.
"Spread out and wipe them out, don’t let a single one of them escape!" Commanded Jules, before the Knights swiftly spread out and chased after the scattered mbers of Exalt before they had the chance to regroup.
Colt and Lexia stuck together as they shot towards a group of the Exalt mbers, before Lexia swiftly fired out several bone bullets from her fingertips, sharp gasps of pain ringing out as her bullet riddled a couple of them, before Colt took aim and fired out a rapid, piercing beam of blood from his fingertip, hitting the middle of one of their foreheads and bursting out through the back of their head.
Lexia then swung her Relic Armant across at one of them while extending and expanding the weapon, her target’s eyes widening in alarm before he raised a sword up defensively, the blade shattering as the spiky tal ball slamd onto it before a loud crunch rang out as it collided against the middle of his chest, caving in his ribcage.
Colt then extended out a couple of blood tendrils and sent them chasing after a couple of enemies who had started to flee, grabbing their ankles with the tendrils before they could get away and yanking the tendrils back sharply, pulling them off balance, as they fell forward with yelps and hit the ground facefirst.
He then pierced into their legs with the tendrils, boring into their bodies before he sent his blood tunneling through the inside of their legs and into their torsos, drilling towards their hearts as they gasped in agony, before tearing their hearts to shreds from the inside.
"You bastard, die!" Exclaid another mber of Exalt as she sprang up behind Colt with a spear raised high, before Colt swiftly spun around and drew out his dagger.
"You really shouldn’t yell when you’re trying to sneak up on soone," He smirked, as he thrust his dagger into her neck and gave it a sharp twist before she could swing her spear down, a choked cry of pain ringing out as blood poured out of her mouth, her body starting to spasm as the dagger injected its venom into her.
He then pulled it back out with a sharp twist, blood gushing out of the hole in her neck as she shakily stumbled back and collapsed onto the ground, her body spasming more and more violently as bloody foam ford and spilled out of her mouth.
Colt and Lexia then swiftly leapt away in either direction as a powerful gust of wind ca shooting down towards them, a cloud of dust bursting out as the attack slamd onto the ground with an intense impact, the pair turning their gaze up and spotting soone hovering in the air above them.
"Huh, that guy looks vaguely familiar...I think he might have been one of the Knights on our list of targets before we were pardoned," Remarked Lexia, as she narrowed her eyes at the figure.
"He seems to be relatively more competent than the rest, he’s staying out of our reach," Replied Colt, as he swiftly sidestepped to evade a piercing blast of wind, which struck the ground and kicked up another cloud of dust.
"You damned Commoners...if it weren’t for you, none of this would be happening, our lives wouldn’t have been so unjustly disrupted, how dare you-...!?" He snapped hatefully, before he was abruptly cut off as a pair of rapid purple beams ca shooting towards him and struck the left side of his head, drilling through and bursting out the right side, killing him before he even realized what had happened.
As he began to plumt, Colt and Lexia turned their gaze in the direction the beams had co from, spotting Raven who flashed them a thumbs up as they t his gaze.
"Guess that takes care of that. Let’s keep going," Suggested Lexia as she cracked her neck, before narrowing her eyes at another group of Exalt’s mbers.
A sharp crackle of lightning then rang out from several ters away as Rione slamd his hamr onto the middle of an enemy’s torso, scorching the skin over his chest and stomach and crushing the bones and organs below, blood pouring out of the Exalt mber’s mouth as he collapsed onto the ground with an agonized wheeze.
Rione then spun around and whipped his hamr across as a fireball and light blast ca shooting towards him from behind, the head of his hamr striking across the incoming attacks and dissipating them well before they could reach him.
He then locked his gaze onto the two who’d fired the attacks, raising his hamr in the direction of one of them before firing out a rapid, concentrated bolt of lightning, which hit the middle of the man’s chest and burst through before he could react, carving out a wide, scorched hole through his chest as he collapsed onto his knees and fell over, hitting the ground with a thud.
He then shot towards the other one, who began to scramble away in fear, before letting out a cry of alarm as she tripped and fell over, crashing onto the ground before desperately trying to get back onto her feet as Rione closed in on her and leapt forward, raising his hamr up high and swinging it back down with imnse force.
The hamr slamd onto the back of her head with a crushing impact, splitting her skull open before smashing her head apart, blood and brain chunks flying out as cracks spread out across the ground below her smashed head, puffs of dust bursting out through the cracks.
Rione then spun around and raised his hamr up defensively as another mber of Exalt shot towards him with a pair of twin blades, water swirling intensely around the blades as he closed in and slashed at Rione, who blocked the slashes with the handle of his hamr, a couple of sharp clangs ringing out upon impact.
"Oh, I rember you...you were a Second-Class Knight in the Second Squad, weren’t you? Yeah, that’s right, we arrested you," Recalled Rione, as the figure backed away with a grimace.
"You’ve disgraced your ancestors, Prince Rione. My comrades and I intend to restore the honor that you and your siblings have so blatantly blemished, and you’re an obstacle to that cause. So, die!" He exclaid, before firing out a slashing wave of water at Rione, who vaporized the attack by unleashing a sharp burst of lightning from his hamr.
His opponent shot forward, getting low as he closed in before whipping his blades across towards Rione’s knees.
Rione swiftly spin his hamr around with a flick of his wrist, striking the man’s hands and knocking his blades away, eliciting a sharp cry of pain from him as his body stiffened up sharply from the lightning coating the head of the hamr.
"At this point, you people are just embarrassingly delusional. I an, really...did you honestly believe you stood a chance of defeating ?" Inquired Rione icily, before he grabbed the top of his opponent’s head, tightening his grip before unleashing a crackling burst of lightning from his hand, frying his head and killing him instantly.
Rione then stepped back and scrunched up his nose as a foul stench wafted out, streaks of smoke billowing out of the charred head as the man collapsed onto the ground, slumping against the dirt before Rione glanced in either direction as a couple more mbers of Exalt ca charging in towards him from either side.
anwhile, elsewhere in what was turning out to be a massively one-sided battle...
"Co on, there’s no way you idiots weren’t told about what my Magic is capable of...with that in mind, why the hell would you all co charging at like that? Talk about suicidal," Remarked Aster, as he stared around at the mbers of Exalt who were caught in his Telekinetic Zone, unable to move a muscle.
"D-damn, you...!"
"Well, not that I’m complaining. Either way, the outco would’ve been the sa, so this actually saves a lot of ti and effort. Alright, ti to die," Responded Aster, before loud crunches rang out around him as he violently twisted and mangled their bodies with his telekinesis...
