Jimmy's hands balled into fists as he stood abruptly from his seat. His lips pressed into a thin line, and the intense look in his eyes was now replaced by a dull, distant look.

"This is useless," he muttered under his breath. His sudden change in deanor caught Kimmy off guard. She turned to him, frowning in confusion.

"Huh?" Kimmy asked, her eyebrows knitting together. "What is?"

Jimmy shook his head, avoiding her gaze. "You shouldn't have asked to co," he said quietly. Without waiting for a response, he stord out of the VIP area, his steps quick and agitated.

"What happened to him?" Kimmy muttered.

Just monts ago, he had been engrossed in the ga, completely caught up in the tension of the final monts. Now, he seed as if the whole thing had been pointless.

Kimmy hesitated for a second, not understanding what had just happened, before jumping up to chase after her brother. "Jimmy, wait!" she called, running after him.

But as she reached the door, she glanced back briefly, still puzzled by his reaction.

In the middle of the VIP area, Zheng stood up as well, his usually calm expression tightening into sothing more serious. "I need to prepare," he muttered, mostly to himself, though Fang, who had been sitting next to him, overheard.

Fang raised an eyebrow and glanced at Zheng. "Prepare? You an for your ga?" he asked, leaning back in his seat casually. His tone was light, but his eyes studied Zheng with more focus now. "You ready for it?"

Zheng nodded firmly, a quiet but intense determination settling over him. "If I don't win this ga right now... I'll never win against him. Ever." He paused, clenching his fists as he thought of Jian and all the tis he had lost to him. "I just need to accept that."

Fang gave a small nod. "Well now, I guess you know what I feel. I'm actually really glad you're graduating soon. Now, I'll reign in Beijing!" he exclaid.

Zheng shook his head and smiled for a brief second. "I'm going now," he said, waving goodbye to Calvin and Fang, who had gotten much closer after they both lost to Kai.

As Zheng disappeared down the hall, the excitent of the mont caught up with the teachers of Shizi High, who were still in the stands, celebrating. Even Sir Dao couldn't hide his grin. His chest swelled with pride as he watched the students cheer and jump around in victory. This was the kind of victory he wanted to celebrate when he was still a student.

However, as much as he wanted to deny it, he wasn't as good as Kai or the entire team.

Just then, out of the corner of his eye, Sir Dao spotted his daughter, Suzy, making her way toward the court, specifically toward Kai.

A small sense of dread ford in his stomach, and his smile faltered slightly. He felt an instinctive urge to stop her. But as his eyes followed her, he glanced at Kai.

Sir Dao hesitated for a mont before shaking his head and sighing defeat. "He's a good kid," he muttered to himself, forcing himself to stay seated.

Suzy, bouncing with excitent, hurried toward Kai. Her heart was racing, filled with the joy of the ga and the overwhelming victory. She smiled as she got closer, waving to get his attention. But before she could reach him, she stopped her feet, halting suddenly as her smile faded.

Kai was already walking toward soone else. Suzy blinked, confused for a mont until she saw exactly who it was—Lina. Kai walked up to Lina, his eyes softening as he reached her. Without saying a word, he leaned in and kissed her gently on the cheek.

Suzy's stomach dropped.

'What is that?' she thought, her excitent draining in an instant.

She thought they were just friends!

Suzy had the urge to still go to where he was, but a bigger part of her just turned away from the scene and walked back to her cheer team.

On the opposite side of the court, the Knights were still in disarray. They were calm now—thanks to Max. However, even then, they couldn't hide their sadness.

Their coach was nowhere to be found. The players glanced around in confusion.

Fabin, who had been deep in thought, was the first to notice.

"Where's Coach?" Fabin muttered, his eyes scanning the benches.

Ailun, who had been wiping sweat from his forehead, looked up. "Yeah... where is he?"

Their confusion only deepened when they saw him—standing at the Shizi Dogs' bench. The coach of the Knights stood tall, his back straight as he approached Yuze, who was sitting quietly with a towel draped over his shoulders, still recovering from the emotional ga.

"What is Coach Guanyu doing at the benches of the Dogs?"

"Shouldn't he be comforting his players right now?"

"Comforting? You an, scolding? Anyway, I've never seen these two interact, so it's very confusing."

The Knights players watched in stunned silence as their coach stood in front of Yuze.

"Okay, this is getting more confusing," Fabin muttered, not being able to take his eyes away from the scene.

For a mont, Coach Guanyu simply looked at Yuze, not really knowing what to say.

Then, he extended his hand toward Yuze.

"Son," the coach said.

Yuze blinked, looking up in disbelief. His eyes widened slightly as he processed what was happening. For a mont, the exhaustion, the pain, and the emotional toll of the ga faded into the background. He stared at the man standing in front of him, his first coach.

He wondered what the catch was.

Why was he doing this?

Why was he calling him in such a soft voice in front of everybody?

Wasn't he ashad of him anymore? Or maybe his pride just couldn't take that he had lost to his son's team—the team that Yuze had been trying to build since he was a first-year student.

However, the look in his father's eyes didn't suggest anything malicious.

In the back of his mind, he felt that maybe this was the ti to finally trust him.
