Suzy and Lina sat still for a mont, just looking at Jimmy Wang and the pretty girl right beside him.

"It must be her girlfriend, right?" Lina said, sounding hopeful.

"I don't think so," Suzy muttered as the pretty girl rolled her eyes at Jimmy in annoyance. "She just said she likes Kai."

"Kai Guo?" Jimmy exclaid in a shocked voice. "The guy you like?"

The pretty girl enthusiastically nodded, causing Lina and Suzy to hold their breaths.

"Yes," she confidently answered. "Didn't I tell you that I don't like Jian anymore? Kai got my attention after I saw his video go viral on a basketball forum!"

"You know how much I love basketball," she added.

Lina softly gasped as Suzy's words echoed in the back of her mind.

"She's interested in basketball," Suzy whisper-shouted.

"That still doesn't justify why you like that guy!" Jimmy exclaid, appearing like he couldn't accept his sister's confession.

"Whatever!" the pretty girl exclaid. "I don't care what you say. I've already made up my mind. Jian rejected , but I'm going to make sure that Kai won't! He's also around our age, and he's much more handso than Jian!"

Lina pursed her lips. "She's persistent, too," she muttered.

The pretty girl was about to go to where Kai was, but Jimmy held her back.

Lina couldn't believe that the day would co when she would be cheering Jimmy Wang on. Based on his attitude during the training camp, he wasn't really worth praising. However, she was thankful that he was holding her back.

"Kimmy," Jimmy said in a warning tone. "I'm telling you. Dad isn't going to like this."

"Plus points if she's rich and has connections in the basketball world," Suzy muttered, repeating her words earlier on.

The two of them couldn't believe it.

It was as if the girl Suzy had just described fell from the sky and entered the cafe!

"If she's Jimmy Wang's sister," Lina muttered.

"Then, she's Johnny Wang's daughter," Suzy concluded. "They're loaded. Their parents are the people who run the basketball association."

"Oh, this isn't good," Lina muttered.

The two siblings continued bickering while Lina and Suzy were having a crisis. The two pretty ladies tried to convince themselves that Kimmy was just a big fan.

"You can't like that guy!" Jimmy said, capturing their attention once more.

"Why not?" Kimmy asked with a scheming smile. "He's handso. I'm pretty. He's good at basketball. I love basketball. I heard he's kind, too, so what's there not to like?"

"Do you think he can join your team next year? You guys will be unbeatable by then!"

Lina's and Suzy's eyes widened in shock.

"And, through that, I can also beco closer to him! Aren't we the perfect match?"

"Oh, she's definitely serious," Lina muttered, shaking her head.

Suzy nervously chuckled. "Well, at least they don't know each other, right?"

With Jimmy in shock, Kimmy went to where Kai was. The crowd had lessened by this ti, so she quickly approached him.

She stood in front of Kai, and the handso young man's eyes widened in surprise.

"You—," he started off.

Kimmy's eyes brightened in excitent. "Do you rember ?"

Kai scratched the back of his head. "Yeah," he muttered. "You ca to one of our gas in Jilin."

Lina reached over and held onto Suzy's hand, squeezing tight. The cheerleader didn't bother retreating her hand despite Lina holding it for dear life.

"I need you to stop talking," Lina said through gritted teeth. "Why is it that everything you say sohow becos true?"

Kai rembered her, of course. She was one of the first Juren students to have co to Jilin just to watch the Dogs' ga.

Kimmy's cheeks reddened, placing her hands behind her back as she subtly swayed from side to side.

"So, you do rember ," she whispered. "I must have been morable."

"What was that?" Kai asked, not really hearing her statent.

Kimmy lifted her head and smiled. "It's nothing," she said. "We'll see each other more often from now on. I'll be watching the next gas live!"

"That's…good," Kai muttered, not really knowing how to react to her statents.

Just then, Jimmy snapped out of his shock and held onto his sister's wrist.

Kai was surprised as soon as he saw Jimmy.

"Let go!" Kimmy exclaid.

Kai frowned since it appeared like Kimmy was in pain. He went between the two of them, causing Kimmy's heart to flutter and Jimmy's annoyance to flourish.

"What do you think you're doing?" Jimmy asked.

Kai frowned. "I should be asking you the sa thing. It appears like she's hurt."

Kimmy pouted and nodded, causing Jimmy's eyes to widen. This sister of his was as tough as steel! Now, she was acting like a delicate little flower in front of Kai!

"Mind your own business, and stop seducing my sister!" he exclaid.

"Sister?" Kai muttered.

Kimmy smiled at June. "I got all the good genes," she innocently said.

"Shut up, Kimmy," Jimmy said. "Anyway, you can't like this guy. Just stick to liking Jian."

"Who are you to tell who I can and can't like?"

Jimmy clicked his tongue and pointed at Kai, making the latter even more confused. Why was he stuck in the middle of this conflict?

"Kai Guo!" Jimmy exclaid. "You've really crossed the line now!"

Kai clicked his tongue. "What did I do now?"

"I don't care if you have beco popular with this tournant. I will not hold back in destroying you! Why don't we play? One versus one?"

Suzy and Lina turned to each other with wide eyes. They knew Kai was the type to always want to play basketball wherever he was. However, they were afraid that the ga between Jimmy and Kai would result into sothing more if it pushed through.

Much to their surprise, though, Kai shook his head.

"I'm not interested," he said, making Jimmy frown.

"Are you denying a ga with ?"

Kai casually placed his hands inside his pocket and nodded.

"Yeah," he said. "The semi-finals are coming up. I don't want to do anything unnecessary."

"Besides, if you want to play with , then do good in the semi-finals. At this point, you wouldn't even be able to step into the finals to face us."

Jimmy's mouth went agape. He had never t anyone from another team who spoke so confidently before! He just insinuated that the Champions wouldn't make it to the finals!

"Dang, that's hot," Kimmy muttered as she stared at Kai, breaking the tension between the two.
