Destroyed.

If there was one word that could describe how the Faith Weavers felt, then it would be that—destroyed.

The second quarter had just rolled in, and it was already obvious who was going to win the ga. Their captain, who hadn't left the court ever since the first quarter, couldn't believe his eyes.

"W—who are these guys?" he stamred as a large shadow lood above him.

A small smile made its way on Yuze's face as he dunked the ball, earning loud cheers from the crowd. Despite their small number, their cheers were actually pretty loud.

Nina and Rolan looked around with satisfied smiles.

Nina continued snapping photos of the players, their happiness apparent with every shot.

"I wish more people would see this!" Rolan exclaid as the ga continued.

Andy had subbed out Jinping while Kun was replaced by one of their bench warrs.

Kai passed the ball to Andy, who smiled and shot the ball without even looking at the ring.

54-23.

"Nice one, Andy!" Kai said, giving him a high-five. Andy smiled and prepared for defense.

Dingbang and Hong turned to each other in surprise.

"That guy's good too?" Dingbang exclaid.

Hong swallowed the lump in his throat. During the first quarter, he had hopes that only Kai Guo would be good in the Shizi Dogs. However, those thoughts were shattered right away.

"Thank you!" Kun said as he stole the ball from their co-captain.

He had gained more confidence after their training camp and played more at ease during the ga. He found that his strength lay in his agility, so Lina and Yuze told him to capitalize on it.

He shot a lay-up, and it made it in.

56-23.

Kai, who had been smiling since the start, caught Yuze's pass and ran toward the ring.

The referee couldn't believe his eyes. He had been a referee for the Nationals for five years already, and this was the first ti he saw an ordinary player move so fast.

Then, with his jump, he was rendered speechless once again.

"High," he muttered. "Too high!"

These trics would typically only be seen from those in the Elite Five!

Their co-captain felt dread run through his veins as Kai executed a jump shot. It was a simple shot—arguably one of the basics. Yet, he made it look so pristine.

At that mont, they wanted nothing but to crawl back to their hos and cuddle with their mothers.

Who were these monsters?

Renren shook his head as he watched the ga.

"Those guys are brutal," he said to Lina, who was also enjoying the ga.

Lina chuckled. "Well, they've been holding back. It's been a while since we've played in a real ga like this."

Renren nodded. "Put in the second half, alright?"

"I will," Lina said. "I'll pull Yuze out. We need to rotate as much as possible. We still have six gas left after this one."

"Jeez," Jinping muttered. "You're already thinking of the next gas when we're still in the second quarter? That's pretty brutal, don't you think?"

Lina chuckled and focused her gaze on the court. "But isn't it already obvious?" she asked.

"It is," Jinping smirked, crossing his arms in front of his chest. "I thought it would be no fun since there's no thrill. But it's very fun to watch other people swallow their words in real ti! Those bastards deserve it."

The crowd began to rave about the Shizi Dogs, growing more and more curious about them.

"Search them up!"

"Jilin? Shizi High is a school from Jilin City."

"I've never heard of them before."

"If they're this good, then shouldn't we have learned about them already?"

"That guy is particularly good! Kai Guo?"

"He's handso, too."

"How can you even tell? They look like shrimps from where we're sitting."

"I can feel it."

Even those seated at the professional scorer's table couldn't believe their eyes.

"Who are these kids?" one asked.

Andy executed another three-pointer, earning amazed gasps from the crowd.

Kai clicked his tongue. "Don't show off on your own."

With that, he stole the ball from the opponent's captain and did a dunk, smirking at Andy, who rely rolled his eyes.

"It seems like they're playing among themselves and not with the Weavers."

Yuze went over to the two of them and slapped the back of their heads.

The younger players' eyes widened as they felt their napes throb.

"Focus on the ga," Yuze grumbled.

Andy and Kai shook their heads and went back to the ga, still upset about Yuze's unnecessary hit.

anwhile, the Faith Weavers on the bench shook as they watched the scene.

"A—are they joking with us?" Hong muttered.

Dingbang pursed his lips. "It feels like they're not doing their best."

The ga continued, and by the fourth quarter, the Shizi Dogs had established their na amongst the small crowd.

"Do they have a ga tomorrow?"

"They do! In the air court."

"Let's go! I want to watch them."

"But it's the sa schedule as that of the Juren Champions."

"Ah, that's a bumr. I want to watch them. It's even with the Longyu Dragons."

"Oh, Calvin? The Dragons are still better."

As the last minute rolled around, the Faith Weavers seed to have lost all hope.

And with that, they let the Dogs do what they want.

Their captain dropped to the ground, tears almost in his eyes.

Jinping dribbled the ball and glanced at them with pity.

"So uncool," he said before passing the ball to his teammate. However, much to his dismay, he passed it to none other than Kai.

Jinping groaned. "I didn't an to pass to you!" he exclaid. "You already have way too many points for your own good!"

However, Kai didn't listen to him.

He dribbled the ball with expertise despite the Faith Weavers giving up. Then, he jumped up and perford a smooth lay-up, signaling his 47th point of the night.

108-62.

The buzzer was heard around the court, signalling the end of the ga.

However, even then, the crowd continued to buzz in excitent.

Who was this unknown group and why have they destroyed a two-ti Nationals qualifier?
