[Official Match Loss: -5XP]

[Current level: Interdiate (98)]

Kai didn't think he could be more pissed off at Coach Jin.

Lina's speech comforted him a lot, but that still didn't take away the fact that he hated Coach Jin with a burning passion.

[Incoming Weekly Mission!]

Kai stopped in his tracks when he realized that his weekly mission had now appeared. He was so upset that he almost forgot about it.

His thoughts were consud with wanting to kick out Coach Jin out of the team.

However, he set that aside for a second and hoped for a mission that would guarantee him a big jump in his level.

After their loss, Kai beca determined to increase his levels until the Interhigh Preliminaries started.

[Pest extermination: Kick a hindrance out of the team]

[50 XP on the line]

[The sa amount of XP will be deducted if the mission is fulfilled]

Kai couldn't believe his eyes. Did his system hear him or sothing?

It seed like he was being given an opportunity to kill two birds with one stone.

There was only one hindrance in the team that he could think of at the mont.

He needed to kick out Coach Jin.

"Kai! Where are you going? We're heading to Lina's house!" Jet exclaid, making him snap out of his thoughts.

Kai halted and turned around to see the 'main character players' of the team waiting for him.

Zeren clicked his tongue and crossed his arms in front of his chest.

"Why is he joining us?" he muttered with pouted lips.

Lina shook her head. "Of course, he's joining. He's a part of the team!"

Zeren shook his head, still looking pretty upset.

Kai smirked in amusent. Well, it seed like he was back to normal.

"Are you going or not?" Jinping impatiently asked.

A small smile arose from Kai's lips.

"Wait for !"

"This dude is so funny," Jade laughed out loud, holding onto his abdon as he watched the video compilation alongside his friends.

Tingtai held onto Yeruo for support, even leaning his head on the latter's shoulder.

"How co he was allowed to play like that?" Yeruo asked.

"I don't know, man," Jade said. "All I know is that he's very entertaining. I want to watch one of his gas."

"He's from Jilin," Jade said. "Unless you want to travel for ten hours, then we wouldn't have the chance to watch their gas."

"Well, unless they would co here for the Interhigh Nationals," Tingtai chid.

The three first-year players stayed silent for a mont before shaking their heads.

"Look at the comnts," Jade said. "It looks like they had already lost the Winter Cup."

"I see," Yeruo said. "Well, this team is quite entertaining, but I can see that they still lack in a lot of aspects."

Jade shook his head. "You're saying that, but you're always stuck on the bench."

Yeruo scratched the back of his head. "Only because our seniors are so good. If I was in Jilin, I would also be a starting player."

Jade squared his shoulders. "Well, I can't relate. I'm already playing as a starting player, even as a first-year student."

Tingtai and Yeruo looked at each other and shook their heads.

"You only play for three minutes max, though," Yeruo muttered, earning a slap on the head from Jade.

"Whatever!" Jade exclaid. "That's much better than the two of you."

Yeruo scratched the back of his head. "Let's just continue watching this."

The three players from a big high school in Beijing continued watching the funny video.

It was a video posted on a basketball page, and it was the compilation of the plays of a team called the 'Shizi Dogs.'

It had around 50,000 views, and almost all of the people were laughing at them.

The three young n also laughed at their ridiculous plays.

Nonetheless, their skills didn't go unnoticed.

"This Yuze guy—isn't he good?" Tingtai asked.

"Hmm," Jade said. "I don't usually acknowledge other players with just a compilation, but he is pretty good. However, aside from him, none of them are better than ."

"Here he goes again," Yeruo rolled his eyes. "This Zeren dude is better than you at shooting."

"Shut up," Jade said. "His form is worse than mine."

Yeruo shook his head and continued watching the video.

"This Kai guy takes the cake when it cos to humor, though. He even perford an underhand shot! Look," he pointed to the comnts. "Almost everyone is talking about him."

- Kai Guo is my spirit animal!

- Why am I, a native of Shanghai, watching a high school basketball tournant based in Jilin City?

- I co back to this video whenever I want to feel better about my basketball skills!

- Kai Guo wants to stir up the high school basketball scene! I hope we see them soon.

- It's a sha that they lost the Winter Cup!

- It's only expected! They can't beat the Foxes and the Knights anyway.

- Ah, shocks. Kai Guo always makes laugh.

- As much as I find Kai Guo funny, he is also impressive. I can see him improving as each ga passes! I can't believe he's just a first-year student.

- He's a first-year?

- Wait, what? Why does he seem the sa age as my uncle?

The three also turned to each other in surprise.

"He's the sa year as us?" they exclaid loudly.

Just then, they felt painful sensations in the back of their heads, causing them to turn around to the perpetrators.

Jade was about to curse them out. However, when they saw who it was, they quickly stood and bowed their heads in sha.

"Captain Henry," Tingtai said, gulping in nervousness.

Henry, with Jackson by his side, shook his head in disappointnt.

"What are you doing?" he nacingly asked.

The three young n continued looking down at the ground, not finding the courage to respond.

Henry clicked his tongue. "When I was a first-year student, I trained earlier than my seniors. That's how I beca a starting player when I was in my second year."

"What about you?" he asked. "Can't you see that your senior is already practicing?"

The three of them turned to the court, where they saw their star player already doing so shooting drills.

Jade scratched the back of his head. They were so entertained by the video that they didn't even realize that he was already there!

Henry was about to give them another scolding when Fang's voice cut through.

"Don't scold them, Henry," he said. "Their incompetence only lies within themselves. If they don't make it into the cut, then they have no other person to bla but themselves."

Jade, being the rebellious child among the three, decided to speak out.

"We were just watching a funny video!" he said, trying to lighten up the atmosphere.

"It's a compilation of plays from a team called the Shizi Dogs! Do you want to watch?" he asked.

Fang stopped dribbling and fully turned to the three of them.

Tingtai and Yeruo gulped in nervousness while Jade looked at him with bright and hopeful eyes.

"No thanks," Fang said, dribbling the ball and focusing his attention on the ring once more.

Then, he shot from the free-throw line, undoubtedly making it in.

"I don't have ti to watch teams that aren't on my level."
