"Chunlei has the ball once again. He has been unstoppable ever since he entered the ga. Would they be able to stop him once and for all?" Mark Li exclaid through the microphone.

The cheers reached a fever pitch as they went to the last four minutes of the ga.

The Shizi Dogs still had to catch up to twelve points, and realistically speaking, it was almost an impossible feat.

However, at that mont, 'impossible' wasn't in their dictionary.

"Is it just , or have they...changed?" Bao asked, his eyes focused on the court.

His mom had been calling for the hundredth ti, but he couldn't tear his gaze away from the ga.

"Shouldn't you answer that?" Mingze asked.

Bao shook his head. "A guy has to be rebellious at one point."

Alen shook his head in amusent. "I can't believe you're counting this as an act of rebellion. However, to answer your question. It seems like they really have changed."

"For so reason, I can feel the fire burning within them," he said.

Indeed, the Shizi Dogs were fired up after Lina had said those words.

It was true that they were slowly losing hope since the two-digit gap seed miles away. However, they went back to their original objectives and realized that they had co too far for them to accept loss at that mont.

"For Eva," Jinping muttered.

"For Lina," Zeren dreamily sighed.

"For Shang!" Jet said with determination.

Yuze remained silent, his hands clenched by his side as he felt the yearning for real recognition.

And Kai...well, Kai was confused to the core.

"Disdain? What does she an by that?" he muttered.

He really didn't understand what Lina was trying to insinuate.

However, he put that thought aside since they still had a lot of catching up to do.

Yuze and Chunlei stood face to face, and at that mont, Chunlei felt the shift in Yuze's attitude.

He knew he was a talented player, and Chunlei was also aware that he had the potential to improve even further if he joined a team that would unleash it.

However, it seed like his potential was being unleashed at that mont when he was able to intercept Chunlei's shot and passed the ball to Jet.

"Yuze takes the ball from Chunlei! That's the first ti he had done that in the ga! It seems like Chunlei and the other Feng Foxes are in shock."

"They're failing to see that Zeren is attempting to shoot!" Mark exclaid.

"Now, they're trying to stop them, but it's too late. The first-year student shoots...and he makes it!"

"Three more points for the Shizi Dogs!"

The crowd erupted into cheers as they narrowed the gap to a single digit once again.

85-76

"Yiming has the ball and once again tries to shoot. However, soone is running from behind."

Kai pursed his lips as he jumped high in the air, the audience's eyes nearly bulging out of their heads as Kai's toes reached the end of Yiming's waist.

Justin's eyes widened in surprise. He couldn't help but stand as he witnessed Kai slap the ball from behind just as it left Yuze's hand.

"Thanks!" Jinping exclaid as he caught the ball and passed it onto Yuze.

"Did you see that?" Justin exclaid, turning to Junior. "That's perfect for heading!"

Junior didn't bother responding as he stood alongside him, watching the show with full focus.

The other students also started standing, not being able to take the tension they were feeling.

"Last three minutes!" Mark exclaid just as Yuze dribbled down the court.

Chunlei tried to run to where he was, but Kai suddenly intercepted him, making Chunlei frown.

Chunlei knew he could go past Kai without much trouble. However, with a fake to the left, Kai managed to delay Chunlei for a re second.

That re second was enough for Yuze to shoot a lay-up.

85-78

"What's with them?" Chunlei muttered.

He thought that Yuze was the only one who was more fired up. However, it seed like every mber of the Shizi Dogs was playing to their best extent.

"Seven points!" Mark exclaid. "The clock is approaching the two-minute mark. Is it possible? I think it is!"

Chunlei bit his lips in frustration.

Yiming frowned as he saw the 'cool' player lose his calmness.

"Chunlei," he said. However, Chunlei remained frowning.

"Don't slack!" Chunlei exclaid to his teammates, which caused the others to nod in agreent.

anwhile, those in the audience couldn't believe that the official starting players of the Feng Foxes were actually having a hard ti against the Shizi Dogs!

They were supposed to be the elite team—one of the most unbeatable ones!

"Strong," a student from Shizi High muttered. "Our school is strong!"

With his utterance, the side of Shizi High started cheering louder than before.

However, the Feng Arts students didn't want to go down without a fight. They, too, started cheering, which engulfed the venue in a deafening noise.

"Goodness!" Mark exclaid. "I feel like I'm in a simulation! The supporters of the respective schools are also having a showdown."

Chunlei clicked his tongue as he cracked his knuckles, glancing at the clock as it passed the two-minute mark.

"Alright," he muttered. "Let's put an end to this!"

Kai heard what Chunlei said.

"Not on my watch," he muttered, going to where Chunlei was to get a feel of what he was really like.

Yuze went to guard his rival, Yiming, and the others also guarded their 'counterparts.'

Kai knew that he didn't deserve to be called Chunlei's counterpart just yet. However, he wanted to challenge himself.

If he wanted to beat Max Zhou, then he also had to beat Chunlei.

Chunlei looked at Kai with a smirk—as if silently challenging him.

'Do you really think you can beat ?' Chunlei thought as he made his way to the three-point line.

Kai frowned, and although his sweat had started making his eyes blurry, he didn't let it stop him.

He moved when Chunlei moved, not giving him the chance to shoot.

Chunlei clicked his tongue and still decided to shoot instead, a small smirk appearing on his face when he managed to throw the ball.

However, his smirk quickly disappeared when the ball bounced off the rim.

The others were also surprised—it was his first miss of the night!

Chunlei, for sure, thought that he was going to make it in!

Then, he snapped back to reality when he saw Kai going for the rebound. He tried to contest the rebound, but Kai's position was more advantageous. Moreover, his height and physique made it hard for Chunlei to intercept.

The second-year player clicked his tongue as he followed Kai to the other side of the court.

Kai felt his heart race as he decided to make a risky move.

Chunlei expected him to go for an easy lay-up, so he already went inside the paint and under the ring to guard him before he could even raise his arms.

However, much to his surprise, Kai wasn't there when he turned around.

Instead, he was at the side of the free throw line, already in the position to shoot the ball.

Chunlei's eyes widened.

"No," he muttered. "It can't be."
