The crowd quickly dispersed with the arrival of the terror teacher.

Bao squeaked and ran away while the potato guy vanished into thin air. The annoying trio, on the other hand, casually walked away like they weren't part of the ga just now.

However, Kai stayed in his spot and smiled as he gazed at his increased XP. It seed like sothing actually ca out of this ga!

"You're laughing?" the old teacher exclaid, pointing his long stick at Kai.

Kai snapped out of his thoughts, his eyes widening when the old teacher began walking up to him.

The old teacher looked at the badge on Kai's uniform and shook his head.

"What a boastful first-year student," he clicked his tongue. "What's your na, young man?"

Kai cleared his throat. "Kai. Kai Guo."

The teacher's eyebrows furrowed, and he seed to be searching for sothing in his mind.

"Kai Guo?" he muttered. "That na sounds familiar. Wait—don't tell . You're the troublemaker my past colleague had ntioned."

Kai pursed his lips as the teacher kept yapping.

"I can't believe they accepted a student like you in this school," he sighed. "I guess they really do accept everyone in this place."

The old teacher glared at Kai whilst clicking his tongue. "Well, what are you still doing here? Get back to your class!"

Kai nodded casually before walking away. anwhile, the teacher kept insulting him behind his back.

"Kids like those need to be dealt with in a different way," he muttered.

Kai walked back to his classroom, feeling bittersweet. His heart pounded in excitent during the basketball ga, and although he knew he was rely playing with a bunch of non-players, he still felt satisfied being able to score two baskets.

However, he also felt it was a sha that it ended so quickly. Aside from that, he was scolded by that old man when Jinping and his lackeys were the ones who invited him to the ga!

"Hey, newbie!"

Speaking of Jinping—he stood in the hallway with Yuan and Hui, smug smiles on their faces.

"What?" Kai sighed, feeling tired of dealing with them.

"You wouldn't have scored in the ga if I played my best. Fortunately for you, I'm saving up my strength for the basketball tryouts," he said.

Kai pursed his lips, feeling a bit annoyed with his presence. It was weird—he wasn't the type of person who got easily annoyed in his old body. However, now, he felt like those feelings just skyrocketed.

"I thought you'd leave alone?" Kai asked.

Jinping smirked. "That was only if you beat . You only had a total of five points in the ga, while I had six," he boasted. "So, technically, I won the ga."

"However, since none of us got to ten points because of that teacher, I'll settle with a tie for now. Just rember—this isn't over. This also ans that Eva is still mine. You don't have the right to—"

Kai walked away before Jinping could even finish his sentence. He could hear him asking him to co back and finish their conversation, but Kai ignored him and continued walking to their classroom.

He finally reached the room, and fortunately, Sir Muchen was still the one in front.

"Oh, there you are," he chuckled. "You're late again. Try not to do that so often, alright?" he kindly asked.

Kai nodded before heading to his seat.

"Well, like I said, you'll be eting your other teachers for the rest of the day," Sir Muchen chid.

"Please don't cause any trouble since I'll be at the short end of the stick," he nervously added.

"Hao," he said, gesturing to the good-looking student sitting in the middle of the room. He had glasses, and his hair was neatly slicked back. His uniform was also pearly-white and perfectly ironed. All in all, he looked like a very proper student.

"You'll be the acting class president for now," Sir Muchen said. "Please watch over the class and lead the greetings."

"Yes, sir," Hao respectfully said, even bowing his head.

"I'll get going then," Sir Muchen said, waving goodbye before leaving the room.

There was a slight noise in the room with Sir Muchen's departure. Kai looked out the window and saw the court they played in just monts ago.

His seatmate cleared his throat, making him turn to his side.

Bao, who appeared to still be sweating from the ga they had, nervously fiddled with his fingers.

"Umm, Kai, I'm sorry for earlier. I made so many mistakes," he shakily said.

"Have you played basketball before?" Kai casuallt asked.

Bao shook his head. "No. I'm not good at sports."

"Well, you were pretty good for a first-tir," Kai complinted. "You were better than —that's what I'll say."

A small smile erged on Bao's face.

"Bao, right?" Kai asked, not wanting to get his na wrong.

"Yeah," Bao said, still smiling.

"You were cool, Bao," Kai briefly said.

Bao pursed his lips and looked down at his lap, not knowing how to take the complint. All of the rumors he heard said that Kai was a cold-hearted, disrespectful troublemaker.

However, from their small interactions, he seed pretty sweet.
