"I want to awaken in this city that never sleeps and discover that I am the King of the Hill—!!!"

"New York—New York—!!!"

After the Yankees and Astros' ho ga ended, the iconic song from Frank Sinatra echoed once again in Yankee Stadium;

According to the usual tradition, spectators now should be singing the victory anthem while orderly exiting the venue, then join friends at a bar for a few drinks to celebrate another victory for the team.

But today was completely different.

On this championship night, marking the team's return to the World Series stage after 8 years, even though the ga had ended, over fifty thousand Yankees fans remained in their seats, enjoying this unbelievably beautiful championship mont together with the players celebrating passionately on the field.

As many dia have emphasized countless tis, New York City has long yearned for the taste of championship: the last ti a New York team reached the final and won in the four major North Arican sports leagues was back in 2012's NFL—

In that year's Super Bowl, Eli Manning led the New York Giant Team to thwart the New England Patriots led by Tom Brady for the second ti, claiming the last championship trophy for New York's sports realm so far.

Since then, not a single player from the New York Region made it to the final, let alone lift the trophy.

And tonight, with the "Evil Empire" New York Yankees sweeping the Houston Astros at ho, New York, Arica's most renowned international tropolis, has once again returned to the forefront, instilling imnse pride and joy in the already sowhat superior New Yorkers.

The stands of Yankee Stadium were filled with cheers, screams, and applause, whether male or female, young or old, raising various props, waving jerseys or towels, shouting in unison the chant "Yankees, Yankees"—even though mid-October nights in New York were already quite cold, it couldn't quench the fans' burning enthusiasm.

With the proactive arrangents by the ho staff, a sizable award platform was quickly set up in the center of the field.

At the center of the platform, two trophies shone brightly:

From the perspective of ho plate, on the left was the Arican League Championship trophy, the William Harridge Trophy, commorating the forr Arican League Chairman Will Harridge. This silver cup was specially reforged this year, its design simplified to a single baseball, with a pennant fluttering behind.

The trophy on the right, with its entirely black body, took a simpler triangular prism form, with the word "Arican" inscribed in gold tallic paint on its surface—this was the Championship Series MVP trophy awarded to the player with the best performance throughout the Arican League Championship series.

Soon, amid the cheers of the Yankees Stadium ho fans, team owner Hal Steinbrenner, general manager Brian Cashman, head coach Joe Girardi and his team, along with all the New York Yankees players, ascended the stage, surrounding the trophies.

As the biggest contributor to this series, Lin Guanglai was surrounded by teammates like stars encircling the moon, enjoying the most fervent cheers from ho fans.

"After eight years, the World Series gas will return to New York, taking place at Yankee Stadium once more!"

In the center of the stage, when Lauren Jbara, TNT Television's star female host, uttered such words, waves of celebration erupted again from the stands of Yankee Stadium.

"Let's give all our congratulations to your 2017 Arican League champions, the New York Yankees!"

"Oh oh oh oh oh oh—" Behind her, the Yankees players shoulder to shoulder let out excited shouts, their faces completely overtaken by thrill and joy.

For most players on this young Yankees team, the World Series is an experience they've never had in their careers; just standing on this stage is enough to make them feel incredibly exhilarated.

After a simple opening, Jbara focused her gaze on Hal Steinbrenner, the team's owner: she extended her hand, signaling that he could raise the glittering Arican League Championship trophy as the team's representative.

As Hal Steinbrenner lifted the Arican League Championship trophy high above his head, behind the stage, black and white confetti fell from the sky, bringing the atmosphere in Yankee Stadium to a new climax.

Hal Steinbrenner then passed the trophy to Girardi beside him, who perford the sa trophy-lifting gesture before passing it to Lin Guanglai in the center of the crowd.

"This has been an incredible year, and we have an incredible group of players—among them are the league's best hitters, top-tier pitchers, and even a unicorn who excels in both offense and defense!"

"This team has had its peaks and valleys, but we've never doubted ourselves; we just work hard every day, which is why we're standing here—now we need just four more wins, Let's Go Yankees!!!"

Faced with Lauren Jbara's inquiry, Hal Steinbrenner's mood appeared quite excited:

After all, since he took over the Yankees from his late father, this was the first ti the team reached the World Series under his tenure—this was completely his own mark, Hal Steinbrenner's legacy to the team!
