"... It’s... it is deep..." — Tracing after stopping the bleeding of the cuts that weren’t as deathly as she had thought, Ewelina whispered, saddened for there was still flesh that shouldn’t see the light open out by the deep of the wound. — "I will press more on it for now. I brought a needle... I-I can sew it with hair..."

"With wife’s fur?"

"Yes..."

"... It’s not that deep."

"!?? Do you not see how your skin is open!?"

"Woman, it’s fine."

"No...! I said it is not...!" — Trying to hold back frustrated drops from falling off her lids again, Ewelina’s reprimand could not sound as strong as her rage... for the tremble of her voice could not hold the yell for a second, turning quickly into a mumble.

"Fatædi." — Pulling the arm pressing on his wound, Aslak called so her eyes could look at him, holding her so in her weakness, Ewelina wouldn’t fall even while kneeling before him. — "It’s alright, it doesn’t hurt... Just stop..."

"nh..." — Biting her lip when eting his eyes, a pained expression was all she could manage. Yet crawling nearer to the man, her hand drew up to take his countenance. To tell with fading sound. — "Husband... your beautiful eyes... even from your ears..."

"... The kid needs control."

"... I do not believe it does not hurt..."

"If I say it hurts, will you stop showing that expression?"

"... No..."

"Then it doesn’t hurt."

"... Hah... haha... it is a lie..."

Letting her forehead rest on the man’s, she felt a montary laugh erge at the straightforward ways of her wild man, whose hands did not lose the chance to take her and caress the woman’s figure to dedicate the affection only ant for his lung.

"It isn’t... Fatædi, what about you? You’ve been trembling, and I saw you fell... Co. Let see if you’re bruised."

"Ah... no, I-I am fine." — Halting the motion of his hand to peek at her legs, Ewelina declared.

Yet the man stared into the gaze of brown anxiety, conveying the truth she wished to hide unbeknownst her effort. Therefore, the mont was enough for Aslak to act upon it.

"I don’t think so. Kir!"

"?! Aie, your grace!?" — From a distance the busy constable replied to the yell of his Master.

"Raise few tents! We can’t move anymore for today!"

"Aie! I already told tha n! There’s one for ya over there!" — Pulling a man’s arm to help him stand, Kir inford. Receiving the sharp nod of his Lord to continue his tasks.

Imdiately after, the spouse stood from the ground taking along the worried woman to walk her to the tent in the direction his trusted guard had signalled.

"W-we are not moving anymore today??" — Looking around her, Ewelina inquired, aware by the sight yet also concerned for the terrain was of the beasts to reign. — "W-will that be alright??"

"We can’t move well after this. A Brain Morose’s death is good. If we stay close to its corpse, its sll will keep the other creatures away for a while. Don’t worry."

"... Umh... a-alright... but..." — Pulling on the rough hand of the husband guiding her fast through the deathly ground, Ewelina made him veer around, concerned still for his speed could be bad for his wound. — "Husband, your blood is already flowing again... please move slowly..."

"... Haaah. This woman." — Turning his head, a frustrated mumble of a sigh left him, for he beca aware of how badly she cared, although her appearance was as dishevelled as any other that engaged in battle.

In quiet, he did as requested, holding tightly the hand of the woman whose cold sweat continued to invade a usually warr temperature. Soon reaching the humble tent prepared, both caught a glimpse of a little girl that, once eting their eyes, lowered her head, saddened while tending the mounts.

"... Ewelina." — Calling for his depressed wife, the man invited her into the tent. Giving a last glance to the child before following her inside.

"... Nu... she feels guilty..." — The woman let out blank in thought.

"She’ll be fine."

"... How do you know? Nu is small. Things at her age feel even stronger..."

"I’ll tell her it’s fine. She controlled it enough not to kill along that Skull."

"!? Don’t say such a thing!"

"..."

"..... I dislike it."

Bothered by the silence of the man that nonchalantly observed her reprimand, Ewelina’s voice ultimately lowered to another trembling mumble which was followed by his smooth movent to stand before her and take the arm he knew would be bruised to take a look at its skin.

"... I gripped you too strongly... Tsk. Show your legs."

"! Wait. I told you not to move much!" — Alard by his fast bent down, Ewelina uselessly said as her skirt was pulled up by his hands, letting the sight of red and strong purple be seen on her knees and ankles.

"... Damn it... Fatædi..." — Caressing her limb Aslak frowned upon the unnatural colour.

Provoking her tremble to the touch, shutting her lids and voice to it to finally follow her husband to the ground. — "... It- it does not hurt."

"... Hah. I can see now why it annoys you to hear that."

"Haha... husband... I think I will need to sew these cuts... your flesh is exposed..."

"Bandages will do... but... Getting wounds might be a good thing." — Observing how her fingers carefully touched around his injury, Aslak impulsively uttered to the woman kneeling in front of him.

"?? What are you saying? How is it a good thing?!?"

"Uff, woman." — Annoyed by her alarm, Aslak sighed. Telling his anings with a frown at her persistent worry. — "You barely touch as much as you can of . Your fingers keep stroking my wound, that’s why."

"... That is... Solely don’t get injured so I will touch you. Husband is an extre man. It would not be strange for you to act recklessly."

"Hm... Alright."

"?! Were you planning on it?!"

"... I wasn’t. Co here, Fatædi..." — Preventing their separation, the man held her arms from drawing apart, grinning mischievously to softly request her affection. — "Let have you in my arms. Last night even that was deprived of while we slept."

"... Yet your wound..."

"It’s not as serious as you think. Co." — Pulling her so she would settle on his lap, the man persisted. Wrapping his arms around her to purr into her sweaty neck as the woman was cuddled. — "Grmm... Fatædi. Don’t drift away next ti. It made mad..."

"... I will not. I promise I will not, husband." — Feeling the warmth of her spouse, she beca emotional to his caresses, for Aslak was holding her firmly and reassuringly in his strong arms.

Deep inhalation was taken by the man that felt pleasant to the sensation of her softness. And eventually, he exhaled the desire to stay like this, feeling her simple existence.

"Let’s rest like this until tomorrow, Fatædi... sohow, I miss out mattress at a ti like this."

"... Haha... Yes... I do too, husband. Nonetheless, let bandage your wound first. I am to settle back into your arms right after, hm?"

"... Alright."

Giving in to the woman, Aslak grood her hair, agreeing on how their evening would follow.
