Biting the air around the lips that smiled at his sayings, Ewelina made his wild playfulness end with a last kiss the man purred to, with elated sensation.
The woman drifted after taking his jaw as firmly as her frailness permitted, inhaling his manly toughness and whispering her delighted agreent.
"...I-I’ll stay alert..."
"mhmm..." — Entranced by the shyness she conveyed even when excited, Aslak caressed his nose against the peak of hers. — "Let’s stand now. Or soone will co and wife will be upset."
"Haha... Yes. Let’s..." — Standing along the man, Ewelina carefully reincorporated herself, already freed from the belt that guarded her fall.
Dropping the belts around his legs the man shook away the dirt his clothing gained with their fall. Nonetheless, he glanced at the woman that rely stared, to sneer and tease her.
"Want to shake your dirt?"
"! I barely got dirty... Husband is mischievous." — She retorted after shaking a speck of dust from her knees, taking the hand the man had extended so they would walk together, into the near village and retrieving their cloaks.
With intertwined fingers, the married couple paced with a light ambience. Each feeling pleasant at the relationship they were developing.
Soon, the tents of the savages made paths they would take, and both noticed as more length was crossed that little to no one was in Kleifar.
"Oi." — To a busy wildman, Aslak suddenly spoke. — "Where are the others."
"?! Ai~ Myrkzver, you’re here!" — Surprised, the man perked up as he saw the couple, still holding hands as Aslak walked ahead with a nacing stance. — "Tha Head was told by the Earth that a nice hunt would co around today. We’re having a Feast once they arrive. We’ll be offering so blood at the Altar today."
"... Did Trur say what the beasts were?"
"Wild Boars... The boasting ones." — Smirking, the man inford, taking a big pile of wood he kept near his tent to move it to the ntioned Altar and the Plains of Brusque. — "They should be back any mont. Hehe... We’ll eat juicy at."
"Hah." — Aslak grinned accordingly to the real feast this ant and grasping his wife’s hand better, he pulled Ewlina to follow the path the fellow savage turned to leave. — "Co, woman. Apparently, we fell right on ti to feed our stomachs."
His impulse demonstrated his excitent, and as surprising as such innocent intensity her husband portrayed as he smiled taking her through the tents, Ewelina then decided to inquire about the motives. Truly interested in what made her usually blunt and harsh partner appear so expectant.
"huff! Husband? W-where are we rushing to?"
Slightly out of breath, although he chose a pace she could still follow with her legs length, the woman comnced.
"The Altar. We better be there once they arrive." — Anticipating the event, Aslak released her hand to take off his footwear.
"O-oh... Yet, why?" — Following his action she asked, slightly dazed at the rush she had been put through. However, she did not manage to take her footwear off. For the man quickly shoved his own onto her hands for her to carry, as his arms vigorously lifted the woman over his shoulder to cross the stream.
"?!? Ah- wait!"
"You’re not allowed to fall sick. We hurry so the butcher can start sooner." — Already stepping into the stream, Aslak inford.
Her words could not continue to be told. The chaotic cross of the waters and her wish to not lose grasp of her husband’s footwear, disabled Ewelina to do so. And even yet, after reaching the other side...
"?!? H-husba-Nd???"
"Your strides are slow."
"!!!"
The man continued barefoot to also carry her to the Altar they should wait for the others at. While his speed was as chaotic as the colliding waters of the river. Shaking her throughout their path and causing her lips to tighten as the man sped up.
The track was long for her who felt shaken at the circumstances, however, it was not for a lengthy ti that she was carried since the man took a speed that the woman had not witnessed before.
Ewelina’s shut lids only ca to open once he sat on a void tree trunk simulating the shape of a chair with its high and rustic back that appeared to be growing branches. Making her seat on his lap to take the footwear and leave it at the side of the plain platform a dark stoner rock created.
"Haaaa... Now let’s wait for them." — He said, stroking her back as he leaned back in leisure. Permitting Ewelina to realise the other two seats to his sides and the sight of a few other savages and children that secretly peeked and giggled at the couple’s sight.
"! Aslak, how could you carry like that before everyone!?" — In reprimanding tone she whispered, failing to raise as his grasp wouldn’t let the woman leave his lap. — "I will seat over there! Let go of , ruthless man."
"No. Fatædi is fine here."
"Selfish man, lose your grip... If we are seen like this it may allow our people to think badly of myself."
"They lose the head if they do."
"... Spouse. You cannot do that." — Still held by his strength Ewelina softly told him, moved for she sohow knew his sayings were honest.
Her eyes drifted to look behind, where the savages that stayed behind prepared what appeared to be a great bonfire. Stopping the lean of her fierce husband that was almost growling at the idea of her statents.
"Do let go." — Placing her hand over that one he firmly kept on her back, Ewelina patiently told Aslak. — "I wish to aid in preparations too."
"You don’t–"
"Besides." — Halting more words from her scowling man, the Archduchess’s tenderness raised. Taking his reluctant fingers with tempting strokes to remind him there was an agreent both recently had convened. — "I promise I will be alert... Let us behave properly before your people... We also ought to respect them."
"... I’ll go too."
"Husband may stay. After all... You wish to go so sight of will not be lost, do you not?"
"..."
"It is alright. I am not to leave your sight... As I also will not lose sight of my spouse. Rember... I said I would stay alert."
The caress of her hand that took his jaw this ti made Aslak gulp to the sweetness of the woman, who finished her words with that one innocent and proper affection they were permitted so anyone could see... And he had co to deeply like ever since the first demonstration...
