Chapter 147: Soul Return
Seven asked Li Xiandao, “Are you saying that she is only a clone?”
Heaven Heart and the others looked at Li Xiandao and at Qiu Bai laying in the ice coffin. Did that look like a clone?
“That’s right, it is highly possible that it is.” Li Xiandao nodded his head.
“When I signed the contract I was sure that she was the sole consciousness.” Seven rembered clearly that she only signed it after confirming Qiu Bai’s identity.
Li Xiandao smiled, “In this world, clones aren’t things with no emotions; so are totally different from the main body. They have different thoughts, different mories, different personalities. So of them want to replace the main personality and so want to be independent and unrestricted.”
Seven looked at Qiu Bai in shock, “So, she needed 10 Human Celestial Pills to break away from the main body?”
Deep in thought, Li Xiandao nodded his head as he looked at Qiu Bai.
The snow lotus-like soul fla slowly seeped into the corpse. The snow-white glow lit up the entire body and caused it to loosen. Only then did her smile appear so beautiful.
Youth! Beauty!
That sect said that even at the mont of death, Qiu Bai was like a teen who didn’t age at all. That was sothing quite unbelievable.
“Since she is the clone of soone else, then how can she die?” Lucifer was curious. If he was the one, he wouldn’t have let his clone die.
Even if the clone fought to the death, it was better than dying of old age.
Li Xiandao walked around the coffin and said, “Why do you think that the Master must be able to control the actions and thoughts of the clone?”
Lucifer was speechless. He thought about it and realized that it was true.
“If Qiu Bai can be controlled, then she wouldn’t have co to the Bank of the Universe and wouldn’t have been able to sign the contract. She too wouldn’t have been able to get the 10 Human Celestial Pills.” Teacher Li was lecturing Lucifer.
“But she couldn’t totally break off from the main body and thus needed the Human Celestial Pill to do so. However, by the looks of it, she failed.” Li Xiandao looked at Qiu Bai and said regretfully.
The other people all looked on regretfully. As Li Xiandao explained the situation, everything beca really clear.
“Do you understand now?” Teacher Li asked.
“Understood.” Everyone nodded their heads and all their qualms were solved.
The Bank of the Universe’s contract was correct. Since Qiu Bai was not dead, the contract wouldn’t be trashed either.
But Moon Angel and their investigation were correct too. Qiu Bai was dead and they weren’t able to claim the items from the contract.
This wasn’t contradictory because Qiu Bai was a clone and even if she died, as long as the clone was still alive, her contract remained valid.
“Maybe Qiu Bai can be revived.” Li Xiandao said firmly.
“How?” Seven looked at Li Xiandao in shock.
“She has been dead for 50 years.” Heaven Heart reminded Li Xiandao.
“Her corpse has already hardened,” Lucifer added.
“Her soul is gone.” Usuna interrupted too.
Li Xiandao looked as the last bit of soul fla rged into her body, “So, what if she has been dead for 50 years?”
“Her corpse is as good as a live one and has been kept in great condition.” Li Xiandao replied.
Heaven Heart didn’t say anything.
“Her corpse has hardened, but hasn’t it softened?” Li Xiandao pointed.
Lucifer looked at Qiu Bai and stopped saying anything.
“As for her soul being lost, this soul fla is her chance of reviving.” Li Xiandao said confidently.
Usuna looked at Li Xiandao and wanted to see what idea this Master had to help Qiu Bai revive.
Li Xiandao’s ti as a teacher had ended. Next, he fully focused on Qiu Bai. The mont the soul fla totally rged, he slapped forwards and true qi surged into her body.
Explosion!
With that, Li Xiandao opened her dantian and all her ridians.
“All-direction Energy Leading Technique!”
Li Xiandao used one of the techniques he learned from Beginning of the Soul to tug at Qiu Bai’s soul.
“Soul Return!”

Li Xiandao gave out a long and sad call.
His expression was really solemn. A bright light exploded from his body which ca from the soul summoning energy from the technique.
Ancient Desolate Land could preserve anything. Over 50 years, Li Xiandao didn’t know how much of her soul remained but just a bit of it would be able to let her awaken.
“To think soone only at Dao Saint would have such a strong soul fla. That is your biggest weakness. Your soul fla has a bit of the main body which is why you can’t die.” Li Xiandao said firmly. He had to save Qiu Bai.
As long as he revived her, he would know who her Master was.
Li Xiandao really wanted to know which expert could produce such an amazing clone.
Dong dong dong!
“Within the Trading Hall, there was loud thunder all around. Nurous mystical things climbed out from the outside and they were all attracted to her by the All-direction Energy Leading Technique.
“Scram!”
Li Xiandao frowned. He didn’t expect that all these random ghosts would charge over. He opened the Bank of the Universe to attract Qiu Bai’s soul but these vengeful spirits and ghosts ended up surging in.
Their arrival also caused the Bank of the Universe to be really packed such that Qiu Bai’s soul couldn’t enter.
Clang!
Along with Li Xiandao’s cold shout, a sharp sword glow slashed down on the area around him.
Explosion!
He chased away the group of demons with just one sword!
Those evil spirits and vengeful ghosts cried out. After being hit by Li Xiandao’s sharp sword, all of them scattered.
The Bank of the Universe’s Trading Hall suddenly quietened down.
Just at this mont, several illusionary figures floated in.
These illusions were about to scatter and they had no consciousness and no bodies either. The All-direction Energy Leading Technique was the one drawing them here.
Li Xiandao’s eyes shone with joy and he said, “Return!”
This was Qiu Bai’s soul and it had the sa essence as that of the soul fla. Li Xiandao imdiately shot them into Qiu Bai’s corpse.
Shortly after, many similarly small soul fragnts flew into the Bank of the Universe and were shot into Qiu Bai’s body.
This continued for a day and night and the number of fragnts were enough to piece together half of her soul. Only then did Li Xiandao close the Bank of the Universe.
“Wake up!” Li Xiandao slapped her and rich life flas burst out from the soul fla. It burned bright and chased away all of the deathly energy from within her body.
Qiu Bai’s life force started to slowly appear and fill her body.
Li Xiandao heaved a sigh of relief and took several steps back. He stood tall with his arms behind his back. With his mask on, one couldn’t see his expression, but from his eyes, one could tell that he was really satisfied.
Seven walked to Li Xiandao’s side and asked, “Are you tired?”
Li Xiandao looked at Seven with a weird expression.
What do you an?
“Do you need to help massage you?” Seven suggested.
“There are people here.” Li Xiandao replied.
“Oh forget it.” Seven left right away.
“When there is no one, then help .” Li Xiandao pulled her ponytail to stop her and projected his voice into her mind.
Seven’s face turned red.
