Dapper began explaining his system to Ruth, who sat with her chin resting on her palms, her eyes fixed on him the entire ti, not looking away for even a second.

He laid everything bare, holding nothing back, while Ruth remained silent, simply staring at him.

"So, you have *that* kind of system, huh?" Ruth finally said, causing Dapper to let out a sigh. He knew what she ant—"that type" referred to cheating n in this world who deceived their partners by hiding the fact that their systems required sexual acts or had perverted conditions. It had practically beco a cliche excuse among unfaithful n.

Now that her own husband was saying sothing similar, Ruth couldn’t help but feel conflicted.

"What do you really want in a woman? I... I tried so hard to be the best wife for you, b-but you still found reasons to look at other won. Do my feelings even matter to you?" Ruth asked, her voice trembling as tears welled in her eyes.

Dapper had expected this. It was exactly why he waited until the right mont to tell her. He had already prepared for this reaction—he had a counterasure ready.

"Darling, I won’t lie to you. Just take a look at this," Dapper said, gesturing for Ruth to look up.

’Activate screen share.’ Dapper said inwardly.

[Screen Share Activated. Third parties can now view the Host’s system panel. Visibility is limited. Card duration: One minute.]

"Screen Share" was a utility card Dapper had purchased from the system store. The mont he saw it, he knew it would be useful for this exact situation.

Suddenly, a glowing panel appeared before them. Ruth’s eyes widened as she saw the familiar system interface—but it wasn’t hers. It was Dapper’s.

"How did you do that?" she murmured in disbelief.

She quickly wiped her face and leaned forward, inspecting the panel closely, her eyes scanning every detail.

"You need to have sex to earn life points? But... you can earn those with —" she suddenly stopped when her eyes caught the bold condition stating he needed to have sex with different won in order to reset the point-earning process. She also noticed another clause indicating that daily sex was a requirent or else he would die. Though the panel’s information was limited, the brief still outlined the core conditions of Dapper’s system.

After a minute, the panel flickered and shattered like fragile glass, vanishing into thin air. Ruth sat frozen, her heart pounding, as a cold wave rushed through her body. A storm of conflicting emotions surged through her.

"Have you been cheating on this whole ti?" Ruth asked in a flat, cold tone.

"Yes. I’m sorry. I did it to survive," Dapper answered honestly.

Ruth’s expression darkened. She said nothing, just stood up and began patting down the sheets on the bed.

"I want to sleep," she muttered, lying down and pulling the covers over herself.

Dapper didn’t say another word. He quietly took a blanket and pillow, left the room, and made his way to the couch in the living room. He slumped down onto it with a heavy sigh.

"Man, I feel like complete shit... but I’d still rather her know the truth than continue lying. I won’t repeat the sa mistake from my previous life," Dapper muttered, recalling his ex-girlfriend—how he lied to her like a scumbag, a decision that eventually led to his death.

[Master, don’t worry. Just give her ti. It’s hard accepting that the person you love won’t be exclusive to you. Let her process it. But let ask... what if it gets worse? What if she says she’s done? And the property split isn’t finalized yet? If the marriage breaks before then, the deal’s off.]

’I hope it never cos to that... But even if it does, it’s better she hears the truth now than gets hurt later. I already have another plan in place if things go south. Life moves on.’

[Fufufu... as expected of my master. A true strategist. To think you already have a contingency plan for such an outco...]

Dapper had dozed off. By morning, he stirred awake, his eyes still groggy with sleep. Just then, Ruth walked downstairs, passing through the living room.

"Darling."

She didn’t reply, continuing toward the kitchen without glancing at him, eventually stepping inside.

"Sigh... she’s still mad. Man, I really hope what I’m scared of doesn’t happen. That’d really suck," Dapper muttered, leaning back against the couch.

’She’s probably just making breakfast,’ Dapper thought, trying to stay optimistic. But right then, Ruth exited the kitchen, holding only a glass of water in her hand, and walked straight back to the room—without so much as acknowledging his presence.

’Damn... she didn’t even cook like she used to,’ Dapper thought, feeling the sting of guilt. He was already falling for Ruth—the mories they had made, her radiant smile, the way her gentle nature embraced him. If things didn’t fall apart now, it would only hurt her more down the line.

Dapper shifted slightly and turned to see Lena suddenly standing right beside him.

"What the—! How did you get here?" he asked with a jolt in his voice. He could’ve sworn she hadn’t co down the stairs or anywhere within view.

"Good morning, master. Sorry for startling you. I used teleportation magic. Sadly, it only works at short range due to the mana cost," Lena explained politely.

"Oh..." Dapper mumbled, surprised not just that she could use magic but teleportation magic, no less.

"What level is teleportation magic? And also, can you form a fireball this small?" he asked, cupping his hands to indicate the size.

"Teleportation magic is a Level 5 spell, master. As for the fireball..." Lena said, then raised her palm and whispered, "Fireball."

Imdiately, a perfectly round fla hovered above her hand, just the size Dapper had shown. A few seconds later, it dispersed into fading embers.

’She has great mana control. I could really use her help!’

"Lena, co with . Let’s head outside!" Dapper said, energized, rising from the couch and making his way out.

They made their way to the open field section of the estate, a wide stretch covered in mowed grass with no objects around that could get damaged. There, Dapper explained what he wanted to learn from her.

"Master, could you try casting a spell first? I want to observe sothing," Lena requested gently.

"Oh, sure," Dapper said, smirking as he checked his grimoire inwardly.

Then, pointing at Lena’s skirt, he whispered, "Ventus Modentus."

Instantly, a gust of wind burst forth, flipping Lena’s skirt high into the air and revealing her panties underneath.

"Kyaaaa! What kind of perverted spell is that, master?!"
