Jiang Xiaoyue watched silently for a while before, unable to contain herself, asked, “Sister Qingxue, why do you apply so many layers of lotion? During sumr, I don’t even apply one layer. Are you always so fair because of the many applications?”
Beyond her beauty, the most enviable thing about Feng Qingxue was her skin, which was as white as snow and smooth as jade.

Each of them had a bowl of bean juice costing 3 cents. Jiang Xiaoyue had the salty version, while Feng Qingxue and Xibao preferred the sweet one. Together, they ate seven large at buns, two of them consud by Xibao alone, each bun costing a penny.
The stall owner couldn’t help but comnt, “Wow, such an appetite on the little fella. No wonder he’s growing up so chubby.”
“Lucky,” they kept saying he was “lucky,” but wasn’t “lucky” just another word for fat?
Feng Qingxue stared at Xibao’s round face subrged in his bowl of bean juice and said, “Xibao, you should eat less!”
Xibao looked up, his chubby cheeks sared with bean juice, “No, no, food, grow tall!”
A young boy at a neighboring table couldn’t help but burst out laughing upon hearing Xibao’s statent.
