Song Zijin strode forward, grabbed Sheng Yueyue’s pale wrist, and started pulling her out of the crowd.

Sheng Yueyue struggled with all her might, but it was no use. He dragged her toward the entrance.

She wanted to scream for help, but He Aijun clamped his hand tightly over her mouth, terrified she would say sothing else earth-shattering.

’Song... Song Zijin... He Aijun, I hate you,’ Sheng Yueyue scread in her heart.

She thrashed desperately, her eyes bloodshot as she glared at Song Zijin, wishing she could kill both n.

Seeing her like this, the onlookers beca even more certain that Sheng Yueyue had gone mad. They followed behind Song Zijin, eager for the spectacle.

One busybody asked, "Song Zijin, why don’t you just send her to your father-in-law’s house?"

"No, don’t you dare! The Sheng family wouldn’t have the heart to send a madwoman to the asylum, and then she’ll just be let out to harm people again."

"That’s right! If it weren’t for a big, strong man like Mr. He, an ordinary person would have been tackled by her!"

"Oh, for goodness’ sake, you two should just take her directly to the asylum. Don’t let her cause any more trouble for the people in our compound."

Since there was no asylum in the compound, He Aijun had to go find his older brother to borrow a car.

He Aijun drove while Song Zijin sat in the passenger seat. Sheng Yueyue was tied up and gagged.

The crowd enthusiastically saw them off to the compound gate, only turning back after looking over their shoulders every few steps. One busybody even ran to the Sheng Family’s ho to inform them.

He Aijun glanced at Sheng Yueyue in the rearview mirror. She looked like a madwoman, and he was now convinced she truly was insane.

But one question still nagged at him: how did this woman know how many moles he had on his leg?

He had never been intimate with any woman. Not even his older brother knew his secret.

Just as he was pondering this, he heard Song Zijin say, "Second Brother He, the madwoman knows your secret. Your older brother must have told her."

"Is my older brother close with her?" He Aijun was flabbergasted, his voice rising a few notches.

"How could she not know your older brother? She’s slept with him. That’s how she knows about the moles on your thigh."

"What? She was with my older brother too? Isn’t she your wife? How can this woman be so shaless?"

He Aijun’s eyes widened in disbelief. He stopped the car to look at Song Zijin, then at Sheng Yueyue.

Song Zijin said, "I can’t control that madwoman! What can I do? She’s sothing else. She drove her own parents to divorce."

"What? Eldest Brother Sheng’s parents are divorced? If you hadn’t told , I would’ve never imagined it."

"Sigh, it’s all because of the trouble this madwoman caused. We need to hurry up and get this nace to the asylum."

Sheng Yueyue: "..."

’There were a thousand things she wanted to say in her defense, but alas, her mouth was gagged!’

When they reached the asylum gates, He Aijun parked the car and pulled out the still-struggling Sheng Yueyue.

He yanked the dirty rag from Sheng Yueyue’s mouth and sneered, "You shouldn’t hate . You’re the one who’s crazy."

"How am I crazy? You despicable, shaless villain! You know perfectly well that what I said is the truth."

"..."

Seeing He Aijun fall silent, Song Zijin spoke with even more resentnt, "Sheng Yueyue, what’s so great about a secret you learned from He?"

"I didn’t learn it from him! I was his wife in my past life," Sheng Yueyue roared.

Her words startled He Aijun. In that instant, he suddenly believed her.

He was certain that his older brother didn’t know about the moles on his thigh. He had been puzzling over it the whole ti.

Now, he understood what was going on. But because of this, he was even more determined to put Sheng Yueyue in the asylum.

’Soone with an unguarded mouth like her... who knows how many people’s secrets she’ll expose? Wouldn’t that cause chaos?’

"You have a past life? Then tell , who did I marry in my past life?" Song Zijin asked casually, not believing a word.

"In your past life, you obviously married Gu Jiaojiao and even beca the richest man in Qing City! That’s why I was reborn and ca back to snatch you for myself, hahaha..."

"You damn madwoman, I hate you! Not only did you break up my first love with Gu Jiaojiao, you also ruined my reputation.

If it weren’t for you, Jiaojiao would never have broken up with , let alone married Su Shuochi!"

"That’s bullshit! You were clearly the one who seduced first! Otherwise, why would I have married you?"

Song Zijin roared, "Do you think everyone is as cheap as you, seducing anyone you see and willing to marry anyone who asks?"

Overco with rage, Song Zijin’s mind was suddenly flooded with images. They were all scenes from his sweet past with Gu Jiaojiao.

Sotis he would tease her on purpose, and she would run ho crying to tattle to her third older brother.

Then her third brother would co over to fight him, but she would give him all the candy from her pockets.

He even rembered her telling him what her favorite foods were...

The more he thought, the uglier his expression beca. It felt as if a hand had seized his heart and was squeezing it rcilessly.

"Sheng Yueyue, you’re not human! You’re a despicable demon! I’m going to tell the doctors at the asylum that you’re a demon in disguise."

Hearing Song Zijin’s words, Sheng Yueyue finally felt a flicker of fear. Her eyes bulged, wider than a bull’s.

She stared fixedly at Song Zijin. "Do you have to be so cruel? Everyone says, ’A day as husband and wife ans a hundred days of kindness; a hundred days together creates a bond as deep as the sea.’"

"We are not husband and wife, and you are not my wife! You’re a devil! I never should have fallen for your tricks in the first place.

Then Jiaojiao would be my wife, and becoming the richest man in Qing City, let alone the richest in the Empire, would have been within reach!"

Song Zijin was filled with regret. He finally saw the reality of how foolish it was to have chosen Sheng Yueyue.

Before, his second uncle had constantly told his grandfather how amazing Gu Jiaojiao was.

He had been deceiving himself, refusing to believe it, because he didn’t think his own judgnt could be that poor.

But Sheng Yueyue’s words had been a wake-up call. It turned out Gu Jiaojiao really was that amazing.

’In my past life, I lived a glorious life because I married her. Did this madwoman think I was the capable one, so she was reborn just to snatch for herself?’

At this mont, he even began to think that Su Shuochi’s current success was all thanks to Gu Jiaojiao.

Thinking of this, Song Zijin burst out laughing. "Haha... In your past life, you saw beco the richest man, so you thought I was the capable one and dumped Second Brother He to marry , didn’t you?"

"..."

As shaless as Sheng Yueyue could be, she couldn’t bring herself to deny this fact.

Just as she was considering whether to admit it, she heard He Aijun’s furious voice.

"Song Zijin, what are you talking about! The madwoman dumped ? Even without you, I wouldn’t marry a demon who destroys other people’s families!"

"You... you’re taking this too far! I’m not crazy at all! I want to..."

"Sheng Yueyue, the biggest regret of my life is marrying a demon like you. Whether you’re crazy or not doesn’t matter anymore."

Song Zijin clenched his fists. He had made his decision. He would leave her in the asylum and let her truly go mad forever.
