Sister-in-law Ding Ruman was preparing baby food for the child, and my brother Tang Yu was not at ho.

Everyone was both surprised and delighted to see her co back so late in the evening.

Mother Tang hurriedly hugged her grandson and asked with concern, "You haven’t had dinner yet, have you? Let make you so noodles."

"Yes, yes, there’s still so cured at in the fridge, you loved that when you were a kid," Father Tang said, grinning from ear to ear.

Ding Ruman quickly said, "Dad, Mom, you two should go rest. I’ll make dinner for Third Aunt myself."

Tang Jing quickly placed the cake and snacks she brought on the table and went to the kitchen to help.

"Is my brother still not back yet?"

Ding Ruman turned her head and smiled at her, "He’s still at the office! The economy is doing well lately, so he’s really busy, and he often has to coordinate with overseas clients. I often see him working late at night. I’ll deliver so stew to him later."

Only then did Tang Jing notice the small pot on the side, simring with sothing inside, and she couldn’t help but praise, "You’re really good at managing the house."

There isn’t a lack of a maid in Tang Yu’s house, but the Tang family and Ding Ruman aren’t used to the maid’s Cantonese cuisine. So generally, the maid prepares breakfast, while lunch and dinner are cooked by Ding Ruman or Mother Tang.

Everyone has an easygoing personality, not liking to fuss over small things, getting along very well.

Ding Ruman quickly gestured for silence, "Don’t say that, or Mom will start urging you to hurry and find a husband to manage a household yourself."

Tang Jing blushed and said sowhat embarrassedly, "Actually, I ca back this ti because of marriage. My boyfriend’s family elders are coming to visit tomorrow."

Ding Ruman’s hand shook in surprise, her eyes widening, and she imdiately raised her voice like an announcent, "Dad~ Mom~ Third Aunt’s significant other is coming to visit us tomorrow!"

"What, what? Did I hear that right?" Mother Tang rushed over holding her grandson, with Father Tang right behind her.

The old couple blocked the kitchen door.

Mother Tang anxiously pulled Tang Jing aside, "Sweetheart, when did you start seeing soone? Why didn’t you ntion such a big thing earlier? Oh no, when are they coming tomorrow? We haven’t prepared anything in advance. You silly girl, so irresponsible!"

Mother Tang beca more worried as she talked, almost losing her composure.

Ding Ruman quickly reassured her, "Mom, don’t panic, if Third Aunt isn’t reliable, I’m here! Tomorrow morning, I’ll have soone go to the pier to get seafood, and beef and pork. I’ll also go to the market to get a free-range chicken and duck. I’ll take care of the groceries, we’ll have everything ready by nine o’clock."

Mother Tang asked again, "What ti are they arriving? How many people are coming?"

Tang Jing, not knowing any details, was pressured by the family and had to call Xu Jian directly to inquire.

"Mom, my boyfriend says they’ll arrive around ten in the morning tomorrow. Is that okay for us?"

Tang Jing blinked innocently.

Mother Tang was so excited she almost jumped, "Of course, it’s okay! I need to check if there are suitable clothes in the closet for , got to dress up properly tomorrow."

"Yes! I need to check too." Ding Ruman followed Mother Tang inside.

Father Tang pointed at Tang Jing, speechless and not even knowing what to say to her.

Of all the children in the family, only Tang Jing’s future was unplanned. Now, Tang Jing suddenly announced her partner’s visit, which was like a joyful surprise for the anxious old couple, clearing their worries.

The whole Tang family was in a kind of chaotic excitent because of Tang Jing’s news.

Ding Ruman almost forgot to send Tang Yu the stew.

The next morning, as soon as Tang Jing got up, she found her brother Tang Yu on the balcony brewing tea, as if waiting for her.

She went over to sit down, "Not working today?"

Tang Yu gave a face of reproach, "Sis, your partner is coming over, how can I go to work? Co on, tell , what’s the background of your boyfriend?"

Previously, he had introduced partners to Tang Jing, all of which were work associates with great qualifications, and they wanted partners with high academic achievents. Tang Jing turned them all down, telling him not to ss around. As they lived far apart, after a few unsuccessful attempts, Tang Yu gave up, thinking Tang Jing might end up single, even joking that his son might have to care for his aunt in her old age. He never imagined Tang Jing found soone herself!

Tang Jing looked out into the distance, her smile forming unconsciously, and she looked down and said, "Actually, you know his family; rember my college roommate, Xinyue?"

Tang Yu nodded, slightly dazed, "The really pretty lady who helped us out at the street stall to make money, must rember; what about her?"

"It’s her older cousin!"

Tang Yu understood imdiately and felt even more serious about Tang Jing’s marriage, "Sis, if that’s the case, I need to prepare well and entertain properly today!"

Chen Xinyue was a benefactor to both brother and sister. Tang Yu wouldn’t be where he was without Chen Xinyue’s help initially. Over the years, he’s always wanted to thank her properly, but never had the chance.

Now, Tang Jing found Chen Xinyue’s older cousin as a partner, which gave him the opportunity to return the favor!

Tang Yu then inford the family about their connection to Chen Xinyue.

Mother and Father Tang’s attitude towards their future son-in-law changed imdiately; they were honest people and had no intentions of making things difficult for the prospective son-in-law. Knowing all this, they were ready to support their daughter marry without any objections.

Ding Ruman urgently called the market boss to order more premium dishes.

At ten in the morning.

Amidst the Tang family’s anticipation, Lin Ying, Lin Qin, and Xu Jian arrived, each holding large bags of gifts.

The three of them were warmly welcod by the entire Tang family as soon as they entered the door.

Such enthusiasm left Lin Ying a bit bewildered.

It wasn’t until Tang Jing made introductions to Lin Qin, and Tang Yu expressed gratitude to Lin Qin, that they figured out what was going on.

Lin Ying subtly tugged at Lin Qin’s sleeve.

With years of sisterly understanding, Lin Qin instantly grasped her aning, skillfully handling negotiations with Father Tang and Mother Tang, while occasionally praising Xu Jian.

Looking at the tall and handso Xu Jian, Mother Tang was absolutely satisfied and asked habitually, "Does Xiao Xu work back ho or here in the provincial city with our Jingjing?"

The old couple had figured from thinking it over the previous night that their daughter and Xu Jian must have started dating because they worked in the sa place. After all, long-distance relationships aren’t fashionable now.

They didn’t even understand what online dating was.

Xu Jian cheerfully shook his head, explaining, "I do business in Guangdong Province. I t Jingjing when my cousin got married. Later, my sister went to the university where Jingjing works, and we reunited and gradually got together."

Mother Tang was thrilled, slapping her thigh robustly, "It’s great to be in Guangdong Province! We live here now and don’t go back ho much, so we’ll be close and can visit easily."

Father Tang nodded vigorously in agreent.

They were thoroughly pleased with Xu Jian.

To them, with their son-in-law in Guangdong Province and the maternal family also living there, they were sure their daughter would be coming back.
