Chapter 750: Chapter 749: Returning Ho in Anger_1 Chapter 750: Chapter 749: Returning Ho in Anger_1 Fan Wei breathed a sigh of relief, waiting for Jiang Nanfei to storm out and never co back. She embarrassedly proposed a break up with her commander, and her commander, being a proud man as he was, wouldn’t possibly pander to a capricious woman.

“Fan Wei!” Nanfei breathed out slowly before responding, “What you said was quite right, but you got two points wrong!”

“What are those two points?” Fan Wei asked with a smile, “Tell , Nanfei, and I will rectify my mistakes.”

“Firstly, it’s hardly difficult for Huo Beijiang to reach his current height. His grandfather is a retired military commander, his uncle is the second-in-command of the General Staff, and his cousin is a junior general. He himself graduated from the military academy with top honors and ca to be the King of Soldiers in one of the six major military regions…”

Nanfei scoffed mockingly, “Do you think it was tough for him to get to where he is now? All of this is nothing more than a piece of cake for him. Do you believe position and status are most important to him? Wrong.”

“For him, responsibility far surpasses position.”

Fan Wei’s face was filled with embarrassnt. She had rely heard that their commander had a notable background, but she had no idea it was to such an extent. Thinking about what she had just said, she felt her face burning with humiliation.

“Also——” Nanfei spoke with an increasingly cold expression, “I am doing this for his sake, even if it ans sacrificing my own happiness. If I ever leave him, it would only harm him.”

Fan Wei understood Nanfei’s words. Her heart was chaotic, but considering she wasn’t soone inexperienced in life, her psychological quality was much stronger than ordinary people and she still had an innocent and confused look on her face.

“I don’t understand! Can you stop being angry, Nanfei? I’ll go boil so water, you wait here at ho.” After Fan Wei finished speaking, she picked up the water bottle to leave, but it was forcefully snatched by Nanfei when she passed by her.

“No need! You wait here, I’ll go.”

Nanfei took the water bottle and left. There was no change in her placid expression, but once she stepped out of the house, all her pretenses lted away.

She spoke so grandly just now, but how could any woman keep her cool when she has to watch a romantic rival flaunting right in front of her?

Nanfei was so angry that she threw the water bottle on the ground. She refused to fetch water for her love rival.

“Huo Beijiang, you bastard!” Nanfei admitted that she was extrely furious now, wishing she could drag Huo Beijiang over and give him a good beating.

In the future Huo Beijiang might as well change his na, might as well call him troublemaker.

She couldn’t bear to stay there any longer and started to walk back the way she ca towards the main building. As she approached the entrance, she saw Lu Jin coming out.

“Lu Jin!”

“Mom?” Lu Jin blurted out.

Nanfei: “…”

“I’m sorry!” Lu Jin suddenly realized that calling soone this, and soone younger than him, might scare her. He hurried over and began to explain awkwardly, “The thing is, when we were at Snow Eagle, everyone said I was our commander’s biological son, so…”

Nanfei understood but instead of saying it was okay, she changed her wording, “Don’t call that. I’m not qualified to be your mother.”

“Ah?” Lu Jin gasped quietly as he realized he had put his foot in his mouth.

“Could you please drive ho?”

“But our commander is still with the general, we could wait for him to finish up and then he can drive you ho.”

“No! If you don’t want to drive , I’ll walk back by myself.”

“That can’t be done!” The location was way too remote and the road back could be dangerous, never mind the fact that it was too far and she would still be walking by dawn. “Wait here, I will inform our commander.”
