Chapter 666: Chapter 666: Settling the Account at One’s Door_1 Chapter 666: Chapter 666: Settling the Account at One’s Door_1 “Even if he didn’t know, that’s his issue, isn’t it? If his son turned out crooked, isn’t that the father’s problem?”

Dai Yifan touched his nose, knowing that no matter what he said at this ti, his grandfather wouldn’t listen. In reality, over the years, Minister Wei had focused all his remaining energy on Wei Qin, and indeed neglected his younger son.

Wei An had actually been closer to the people of the Lu Family since childhood.

“Alright then! You go with Xin Xin to the hospital to check on the situation! After it’s over, pick up my apprentice, I am going to settle things with Wei Fangyi.”

The siblings startled.

“Grandpa, let it go! Let’s take this slow! You shouldn’t act rashly.”

“Exactly, is Minister Wei that easy to find?”

Dai Jinhai glares, “What? Do you think he would dare to not see , an old man, showing up?”

“Enough! Xin Xin, stop trying to stop him! I believe Grandfather knows his boundaries. Moreover, Minister Wei isn’t that kind of person.” Dai Yifan has been good friends with Wei Qin for so many years, and they grew up together. He had a good understanding of his good brother’s father.

Although Minister Wei held a high position, he didn’t put on airs.

“Okay then!”

After the siblings left, Dai Jinhai had erged from ho, walking along the small path of the large courtyard towards the innermost house. Upon reaching the Wei family’s front door, he noticed the security guard standing outside, a glint appeared in Dai Jinhai’s eyes, this ant that Wei Fangyi was ho!

Hmph! No wasted trip, today he demanded an explanation from him.

“Halt!” The security guard, not recognizing Dai Jinhai, pointed his gun at the man trying to force his way in.

“I’m here to see Wei Fangyi, tell him Dai Jinhai has arrived.”

“You wait here!” The guard shot him a dubious look, understanding that this man must live in the heavily fortified courtyard. Without missing a beat, he turned and went inside.

anwhile, Wei Fangyi was entertaining guests in his study. Two young n sat across from him. One was tall and lean with sharp features and an imposing presence. The other was thin and pallid, well-mannered and refined, exuding a noble aura.

These two n were Huo Beijiang and Wei Qin.

Wei Qin, however, sat in a wheelchair, his eyes downcast under the study’s lighting reflecting on his face, casting a dark shadow. This shaded part made him appear colder and more isolated, as if he belonged to a different world, unaffected by its noise and hustle.

Huo Beijiang lightly tapped his leg, “I rember, your health wasn’t this poor when we were children, right?”

Wei Qin’s lips were very pale, he lowered his head slightly to cough, seemingly unconcerned by Huo Beijiang’s actions. A hint of a warm smile graced his lips.

“How many years has it been since you left?”

Huo Beijiang scratched his nose, “That’s true! I used to call you weak as a kid. Turns out, my words were prophetic!”

Listening to Huo Beijiang belittle his son, the corners of Wei Fangyi’s mouth twitched involuntarily. He wanted to scold him, but seeing the rare smile on his son’s face, he hesitated. He could only sigh internally. He had long ago noticed that Huo Beijiang was a troublemaker.

Back then, he was always bullying Wei Qin, but the rest of the children in the courtyard still preferred to play with him.

After Huo Beijiang left, Wei Qin was devastated for a long ti. Perhaps they both were unaware, but Wei Fangyi rembered it very clearly. Maybe because he always knew that his son’s health was fragile and he could lose him at any ti, he engrained every event related to Wei Qin deep within his heart.
