Chapter 217: Chapter 217: Failing Again_1 Chapter 217: Chapter 217: Failing Again_1 “Sis, what should we do about my little brother’s poor school performances? He might have to repeat the grade again when the new sester starts. If he keeps this up, he’ll probably get expelled,”

“Don’t worry about it,” Nan Fei had already planned out her brother’s path in life. “Jiang Yang is not foolish, let alone stupid. He’s just autistic. It’s an illness, but he’s actually very smart,”

Zhuanzhuan’s smile froze, replaced by confusion and anxiety.

Noticing the change, Nan Fei frowned. “What’s wrong?”

“No…” Zhuanzhuan shook her head in urgency, “Nothing, I’m fine. What did you just say about my brother?”

“Oh! He’s got autism, a common ntal disorder,” said Nan Fei, whose topic was diverted. “I’ll work hard to earn money to send Jiang Yang to a specialized school. He will get better slowly. Besides, both of our grades are pretty good. I believe Jiang Yang’s IQ is even higher.”

Zhuanzhuan was pouting with brooding eyes, which cald down after a while.

“Sis, I need to go back with Jiang Yang this afternoon. Because I’m advancing to the upper class this year, I signed up in advance, so I won’t be able to visit you anymore. However, Brother-in-law will stay to take care of you,”

At the ntion of Huo Beijiang, Zhuanzhan smiled again, teasing: “Brother-in-law is really good to you! You cannot imagine how he looked when he heard you were swept away by the river.”

With that, she winked mischievously and ran off.

Nan Fei was left in her room, uncertain whether to laugh or cry.

In the adjoining room, Zhang Fengi had already completed the discharge procedures and was packing up her things.

Jiang Yang had changed his clothes and was standing still, staring unblinkingly at the scene outside.

As soon as Zhuanzhuan walked in and saw him like this, she went over, picked up the math textbook that sat on the bench, and began to coax Jiang Yang, “Brother, do you want to go see Sister Nan Fei?”

Jiang Yang’s dazed expression snapped back to clarity, he nodded rigorously to Zhuanzhuan.

“Alright then, answer one question and I will take you to see Sister Nan Fei!”

Jiang Yang stared at her more intently.

Zhuanzhuan had never noticed the aning behind Jiang Yang’s eyes before, so she did not understand it then. But her conversation with her sister urged her to pay more attention.

She noticed the difference.

His gaze was one of agreent, for her to proceed with the question.

Zhuanzhuan moved the math textbook slightly forward, asking,” Can you tell why your grades are so poor? Your sister has taught you many tis, why do you always score zero on every test?”

Yes, zero.

For their family, it was an unbelievable thing.

Both her sisters had always ranked first in their entire class since they started school. There was never a ti they ranked second. Only due to an early love affair during the last term, Nan Fei’s grades were affected, and she could not hold the first place.

However, their younger brother was continuously failing grades. He was still in junior high school, just in third grade. Those younger and shorter than him had already advanced to middle school. His exam scores were mostly zeroes and the only reason he progressed to third grade was an act of rcy because he couldn’t be held back any longer.

“Will you tell your sister?” Zhuanzhuan asked patiently, “Is it because it’s too difficult? Or is it because you didn’t listen carefully in class? Or maybe your mory is bad, and can’t retain anything?”

Jiang Yang blinked, a glimr of confusion in his eyes. Then he looked down at the math textbook, slowly reaching out his soft white fingers to trace the content.

He flipped it page by page, with the turning speed getting faster…and faster.

His fingers were as graceful as a fluttering butterfly—it was beyond belief.
