Chapter 1980: Chapter 1999: Unexpected Delight (Part 5)

“Slow down, why are you running so fast?”

Fu Xinwu rolled her eyes at Nan Fei, “I’ve been waiting forever for you guys to show up, and I’m starving.”

“My bad, my bad.” Nan Fei apologized sincerely.

He Shasha looked at the two of them and felt sothing was off. How long has it been? It seed like Fu Xinwu had straightened her spine? Before, every ti in front of Nan Fei, she was all ‘Aunty this’ and ‘Aunty that.’

Even her suck-up self couldn’t bear to watch.

Now she’s the oppressed farr singing songs, does her uncle know this?

“Let’s go, hurry up, let’s get so food.” Fu Xinwu didn’t even bother with He Shasha and dragged Nan Fei towards the cafeteria.

The graduate cafeteria is separate from the undergrad’s, less crowded, no need to queue, and many of them had already gotten their als. Braised pork, sauerkraut fish, spicy shredded potatoes, all in all, very plentiful.

And the portions were generous.

He Shasha was a foodie too, but looking at so much food, she felt like it was her first ti knowing Fu Xinwu.

“Is there sothing you guys haven’t told ?” He Shasha finally voiced out.

At this, Fu Xinwu instantly lost her appetite. She slamd her chopsticks on the table, almost wanting to cry, “Silly…”

“Shasha, I’m He Shasha, not He Silly.”

Seeing He Shasha’s dangerous eyes, Fu Xinwu swiftly corrected, “Shasha, what should I do? Tell what I should do?”

“What on earth is wrong?”

“I can’t study abroad anymore. My plans, my goals, my life, all gone.” She exaggeratedly took out a handkerchief from her pocket and dabbed at her eyes.

Nan Fei chuckled just watching, realizing Xinwu not only ate a lot but had beco a drama queen. This sentintal act was completely unlike her before.

Actually, He Shasha had long known that Fu Xinwu was wavering inside and had noticed Yu Fengji’s emotional entanglent with her before. But Fu Xinwu was a very unique person, completely different from the other female classmates around.

He Shasha really admired Fu Xinwu’s character, felt they were actually quite alike. So even if she felt Fu Xinwu was wavering, she thought there’s a chance she’d still go abroad in the end.

They are just those kinds of people; wavering is one thing, a goal is a goal.

Once they’ve set a goal, they won’t stop until they achieve it. Now, suddenly hearing Fu Xinwu confirm she wasn’t going abroad was quite surprising.

“Are you sure you’re not going abroad?”

“Yeah!” Fu Xinwu nodded, “Not going abroad.”

“Why?” There’s always a reason, “What made you decide not to go abroad?”

Under Nan Fei’s gloating gaze, Fu Xinwu pointed at her own belly.

He Shasha was confused, “What do you an? I don’t get it, can you explain clearly?”

She pointed at her belly again.

“Sick?”

Nan Fei couldn’t stand it anymore, and gave He Shasha a hit for being so dense, “Are you stupid? You were the one who had an early romance back in school, what kind of early romance was that?”

He Shasha finally caught on, her eyes lit up, and then her face looked like she had been struck by lightning. Finally, she gave a thumbs up with an admiring face, “Wow! That’s fast, Nan Fei’s been married for so long without getting pregnant, and here you are, getting pregnant as soon as you graduated with your master’s. Speedy, I admire, admire.”

He Shasha’s tongue could be sharp, and Fu Xinwu wanted to hit her.

Nan Fei also wanted to hit soone, “Why drag into this?” Didn’t she know that her Bei Jiang dread of having a daughter?
