Chapter 1968: Chapter 1987: The New Director (Part 2)

The Special Action Departnt is very strict internally, rarely do people betray. Now witnessing it firsthand, it’s almost unimaginable how Ding ichen ended up like this.

Yu Fengji turned his head and glanced at the people guarding the door; it was likely they were the ones handling this.

“I beg you, I beg you, let die! I know I’m wrong, I’m not seeking forgiveness, nor innocence, I just want you to give a quick end.” Ding ichen felt as if her head and skin had been peeled off, the alive yet unending torture made her collapse.

“If only I’d known earlier, why did I do it back then.”

“I…” Ding ichen struggled to glance and recognized Yu Fengji, “I regret it, I regret it, I’m scared! I’m really scared…” She had prepared herself long ago; of course, she once prided herself that her thods were unparalleled, flawless and no one could find out.

Thus, she was excited, arrogant, looking down on Shen Zian, and she mocked him joyfully at his grave.

Later, she noticed Su Hai’s position rising, and Ji Yuanjie glaring at her like a mad dog. She felt fear; she knew she couldn’t hide the fire, and once mistaken, the traces would be left. She feared one day the truth would co out. But after all these years of experience, she was no longer that pitiful creature dependent on others. She was confident she could retreat completely, compared to killing Shen Zian, this was nothing.

Only now did she realize how ridiculous her confidence was.

How ignorant she was to provoke Su Hai and the Huo Family.

“You’re scared, Shen Zian and Huo Dongfeng can’t co back to life, with their deaths, you could die a thousand tis and still not repay.” Yu Fengji really understood those people outside.

The hate in his heart could never be eliminated, how could a little Ding ichen compare to Shen Zian and Huo Dongfeng!

“Let die! Let die, ah ah ah ah…” Ding ichen scread in agony, her voice carrying hysterical despair.

Yet Yu Fengji didn’t even furrow his brow, “Don’t shout, I’ll take you out today.” After speaking, he turned to leave.

Yu Fengji was coming out from inside, as he walked out he removed his gloves, which were already stained with blood. He tightly furrowed his brows, looking at the people in front of him with dissatisfaction, yet said nothing.

Among those present, besides Ji Changfeng, all were older, higher ranking, and of higher status than him, emotionally and rationally giving him no room to speak. As for Ji Changfeng, it was better left unspoken, all the rights had long been out of Ji Changfeng’s hands.

“Satisfied after seeing her? Rest easy?” Ji Yuanjie, impatient as always, spoke first, “We always said we’d hand her over to you, but not now.” In just half a month, they weren’t so easily going to hand Ding ichen over to Yu Fengji.

Once in police hands, she’d be executed at most; letting soone like her die that easily was too lenient.

Thus Yin Nan and Ji Yuanjie kept holding her back, along with help from Huo Beijiang and Su Hai, making it impossible for Yu Fengji.

Su Hai and Huo Beijiang equally hated Ding ichen, not any less than others.

“She still has one last breath.” Yu Fengji threw the blood-stained gloves into the trash can, “If it weren’t for needing to close the case, I wouldn’t bother taking Ding ichen. If you all are still unwilling to hand her over, then I don’t want her.”

A person who can only live for another six months, even during these months, still needs dicine to cling to life.
