Yin Nan had the sa thought. However, since he had mingled between the Southern and Northern Military Districts from a young age, he knew too many people. When he considered these conditions, his mind automatically sifted through who among his acquaintances might fit them. Yet after thinking it over, he felt everyone seed suspicious in so way.
"Let think it over slowly." Yin Nan rubbed his temples in frustration. "Don’t worry. This isn’t sothing we can figure out right away. Let’s wait for your uncle to return, and we can all sit together to deliberate."
"How can I not be anxious?" The enemy who murdered his father was right before him, and he couldn’t wait even a mont longer.
"Wait!" Nan Fei made a calming gesture towards Huo Kewei. "I can narrow down the scope a bit more."
Upon hearing this, Huo Kewei imdiately quieted down, waiting for her to narrow the scope.
"Hmm..." Nan Fei pondered for a mont, closing her eyes to imrse herself in complete darkness. She recalled everything that had happened since she arrived in the Imperial City—all the words spoken, the people she had t, allowing every detail to beco crystal clear in her mind.
At this mont, she forgot about her dizziness and the faint throbbing in her temples. She sorted out the complex web of relationships and clues, peeling away the layers to identify the crucial threads.
"Hong Luan is in the Imperial City," she spoke slowly.
The others dared not speak, all tensely watching Nan Fei, unconsciously clenching their jaws. Even the two standing at the lounge door couldn’t help but perk up their ears. They had heard about the incident at the car accident site earlier and were initially skeptical. Now, hearing Jiang Nanfei’s analysis, they had no choice but to believe. Apparently, soone truly could analyze everything from the comfort of their ho, as if they had seen it with their own eyes.
"Based on her character analysis, what happened to Cousin Huo Dongfeng is definitely not the first ti she’s done this, because it doesn’t match her age nor her long-term reserved behavior. Her extrely restrained personality must have developed from living in an elite circle from a young age, where everyone around her, regardless of background or personal ability, is outstanding. Her identity and background are the most diocre among them all, which created her extrely insecure yet extrely arrogant character."
A hint of excitent appeared on Yin Nan’s face.
"Her true identity should be both successful and inconspicuous. In the past, she must have dealt with others using the sa ans as with Cousin Huo Dongfeng. That person must be the one she admired the most, envied, and also deeply feared. The one who had the most profound impact on her life..."
"I know who it is!" Yin Nan suddenly stood up and shouted to the people at the door, "Go! Contact Ji Yuanjie for . Get him over here imdiately."
Yin Nan’s secretary appeared out of nowhere; upon hearing the shout, they poked half their body in from outside, "Not hungry? It’s already past one, long past lunch."
Only then did the four of them notice it was already afternoon, and their stomachs grumbled as if on cue upon being reminded they hadn’t had lunch.
"Get soone to notify him right away, and bring us sothing to eat."
"Already prepared." The secretary gave an apologetic smile to Nan Fei and the others, "Should I have the al packed up and sent over, or shall we eat out?"
Yin Nan looked at Nan Fei, "Can you go out? If you can, let’s go out to eat and talk at the sa ti. Bei Jiang, who knows when he’ll be done haggling with those people? We won’t wait for him."
