Nan Fei lay on the bed, listening to the sound of rushing water from the bathroom, feeling an inexplicable calmness and fell asleep unconsciously. When Huo Beijiang finished taking a cold shower and ca out, he found his young wife already asleep, her lips curved with a slight smile.
He sat at the head of the bed, drying his hair while gazing intently and lovingly at the sleeping person, his eyes deep and expressive. After leisurely drying his hair until it was half dry, ensuring it wouldn’t drip onto the bed, he leaned down and placed a gentle kiss on Nan Fei’s lips.
Half-awake, Nan Fei groggily opened her eyes and found an enlarged, handso face in front of her. She dazedly reached out to touch his chin, trying to clearly see the extrely handso man in front of her, but her vision was rather blurry.
Nan Fei suddenly froze, her hand on Huo Beijiang’s chin forgetting to move.
Huo Beijiang most enjoyed when his young wife’s hand caressed his chin, comfortably half-closing his eyes, lowering his head to et Nan Fei’s gaze. Suddenly, he too froze.
The exchange of gazes between people is different; it is more like an exchange between souls. When Nan Fei was blind, Huo Beijiang had developed the habit of gazing intently at her when nothing was happening, sotis getting lost in his own thoughts while staring.
As long as he hid it well and acted as if nothing was happening, his wife wouldn’t discover it.
In Kannaya, he had watched countless tis. As long as they were together and she was within his field of vision, his eyes would constantly chase after her. He could never get enough, enchanted, afraid that if he blinked, he would lose his beloved treasure.
These habits had long been deeply engraved in Huo Beijiang’s soul. Even though he couldn’t receive his wife’s gaze in return, even though she might never know how fervently and affectionately her man watched her, he still enjoyed it tirelessly.
At this mont, the exchange of gazes startled Huo Beijiang because his gaze was t with a response. Seeing the confusion, shock, and puzzlent in his young wife’s eyes, Huo Beijiang was nearly overwheld with ecstasy.
"Wife? Wife..." He suddenly scooped Nan Fei up from the bed, his arms firm and strong, effortlessly carrying her downstairs, "Wife, you can see, right? You can, right? Hahaha... I knew it, I knew Doctor Klayman was indeed skillful."
Nan Fei was startled by his action, instinctively wrapping her arms around his neck in a hurry, "What are you doing?"
"Going to the hospital!" Huo Beijiang was completely imrsed in his joy, his steps swift, even though Nan Fei was still in her pajamas and he was wearing a loosely fitting robe, exposing a large, seductively muscular chest.
His honey-toned skin seed to glow under the light, making one feel a strong urge to take a bite.
"Wife, I am so happy, you can see now, you can see now." Huo Beijiang, excited like a child, almost wished he could fly down when rushing down the hallway from the second floor. "I’ll take you to the hospital right now, have the doctor take a good look, or I won’t be at ease."
Nan Fei, flustered by his sudden actions, could only cling tightly to his neck, afraid that the overly excited man might accidentally throw her out.
"Don’t rush, it won’t be too late to go to the hospital tomorrow, it’s so late the attending doctors are not even there."
"No way!" Huo Beijiang firmly refused.
The fear had consud him; he was more afraid that everything now was his own illusion, a dream, and that when he woke up, there would be nothing left.
